There is virtually no wait whether I'm doing a pickup order or placing the order with the cashier. The food is delicious as always. My dad and I usually get their chicken sandwiches. This is my favorite Chick-fil-A. My kids and I come here all the time and I can't recall a bad experience. The employees are awesome. This location is always super busy but the wait is never long. They have a great process of getting customers served quickly. Today I tried the mac and cheese for the first time. I received a coupon in the mail for a free side order. I must admit my expectations weren't very high. Chick-fil-A has perfected their chicken but I was skeptical about the mac and cheese. BUT, I was pleasantly surprised. It was good. It tasted like homemade baked mac and cheese. It was creamy and cheesy with the baked cheesy top layer just like I like it. I added a little pepper for more flavor. I will be trying it again. I have gone to this chick-fil-a for years. I have always had wonderful service. Lately though the workers have been inconsiderate and not helpful. I have always ordered a kids meal with ice cream and I upsize the drink to a Diet Coke and every chick fil-a I have ever been too has always given it to me. Gardendale and Fultondale are now charging me for each item individually. Which makes no sense. I would be better off to buy the kids meal and a large drink separately and just have two drinks. Five stars for fast food and doing what they advertise! Came in for breakfast today. Drive thru line was somewhat busy so I walked in and went right up to the register and my food was given to me very quickly. Really friendly people, plenty of indoor seating, quick service, accurate order fulfillment, delicious food with healthy options. In general, CFA is an awesome fast food chain that serves a smaller selection of items done really really well. Here are my standard CFA recommendations... Don't miss the sauces because they are delicious! You have to ask for them but they have always given me as much as I have asked for. For lunch I get that classic chicken sandwich, cut it in half, and use one Polynesian sauce per half. It seems to be the perfect ratio to me. Waffle fries are a must for me and I do a combo of honey mustard and ketchup for my dipping sauce. Sometimes, to change it up, I get the spicy chick sandwich and use ranch as my dipping sauce. Indulge yourself and get that lemonade! Sometimes I get the Arnold Palmer mix of lemonade and unsweet tea. Sweet on sweet is too sweet for me but it may be just what you are looking for My favorite meal at CFA is the breakfast. Yum! Hash browns, chicken biscuit, spicy chicken biscuit...all good but the real deal is that 4 count minis! Love it! Chick fil a sauce or roasted honey mustard are great sauces for those little darlings. There has been a lot of talk about the coffee lately but I have found the coffee to be terrible. Tried it a few times and the last time I gut it I threw it out and went across the street to a coffee house. Parking lot is a disaster after recent major remodel. We are inside, and found it (a) hard to find a parking place, (b) dangerous crossing the lot to get to the front door, and (c) closer to impossible to get out of the parking lot. We're having to wait for multiple cars ahead of us to get in line to order their food. Been in this line nearly 15 minutes now, still sitting still. Before writing this review I reached out to them to address my concerns. Normally in the past when they get my order wrong I contact them and they refund me the sandwiches as a reward. This time after I arrived home I realized my entire order was wrong. I contacted them and they emailed me back with a apology. No refund or nothing. Please make sure you have time to wait 20 minutes for you food, time to check you entire order, and time to physically take it back, and wait probably another 20 minutes for them to fix it. The best Chick-fil-A! My company was having a work meeting, with too little attendees for a catering order. I came right before the breakfast rush of the morning at 7AM and they had no issue filling my large order.. even the 96 oz. box of coffee! My order took longer than the others but I wasn't rushed nor given an attitude for making things difficult while the restaurant already being busy in the morning before school/work. I'm going to start this by saying that I love Chick-fil-A's food and their employees usually give great customer service. Considering COVID, Chick-fil-A doesn't offer dine in at the moment but you have the choice to order delivery, curbside, or go through the drive thru. Anytime I go to Chick-fil-A I love ordering off the app and and getting curbside service so that's what I did this time. Ordering off the app ensures that you get points/rewards and is usually faster than the drive thru lines. I think the Gardendale Chick-fil-A is one of the best ones I've been to.They are always quick no matter how many people are there. I went around two o'clock and their line was wrapped around the building and their curbside was full as well. However, even though there was a lot of people, I think I only waited 5 minutes. I usually always get their chicken nuggets with fries , a large Dr. Pepper, and Ranch. Although in the past my food isn't always 100%, this time my nuggets were really fresh/hot and my fries were warm. My only complaint is that I asked for two of each sauces instead I only one of each but I think it was just because they were busy and in a hurry to get it out quickly. In my opinion, I think Chick-fil-A follows COVID regulations the best out of all fast food restaurants. All their employees wear mask and some even wear gloves. When they had you your food they carry it on a tray and let you grab your own food so they can limit contact and germ spreading. When taking sustainability into account, Chick-fil-A is like most fast food places, they have plastic straws, plastics lids, plastic containers, and plastic silverware. However, they use styrofoam cups and paper bags, instead of plastic. Considering the amount of plastic they use, I definitely think that they could improve this to increase their sustainability. read more

Not a nice experience. After giving me the wrong salad 3 times (never got what I actually ordered), I got home and realized that I had the right dressing and some granola to go with it!
