What a pleasant experience! Ordering was easy, the Service was fast, and the Barbie-Q Chicken Salad sandwich on a Croissant that I ordered was Amazing! I'm so sad to post this for one of my favorite quick lunch spots. I have allowed the three strike rule before feeling I need to share. Orders have been wrong almost every time we have either dined in or ordered to go. One cashier often with a long line, understandable when staffing is short but always so many in the back or just chatting away with each other. My final straw was yet another attempt to pick up the salads to go in the refrigerated section and was told we don't make that many because it's just not that busy..I'm sorry for that but as you continue to sell out or not make the flavors your going to see many like myself just give up. I really loved this spot when it first opened but just can't support a location that just is average to often below average. read more

Portion size maybe make sure it's not all bread cause that's all you can taste. I've been an AGM for 4 years in the food business and I would NEVER feel comfortable giving this to a customer especially when they are paying almost 30$ for just two meals! Oh and don't forget the butter cookies or chocolate rice crispy cookies, which we decided the rice crispy ones were kid crack cookies....you will eat the one you get for your child so go ahead and get two...lol The do have a nice choice of side salads, personal favorite I get is egg salad. Oh, they do have pimento cheese along with BLTs and turkey clubs. If you are bringing the kids they gave a little chicks menu for them. We visited on a rare trip to Cookeville, and were very pleased with our selection of eateries. Our sandwiches were fresh and delicious, and our soup was tasty. I ordered the Kickin' Kay Lynne, which I thought was a little lacking in heat, although our server said they wanted the focus to be on the flavor, and the flavor was spot on. The broccoli cheddar soup was a great accompaniant to the sandwich. My man ordered a Sassy Scotty sandwich, which he enjoyed, and he got some loaded potato soup that he loved. He said his soup was excellent. We ordered a couple of small containers of chicken salad to bring home. Each held enough for three sandwiches each. You sure can't beat that. The staff was wonderful, the food was delicious, and we're a couple of happy campers. We need a Chicken Salad Chick in Clarksville, TN, because we don't get to Cookeville enough to visit often, and the nearest location in Nashville, is a little far for a spontaneous lunch visit. After eating here during the soft opening - a time when much can go wrong - I am superbly impressed. Everyone needs this much chicken salad. It's so good!
