When I first started getting crowns done in Feb of 2014, they were using one type of Crown material and the next time I went back it as another, they ended up replacing most if not all the original crowns under warranty. In June of 2016, I had I believe 7 Crowns done at once, due to the extreme wear that I had, we needed to build my teeth back and I was told I could add to and take away as needed for proper fit. Which sounded great with the information that I was given at the time; I can tell you it was very painful, and I will never do that again. Of those crowns, most has come off and were replaced with the newer product. Now those same crowns are breaking and I'm having to replace them again at my cost. I was led to believe these crowns were permanent not temporary. Most crowns are less than 7

After making a few calls the God's must have been with me because they led me to Dr. Childress and his wonderful team. As I made the 25 minute drive to LaGrange from where I was working, I wasn't sure what to expect. But as I walked in I was pleased to a modern office, nicely decorated and was greated by a very warm staff. After a thurough exam the Dr. and his team gave me my treatment and payment options. As I was 4 weeks from getting my new dental insurance I knew this wasn't going to be pretty. I decided to take the best option which was a full crown and was thrilled to see and hear that the Dr. has a new camera and comupter that actually creates the crown right there in his office while I waited. How wonderful to not have to return for that dreaded second visit and not to mention no nasty blue goo process! First off, I've never been to a dentist that didn't do an exam and cleaning same day, well they don't, they did the exam and then scheduled a "deep cleaning" for a future date.... Second, they couldn't get my blood pressure right but I can confidently tell you it's because they didnt have me sitting correctly to take blood pressure, I wasn't comfortable. Third, they roped me into opening a care credit card because they said after insurance the cleaning was still going to cost me $1800. Well I had the discernment to sit and think before having the deep cleaning that would have cost me $1800 and canceled before the appointment because my insurance covers 100% of preventative and restorative services with a $25 copay. Went to Pine Mountain Family Dentistry and paid my $25 copay and got my DEEP CLEANING that my insurance COVERED 100%. They also didn't take my blood pressure before doing the cleaning, and now that I think of it no dentist has except for my root canal and my wisdom teeth removal so i dont know that was weird too. So i dont know WTF they were charging me but I'm glad my intuition kicked in because I was going to schedule my husband too and they probably were going to do the same thing to him. Would have gotten $3200 out of us, on top of what they would have gotten from our insurance.

I went to another dentist a few years ago and got a set of partials. They never fit well at all. He never offered to help me and make them fit better. This time I went to the Absolute Best Dentist in town. Dr. Jackson kept making sure that they were made right and fit perfectly! I thank God for Dr. Jackson! I would give them at least 10 stars!
