This is my second trip to the coop. My first trip was over year ago. I noticed there was only one review for this fleamarket so I had to come back with some positivity. I have to admit that my first trip felt a little chilly in regards to customer service. This trip was the complete opposite. The owner restores clawfoot tub's and designs unique lighting. Beautiful work. I was looking at the plaster paint that she sells and she took the time to discuss the paint and ideas as well as suggestions. She was very customer friendly. Also, don't miss the vendor booth straight down from the cash register on the right - this vendor always has fun clothing, decor and various items. I gave four stars because I felt like there were several booths that were a bit empty. I like the full experience when I go to a flea market. The shop carries a variety including large furniture, home Decor, antiques, new items and more! The owner can refurbish your antique lighting or create something new. read more

The Chicken Coop Flea Market is the jewel of Gentry! This place is so cool, just absolutely off the adorable rector scale! It's a neat old timey building set off Hwy 59 & Main, with a big chicken painted on the front facade, so there's no missing it. As I first walked in the door, my eye was immediately caught by all these gorgeous sparkly custom made chandeliers that I've seen in magazines, Instagram & decorating sites. Wow! So I had to ask the beautiful smiling lady behind the counter about these chandeliers. She beamed with pride as she introduced herself and told me her story. Her name is Melissa and she creates & designs these fabulous creations! She also can make you a custom piece, to your specifications, to adorn your home. By the way, Melissa owns the Chicken Coop and let me tell you, that this is one smart talented lady. Melissa's store is well organized with a variety of reasonably priced treasures, wares & venders. I love that! And it's smart to, because things need to be affordable. I've gone to many Flea Markets & Antique stores since moving here to Arkansas 10 months ago, that are ridiculously overpriced. So I'm tickled pink to have found Gentry's affordable little gem. The Chicken Coop has a little bit of everything here, even beautifully hand painted furniture & claw foot tubs. You won't be disappointed! :) Oh and don't forget to "say hi" to Melissa's little 4lb Yorkie pup Pete who helps her at the store. He's super cute...you just might fall in love with him. read more

Good mix if items and quality is a broad mixture if garage sale and higher end. Prices for the most part are pretty reasonable. However customer service and "attitude" from the owners daughter behind the counter really leaves one wondering if they want to come back. Biggest reason for my low rating - a shame. read more
