The village itself is incredibly charming, and the restaurant feels completely integrated into its stone lanes and hillside setting. I had never been anywhere quite like it.
Admittedly, I cannot remember exactly what I ate, but the meal was rich, elaborate, and left me ridiculously full. I do remember a salt-crusted fish special priced at roughly €300, which captured the scale of the experience. This is classic luxury French dining in one of the most beautiful settings imaginable.
Beyond the meal, the entire visit felt special because the restaurant, hotel, and village all seemed connected. Walking through the old stone streets before dinner made arriving there feel like part of the experience. It remains one of the most memorable places I have ever eaten.
