There are animals to visit and a small store with eggs, honey, produce, pasture-raised chicken, other local foods, fresh-cut flowers, and various books, clothing, and merchandise. For our event, they put up a huge tent, so we had breezy shaded dining. This was next to another covered structure, for a breezy shaded dance-floor. And there was a food-truck bar as well. In all, a clever use of their space for a fun comfortable event. We had access to their farm for self-tours, and i think there were guided tours and feedings, too, but we walked ourselves among and petted and brushed and fed the humped mini "zebu" steer, non-wooly Katahdin sheep, goats, mini horses, a mini donkey, mules, about six of rabbits of different kinds, and chickens. And beehives! We were there for a special event. The Gorman Heritage Farm is open to the public Mon-Sat for under $8 per person. Come see fun farm animals and products!

They're very caring and very safe with your children. I recommend to everyone to come here with your children. They have activities for your crawling baby all the way to swim, and gymnastics. A significant portion of each lesson was spent with the instructor talking--often about himself--rather than focusing on active teaching. Furthermore, the approach to learning drum charts relied entirely on rote imitation; the instructor would simply have my son copy his movements. As a result, my son actually began losing his ability to read charts and became overly dependent on the instructor. He can now only play the specific songs he was told to copy from memory, rather than learning how to independently decipher drum sounds and learn songs on his own. I had hoped the program would focus on building true musical independence, not just mimic a teacher.
