St Ben's also has so many extra curricular activities for the kids, sport twice a week, Spanish, Art, STEM, music and many more. There is lots of school events to get involved with for example Daddy/Daughter Dances, Mom's/Dad's nights out, a Gala, Fun Run and great Oktober Fest that the Parish puts on. The communication to parents each week is very clear and informative. Our daughter is thriving at the school, we are very happy at St Ben's!

My teachers really cared about making sure that we got a quality education that would allow us to become articulate adults who were ready for whatever path we chose in life. I generally felt like they cared about me as a person, and that they wanted to make sure that I grew into a well rounded individual. I appreciate the time I spent St. Benedict, and I was well prepared not only for college, but for life in general. The church building itself is beautiful, but unassuming. The vaulted ceilings are cream, gold and a soft blue that, coupled with marble floors and dark wood give off a classy vibe. They remodeled it in the late 1990's, and I think the new décor was supposed to be more true to the original. It is not as ornate as some churches in the city but just as beautiful, without trying too hard, in my opinion. The priests were all right, and I remember the masses being engaging. I miss St. Ben's!

Saint Andrew has truly been a second home for our family, providing a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment where we have formed lifelong friendships and felt connected every step of the way. Saint Andrew has done an exceptional job preparing our children for the academic rigor of high school and college while also providing outstanding opportunities in athletics, leadership, service, and extracurricular activities. Having experienced the school through multiple stages of our children's education--and still having a child enrolled today--we can confidently say that Saint Andrew is a special place that nurtures the whole child. We are proud to be part of this remarkable community and grateful for all it has given our family!

My husband and I have made many good friends, including parents across all grade levels. It has been invaluable to meet parents of older kids and get their wisdom and guidance. I keep reading articles in the news about how isolated people are these days. Well, not at Saint Andrew. It's a true community and we feel a real sense of belonging there. Also, the academics are excellent. The teachers are skilled and dedicated, and they communicate with parents regularly. They have a great support staff as well that can help kids who need extra help and challenge kids who are more advanced. I am so grateful we found Saint Andrew School. It's a wonderful, down to earth community where my children are truly known and cared for.

At the time when we were touring different preschools, we had a few good options in the Lincoln Park/North Center area. However, when we walked into Prairieland, there was something about it that immediately made us feel that it was the right place for our daughter. The staff maintains a culture that really does feel like a little community-focused family. They teach the kids to work through their problems (Montessori style) while also teaching them to be respectful both by their words and their actions. Our daughter loved going to the wide array of summer field trips that included the Chicago History Museum, Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum, and more. It kind of felt like a summer camp more-so than the school year. We really do feel our daughter developed into a better version of herself by being enrolled at Prairieland and the school has set her up for success as she starts elementary school.

Both of my girls started their pre-K experience here (Lincoln location) and loved every second of it (across 4 years). The entire experience has been stellar from the incredible teaching staff, administration, classroom environment, Montesorri teachings and the health and safety of the kids. A true neighborhood pre-school gem!!!
