We are about an hour away, in the Fort Worth area, but our child goes to college near this location, so we have been there often in the past two years. Our visit yesterday was our last straw. This location is frequently out of macaroni and cheese, yet it is still allowed to be purchased on the app. The first time, we were told by the order-taker that they don't have it and we will be refunded....we never were. The second time, we weren't told until we got to the window. Now, this wouldn't be such a big deal if this weren't the main reason we go there. If notified prior, we could have saved ourselves from that horrible line and gone to another location. We live in the Fort Worth area and are surrounded by CFAs. Between here and Denton, we pass many more. We've been to all of them. Not once have we ever come across a CFA that was out of anything, much less macaroni. I'm not sure what the deal is with this location. Not only is the location awful and the parking lot is the smallest I've ever seen, the constant issue of ordering and paying for an item we don't receive will have us never coming there again. I usually avoid this place like the plague around lunch time because the line of cars wraps around the building. Today I just really wanted a #1 really bad enough that no amount of waiting could dissuade me, after all it's National Fast Food Day! When I arrived there was the usual line of cars wrapped around the building. There were 2 guys outside taking orders and payment via tablet. To my surprise the line of cars steadily moved along. When I got around to the other side of the building, there was another guy standing there facilitating all the orders from the window to their respective cars. This process was the most efficient and stress-free drive thru experience that I've had. This was definitely the fastest I've ever been through a ANY drive thru at lunch time! I work in Krum and from the time I left my office, drove to Chick-fil-a, ordered and paid for my food, and get back to work, totaled a little over 20 minutes. That's incredible and almost unheard of! I have worked at two different Chick-Fil-A locations over a span of 3 years so I especially know what to look for when reviewing. I waited a few months to write a review because I was hoping that my experience with this location would improve, although my visits have turned into a sort of 'hit or miss' predicament instead. The interior of the restaurant is often dirty and unorganized. Used trays continue to sit on the tables long after guests have left and the doors almost always have an unreasonable amount of hand prints as if they are only cleaned once a week. I have also seen employees use damp paper towels to clean tables instead of the required sanitary wipes. In light of the situation, I do notice that the customer service is exceptionally better at the front registers located inside the building rather than drive-through, even during rush hour. Usually, I use the drive-through option to order because it is easier than placing a carry-out order in that sometimes names are either collected incorrectly or never called, both have happened to me on a few occasions. The issues in the drive-through portion of my experience have been in which the employees are rude and forgetful. I have received the wrong order around 4 times which required me to make a trip back to the store, with little accommodations from the managers on staff in spite of the mistake. These events have made me more conscious about checking my order on the receipt while waiting for the food as well as checking that all of the correct items food are in in the bag. As for the employees assigned to drive-through, in some cases they have flat-out ignored me and in others they are rude, made snide comments, or joked with each other instead of paying attention to the customers. Needless to say, I want to give this restaurant a good rating but due to the events I have given this restaurant a rating of 2 stars although I wish I could give 1 and a half. Only used the drive-thru for this location, but I did go there every morning of my trip so I guess it was good enough! Employees weren't always "morning people" but got the job done. Food was really good, per usual Chick-fil-A standards. If you've ever been to a Chick-fil-A, this is the same above average service and food I've come to expect from the brand overall. Biggest concern here is the layout - the front lane (closest to the main street) is shared across all the businesses and the stop signs are a little off in my opinion. I paid 1.40 for bacon I never received. This happens all the time at the Rayzor ranch location. To make matters worse you can't get in touch with anyone when u call to let them know. My advice is to check your order every time to ensure accuracy especially if you're paying extra for anything. My issue isn't with the food, its the lack of training the employees get. A few times I have been there in my old truck, they have leaned on my truck with their utility belts and the ipad they take the order on. A little over a week ago, I was driving my wife's brand new car, and the girl leaned on it and scratched the drivers door with her little belt. I reached out to them, tried to call and couldnt get thru, sent a message through FB and havent heard so much as an apology. Spicy chicken deluxe, well done fries, and Arnold Palmer. On the first day I had no issues but on the second day the employee told me that they do not do well done fries at this specific location.
