I have grown up eating chick-fil-a (CFA) so I am used to a certain standard. This CFA does not carry the chicken salad sandwich so that sucks. However, I order my fries and I ask for them to be extra crispy because I have found that they undercook them for some reason on the west coast and it taste terrible. It is such a better experience to just go in the restaurant and order, the drive through is too long and the app is terrible to order. I will continue to eat here when I crave fries with Polynesian sauce. read more

Thank god for another Chick Fil A! I have been going to the one in Point Loma for years and I am so happy that there is another one that is close to my home. I love the Frosted Lemonades, great flavor and the people who work at this establishment are so nice and genuine. I never have a problem when I go to Chick Fil A. My friends and I came here today twenty minutes before closing. I expected not the best service because it was late but it was the complete opposite of what I thought. After we ordered, the cashier asked if we wanted any sauces (which we did) and she generously placed 3 sauce packs of each flavor we asked for. Then, when our orders were done another worker brought our food to us and she carried on with all smiles. The food we received was really good. Love your food, but this is my issue. All i wanted was the sauces i asked for. I ordered a 30 count nuggets , 2 large fries and 3 sandwiches. I was asked if i wanted to buy sauce since i had such a big order. I declined and asked for ketchup and chick fil a sauce. Got home, no ketchup. Bummer! I am so happy this chick fil a opened in La Mesa! Chick fil a is pretty much the only place I can eat that offers gluten and dairy free options (grilled nuggets, grilled sandwich on gf bun, and waffle fries). I an here about 3 times a week sometimes more. Everyone is nice and friendly. I have had some trouble with cashiers taking the money from my chick fil a app despite me telling them that I will be paying with cash or card but each time it has been reversed from a shift lead. The owners daughter who is the Director, has been extremely nice and helpful to me. She calls me name each time I visit as I am in there so often and has helped me on multiple occasions with rewards on the app and such. This is the best chick fil a location I have been to. read more

Not a good experience, at all. I got there 15 min before breakfast ended, and ordered online ahead of time. The line was so slow, even though there were just three cars from me to the order screen, it took 20 minutes to get there. Then someone came out and asked all the cars around me if they wanted breakfast, but me. She even made eye contact with me. Once I got to the order screen the guy said yes we will have your breakfast order at the front... then at the front they say nope you can't have it it's 5 min past breakfast... even though I'd been in line before and ordered before 10:30 by 15 min. The girl at the window didn't seem sorry or like she cared at all. So basically I waited 25 minutes in line for nothing. Not even an apology. McDonald's is faster and nicer than that. Not going to this location again. Usually Chick-fil-A's are kind, fast, and apologize and try to make amends if they mess up. read more

We don't come to your restaurant for the somewhat ok chicken we come for the sauce that covers up the somewhat ok chicken. You are fast food not a five star restaurant so sauce is very needed... Every time we go, there is a new rule about how many sauces you get. This time it was 6 for 4 meals. So we can't dip our fries or all of our chicken strips. Stop being so cheap and if you want to be cheap than lower the prices to match the food. This Chick-Fil-A just opened not too long ago and I love it! Best chicken sandwich I have had in ages. Chicken is thick crispy and juicy. Fries are ok they need more salt though. Where this place really excels is the customer service. Workers are super super super friendly and helpful. I feel like giving a tip $$ at the drive through. I get better customer service here than at some full service restaurants like chili's or Outback Steakhouse. I know the restaurant chain has been in the media in the past few years regarding some controversial issues but I bet you the people raising issues have never had their crispy chicken sandwich or experienced the excellent customer service rarely found now a days. Recently visited the chick-fil A in La Mesa, Ca. Ordered Spicy chicken sandwich, a little spicier then thought it would be, to much lettuce and tomatoes, over kill and a Coke (it was great). Also had 4 chicken tenders, they were good but greasy and small, but there Honey Mustard sauce was very good. The place was clean except for the light fixtures over each table were dirty. When walked into the restaurant there was one employee bullying another employee and continue as they walked to a table, others heard also. I came through the drive-thru at lunch time last week and haven't had such a great experience in a drive-thru ever! The young man taking my order "McCallister" was fantastic. Clearly spoken, very helpful, very friendly, and answered all my wife's and i's questions with ease! We were shocked to hear he had only worked there for a few months... would have thought he'd been with them for years.. Made our way through the drive-thru and had our food in hand in about 3 minutes. Hot fresh tasty chicken and some great sweet tea too! Ok. Friday night crew: not good. Derek sucks. Ordered a salad, 2 sides of fries, and an ice cream cone. He didn't even ask what dressing I wanted for the salad. Didn't put the second order of fries so I had to place another order. He forgot the ice cream cone when he brought our food and when he brought it....it was literally the smallest squirt of ice cream I've ever seen. I could still see the whole rim of the inner cone. Odd atmosphere in the whole place on a Friday night and to top it all off...my salad had no chicken. Very disappointed. Only mildly satisfied. But hey, at least I got a sample of ice cream. read more
