I never thought I would crave chicken salad until I came to Chicken Salad Chick. Their chicken salad is really that good! This is a great spot to stop in for a quick bite to eat that's different than your normal sandwich or burger places. Of course, as you can tell by the name, chicken salad is their specialty here. Who knew chicken salad could be prepared so many ways? They have so many different flavor options, and they will let you try a sample if you are unsure. I usually go with one of the spicier ones, like the Kickin' Kay Lynne, and the smokey and delicious Barbie-Q. They have some really yummy sides, too. I do the broccoli salad or fresh fruit if I'm feeling particularly health-conscious. If not, I opt for the grape salad. My coworkers come here to just get grape salad for office celebrations! It sounds healthy, but it's actually large grapes covered in this sweet cream cheese and brown sugar topping. Sounds odd, but it's so tasty! The people that work here are so sweet and helpful. The restaurant has a casual, southern-deli type of feel to it. I want to come back and try some of their pimento cheeses sometime, but I'm always drawn to the chicken salads! read more

Clean, fast, and friendly service. The sandwich I chose Jalapeno Holly was spicy with the right amount of kick and not overbearing. They also had the right amount of mayo added so the flavor of the chicken shined. The loaded potato and bacon soup was hot and tasty. This is a great place for a lunch or dinner option when your in the mood for something fast without the grease. Oh and the price for a full sandwich, soup, cookie and pickle was less than $10. I LOVE the food here. I work down the street and my coworkers and I frequently order lunch to go from here. The online ordering is convenient and easy. Being able to run in and pick up food straight away is great for a quick lunch run. I use the app and it's easy to accumulate points to use on items. My biggest issue is with some staff. I used to frequently eat an early dinner there on Monday nights with a service dog in tow who is vested and with proper identification. We had been coming in for several weeks after work before a weekly meeting, so many of the Monday night staff knew us. My dog had never caused an issue and frequently got compliments on his great manners and behavior in the restaurant. We were normally one of maybe 4-5 tables at that time of day and I always made sure to sit away from others out of politeness to other customers. We went in one night and a manager asked me about my dog while taking our order. I explained his role and she said "Well, we'll be getting busy soon, so just make sure..." and trailed off. I waited for her to finish her sentence, but she did not. I took my drink cup and receipt and sat down. At the end of my meal, I went back up to refill my drink and pick up one of their pre-made containers of chicken salad for lunch the next day. When I approached the register to pay for the pre-made chicken salad, the same manager asked me if there was a problem or if my dog had made a mess, which he had not (he stayed under the table, out of the way for the entirety of my dining time, as he is trained to do.). When I informed her I just wanted to buy the to go container on my way out, she appeared relieved I was leaving and reminded me again that they would be busy soon. I am not sure if she wanted to ensure my dog was out before they got busy, but either way I did not appreciate the comments. If my dog had been acting out, causing issues, or was misbehaving, I could understand her concern. But he was well-behaved and had been in the restaurant several times without issue. My dog was behaving as well-trained and properly exposed assistance dogs do. It has soured my experience some for CSC. My coworkers and i certainly don't order out for lunch as frequently and I have found a new place to enjoy my Monday night dinners before my meetings. It's a shame, because I greatly enjoy their food. But, as a handler with an assistance dog in tow, it is much easier to go someplace else where I will not feel uncomfortable while dining. read more

I do love this place, and the chicken salad options are perfect. Most of the time I choose a sandwich but lately I go for the Trio option. There are 15 different ones to choose, my favorites are Nutty Nana, Cranberry Kelli and for heat the Jazzy Julie. There is the Classic Carol chicken salad, and they just get better with many other options for nutty, sweet, fruity and spicy. Then the sides are so much better than the usual chips or fries. The FRESH sides include a broccoli salad, grape salad, pasta salad, and fresh fruit. My suggestion, choose the broccoli salad. Another great thing here is the service. Always a nice greet and friendly service at the register. They get busy for lunch, but have a large seating area and tables turn quick enough. Service was great and the place was really clean. I did get my food pretty fast and it was really good. I just wish that you could do a custom sandwich like mine had apples, grape and nuts. This Southern chain is quite tasty, and is the perfect place for a refreshing salad luncheon! I had the original chicken salad, the Fruity Fran, mac n cheese, and an indulgent slice of cookie butter cheesecake. I love fruit in my chicken salad, so this was exactly the right thing for me. The Original was moist without being too heavy on the mayo, and had exactly the right size pieces of celery in it. I got scoops, which were served with crackers on a leaf of lettuce. The mac n cheese tasted like Stouffer's. While I was not surprised given the price, I was underwhelmed. The cheesecake was absolutely delicious! Decadent cookie butter mixed into cheesecake and poured over a Biscoff cookie crust that has a thin layer of caramel between the crust and cheesecake. I love the sweet, slightly spicy richness in this dessert!! It was a small slice, but it was delightfully rich, and I thought it was exactly the right size. Phenomenal place for a meal! After spending what seemed like an eternity at Babies R Us (which is a good thing, because I walked out with a ton of items for a steal!), my shopping party was famished! I had seen reviews and check ins for Chicken Salad Chick so I knew I'd have to try it out. Now I am no big fan of chicken salads. I much prefer tuna salads or chicken sandwiches. I went with the best of both worlds: chicken salad BLT sandwich. You get to pick the chicken salad base for your BLT. I had the Lauryn's Lemon Basil and it was so light and fluffy! My first bite into my fluffy croissant and salad and I knew I was in food heaven! I wanted a side of Mac n cheese with my order, but they were unfortunately out. In a way, I am glad! Instead I tried the Grape Salad, which is covered in a cream cheese type of dressing, topped with nuts. This was a refreshing pairing to a considerably light meal. I could have skipped the buttery croissant, but this was much better than easy a greasy burger, though I do love a good greasy burger! The side pickle and cute baby cookie really completed the meal. I went in one day with a friend looking for a fun girly place to eat. That and we both love chicken salad. When we first walked in the door the first thing we noticed was the super cute decor. That part we liked The chicken salad was like pureed chicken, it was not good. All of the salads tasted about the same. And they all lacked flavor. I had the Jazzy Julie, the Fancy Nancy, and the pimento cheese. The cheese was but nothing you can't buy in a tub at the grocery store for half the price. The Fancy Nancy was an odd combination of pureed chicken and whole grapes. The Jazzy Julie tasted like they had just dumped a whole lot of cayenne pepper in it. Spice doesn't bother me, but the flavor wasn't there. That couples with slimy cheese from being mixed too long and rubber fat bits that I think were supposed to be bacon mean we will eat elsewhere next time. read more

This place is good. I came here awhile back and was pleasantly surprised. As soon as I walked in one of the ladies began talking to me since it was my first time there. She was really nice in trying to help me decide. It's kind of like a diner inside but without the shakes. Their broccoli salad was amazing and so was the grape salad. I'll be perfectly honest I only went in here initially to get a menu . With that being said I had no idea the owner would be at the door explaining their menu to customers . This place is new and just had their grand opening a few days ago so I wouldn't have imagined the owner would be there on a random Thursday afternoon . Have you ever met someone so nice that they compelled you to make a purchase you hadn't planned on ? This gentleman painstakingly describe in detail every item on their menu. Here's the fun part I was not dressed in a suit & tie was having a lazy day so I had on shorts and Dodgers hat turned backwards and still received top notch service . They let you sample all the chicken salads that they sell and after trying 2 my daughter picked her favorite . I took my mom to Chicken Salad Chick today and enjoyed a really, really good lunch. We got the lunch special (6.79) which was the perfect choice for us. It was lite, very tasty and the price was right! Mom got the "Fancy Nancy" and I got the "Nutty Nana." The soup of the day was a Mexican tortilla soup and oh man, was it yummy! We love chicken salad and are so glad we found this place. We ate there an hour ago and I've already made it a point to tell two of my friends. If you haven't eaten here yet...you really should try it out. I must continue with my review because I am so impressed with this place! I have been ordering the soup and sandwich x 2 and paying $13.80 plus tax. The nice lady behind the cash register told me if I ordered the gourmet chick and selected 2 cups of soup for the two sides, I could save a little money. That tip saved me over $4.00. I give them five stars for exceeding my expectations. The food portions were hefty. They also allow you to sample the different flavors of chicken salad, which is available as a scoop or sandwich. I ended up getting the 'Barbie Q' which tastes a lot like the chicken salad my mom used to make. I got it as a sandwich sliced into two huge triangular portions. The soup choices were loaded baked potato and chicken tortilla. I went with the chicken tortilla. It was cheesy and awesome. The combo also came with a drink, crackers, and a pickle.
