Can't get in touch with any body, I'd like to complain about my kids can driver. His name is Max, both of my daughters go to different schools. On Tuesday around 3:34 PM I get a call, and a text stating that the van driver wasn't coming. So upon arrival as I proceed to walk up to my daughters office to come grab her not even a few minutes later the van driver arrives. So I politely asked to chiefs van driver I thought y'all wasn't doing transportation ? He states that, no I told them I was running late.... Picking up my other daughter from school here he comes behind me.... As I walk out the door he drives off doing 65 miles, speeding off so I couldn't get any pictures or evidence of the lies I was told. Mind you my children haven't been picked up in over a month for pick up but he would make sure to drop them off. He's non-chalant, manipulative and rude he doesn't communicate on why he's not picking up my children. And another thing a Hispanic kid pushed my daughter out the van, and locked her and did Max do absolutely nothing. read more

Complete failure of basic safety protocols -- 5-year-old left on bus Chief Bus Service put my 5-year-old child in extreme danger due to gross negligence and complete disregard for standard safety checks. The driver had my daughter on the vehicle for over an hour across town, completely bypassed her scheduled drop-off stop, and drove the vehicle back to their facility lot. I only knew where my child was because I tracked her GPS watch, which showed her stationary outside their commercial depot. When the incident was reviewed, interior bus video confirmed that the driver never checked the student manifest, merely yelled into the rearview mirror to ask if any kids were left, and failed to conduct the mandatory physical post-trip walk-through of the vehicle before parking. My 5-year-old was left sitting on the bus at their facility until the driver was getting ready to exit. Entrusting young children to a company that skips basic headcounts and vehicle sweeps is a terrifying risk for any family. Parents and school districts should demand complete accountability and strict oversight before using this service. read more

Horrible driving at 350pm today down Fontenelle Blvd, van driver swerving all on the back of my car within inches of my bumper going side to side behind me, the speed limit is 30mph! Thursday, January 22nd, 2026: Pine Elementary School: I was guest-teaching in OPS when a Chief bus rolled up, and this blonde woman with glasses and a red sweatshirt and yelled out the window: "Hey where do I pick up kids? This line is ridiculous!" I said, I'm not sure, I'm a sub... She yells back "WELL SO AM I" !!!! (huffing and puffing). So I offered to call the front office for this lady to find out - even though I was on my way to crossing guard duty. She didn't wait and pulled into the back lot - apparently found the kids she needed to pick up, and then proceeded to turn LEFT out of the back lot AGAINST traffic, going the wrong way down a one way street and hauled ass out of there, meanwhile running over and breaking two of the school's traffic cones that were set up to direct traffic. I reported her behavior to the secretary and principal. And I hope in the future you hire more competent people, and not stir-crazy drugged up nobody's who are supposed to be entrusted with other people's CHILDREN! read more

This bus service is contracted out by Westside Community Schools in Omaha. You have to pay for the service after elementary school kids reach Junior and Senior High. My son, who rode their bus for 3 years, forgot his bus pass 4 days in two weeks. Even though they knew he had one, it is their policy to not let kids ride without pass. I can see proving a point a couple of times to make the kids learn, but after 4 times in 2 weeks they're just punishing the parent. 1) I was paying for a bus pass that is useless, and I don't make very much money, 2) they left my kid stranded with no ride home, I mean, who's the adult in that situation?, and 3) I lost my job for having to leave 4 times in 2 weeks to pick up my son. I would definitely NOT recommend. read more
