I'm not a big fan of chicken salad, but I love CSC! They have so many different flavors to choose from, and they all taste amazing. The grape salad and broccoli salad are my favorite sides, but I also really enjoyed the strawberry lemonade. The staff at the front desk are super friendly and helpful, too.

Chicken Salad Chick in Pooler, GA is AMAZING! This was my first time visiting a Chicken Salad Chick and my mind was BLOWN! It's so delicious. I was greeted by the friendliest associates, like the General Manager Meagan and the Store Manage Karen. I was overwhelmed by the menu and they explained everything to me with kindness and patience. I ordered chicken salad sandwhich with an upgraded salad and an extra soup. I was able to receive military discount and with tip, I paid $12! That's so incredible. The value and price point blew my mind. Plus, the service in general is so nice. The vibes here are very wholesome. While dining in, I saw an associate, who is an older gentleman that hands out food and walks around. He did it with a smile and is so positive! Amazing environment and BEST VALUE!

4.5 stars overall. I am personally not a huge chicken salad fan but did enjoy my sandwich. The mac n cheese was ok but my biggest disappointment was the soggy pickle (hence the -0.5). I just need a good crunch pickle. The buttercream cookie was great. The restaurant itself is like walking into a 2003 time capsule & I did love the nostalgia. Don't fix what ain't broke! It was clean & not busy at all. They do offer outdoor seating but it was a tad too windy that day. My husband (big chicken salad fan) LOVED his spicy sandwich. I have had the grape salad in the last & it is to die for.

We had just arrived from the airport and were looking for something quick yet tasty; Chicken Salad Chick, it was! It was an order-at-the-counter type of place with a self-serve drink station and offered several tables and booths To sit at. The food was surprisingly delicious. Would come back again!

I usually don't do chain reviews, but CSC is always great, so I decided to review it... Basically CSC is the Chick-fila of the chicken salad world - Always good and one of the few restaurants that isn't price gouging customers with unfair and unreasonable prices.

I really enjoyed my food, service and experience at this Chicken Salad Chick location. The cashier was so kind and helpful. She was also funny! Once we took a seat, we did not wait long for the food to come out! I love how hot the soup was when I got it and the salad was very tasty and I appreciated that I got two cups of salad dressing! The inside is filled with booths and many tables. I absolutely loved the decor and the pictures on the walls. I will definitely be coming back to this location!

I was really impressed with this place. I've never been before so didn't know what to expect. The staff was unbelievably helpful and kind. They told me not to order until I had tried some samples and gave me their recommendations. The staff here was as good as anywhere. Now on to the food. The pimento cheese is the best I've ever had. It's the perfect blend of texture and flavor. Grata on a cracker of by itself. For the chicken salads I got the original and the Sassy Scottys. The original seemed kind of boring or bland but I think it was only because of how incredible the Sassy Scottys ansd pimento cheese were. I am excited to return and try more of the menu out

Chicken salad melt. It was so good. The broccoli salad was great too. I'll be back.

Delicious! I had the chicken salad melt with classic chicken salad. It was so good!!! The broccoli salad was great too. I'll be back.

And it was the chicken was cooked to order, came out super hot, and was both crispy and juicy. The greens were super flavorful and needed no added spices. I'm not a big cornbread guy but took a couple bites anyway. The jalapeños weren't over powering and offset the sweetness a little. My server was amazing!!! She greeted me as soon as I walked with lively smile and great attitude. At first I was confused if it was fast casual or full service as they takeout section is in the center of the restaurant. Looking back, we probably should've kept right on walking. We ordered the fried chicken, potato wedges, red rice, New Orleans rice, and cabbage, jalapeno cornbread and pecan cornbread. Unfortunately, the only things we actually enjoyed were the fried chicken and the potato wedges. Once again, it was an epic fail. The cabbage tasted like it had been boiled in plain water with absolutely no seasoning. Both the red rice and the New Orleans rice reminded us of Minute Rice or Uncle Ben's microwavable rice--bland, lacking flavor, and nothing like the rich, seasoned rice dishes we were expecting. The fried chicken was crispy, juicy, and well-seasoned, and the potato wedges were cooked perfectly, but those two items weren't enough to save the meal. We came hoping for authentic Southern comfort food, but left disappointed. Sadly, this is one restaurant we won't be adding to our list of places to revisit.

The communal-table atmosphere makes the meal feel less like dining at a restaurant and more like being welcomed into a very large Savannah family dinner. Before our trip, one of my fraternity brothers told me that if I wanted some of the best Southern soul food in Savannah, I had to visit Mrs. Wilkes. He also warned me that there would be a long wait. Let me just say--he was absolutely right on both counts! We arrived at the restaurant and stood in line outside in the rain. We didn't get seated until 1:00 PM. Normally, I would not wait that long for a meal, but for the record, and I can't believe I'm saying this--it was worth every minute of the wait. The experience was unlike any restaurant I've ever visited. My wife and I were seated at a large table with approximately eight other people whom we had never met. Yet within minutes, it felt like we were dining with family. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and filled with genuine Southern hospitality. The food was simply outstanding. Every traditional Southern dish you can imagine was brought to the table and passed family-style from person to person. The home-cooked flavors reminded me of the meals many of us grew up enjoying. Everything was delicious, and the desserts were just as impressive. What made the experience even more special was the sense of community. People of different backgrounds and races were dining together, sharing food, conversation, and fellowship. The staff worked together seamlessly and went out of their way to make every guest feel welcome. While we waited in line, a gracious lady shared the history of the restaurant and the legacy of Mrs. Wilkes herself. The staff even provided umbrellas to guests who didn't have one--including me--which was a thoughtful gesture that spoke volumes about their commitment to customer service. From the food, to the hospitality, to the rich history and unique family-style dining experience, Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room exceeded every expectation. If you're visiting Savannah, this is not just a meal--it's an experience. I proudly give Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room a 5 out of 5-star rating and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Savannah.

The whole place is designed to feel like the inside of a trailer--spray-painted antique chandeliers, old pictures of different trailer parks, and random little details everywhere. It's kitschy, but very intentional, and honestly pretty cool. We came in late after a 4h drive into town after work, and the staff was still super friendly and accommodating. No "we're about to close" energy, which I appreciated. We started with the creamy collard dip, which is basically their take on spinach-artichoke dip, but with collards. Really good. I do think the chips were a little too heavy for the dip--a thinner chip would've been perfect--but that's a small note. The chicken pancake tacos were probably my favorite. The chicken was fried perfectly and still really moist. And at this point, I'm convinced Savannah just knows how to cook chicken. Everywhere we went, the chicken was consistently good. My partner got the grilled apple pie sandwich, which has fried chicken, grilled apples and bacon. He's not even a big pork person, but that bacon was so crispy and the whole combination just worked. Even the waffle fries were good--crispy, fresh and actually seasoned. We had the Grateful Dead and Wicked Kiwi cocktails, plus a couple of shots, and the drinks were strong, good and reasonably priced. Honestly, I don't have a ton of notes here. It's not trying to be some elevated dining experience. It's just a really good late-night spot with good food, strong drinks, friendly service and a fun atmosphere. We sat inside because Savannah in August was not about to have us sitting on anybody's patio. Definitely recommend, especially if you're looking for somewhere to eat late. It was a vibe, the food was good, and it did exactly what it needed to do.
