It's the only Peruvian restaurant I know that's around this area. Located more along 17th street and a bit farther from Lacson, this restaurant is a "hole in the wall" or perhaps a "gem"
During my visit, I had to try their ceviche pescado - it had a nice touch to it, and I was certainly content with the flavor. Not exactly your typical ceviche, but still great nonetheless! I also had the:
-pollo saltado (Peruvian chicken stirfry)
-Cerdo con papa (pork tenderloin soup with potatoes)
-pescado blanco (a white fish dish nicely simmered in white wine)
-aji de gallina (a mildly spiced creamed chicken)
-arroz chaufa (much like Chinese fried rice with beef, peas, and carrots)
All of them, were great choices! I especially liked the aji de gallina, since I like a bit of spice with my food :)
For the beverage, I had the "cucumber ala fresca" pitcher (fresh cucumber juice infused w/ lime and ginger) - very REFRESHING! ^_^
Overall, a great eating experience. The ambience is nice, and this restaurant is a nice place to take someone on a date. The music has a very smooth Latino feel. The prices are affordable. Oh, and they have Wi-fi = a great plus too! Haha
