We are visiting from Oklahoma. The frozen margaritas were good. And they were 2 for the price of one. It was freezing in there so my fiancé drank them and I had a coke. The nachos with beef steak were really good. We sat at the bar. I ordered soup and salad. The salad was good.... tried the avocado ranch.... couldn't tell the difference from regular ranch. The soup I ordered I THOUGHT was going to be tortilla soup but it was this thick gross enchilada soup and when I asked the bartender she said oh we don't sell tortilla soup. I am waiting at Chili's for dinner with friends. We are told there are two parties ahead of ours so it may take awhile. I took a walk around the dining room on my way to the restroom and I see 5 clean four tops, 3 clean two tops, and 1 clean six top. When asked about the hold up the receptionist tells me she hasn't had time to seat anyone. When she finally came back to the front desk and started seating is she seated all twenty or so people at one time. Not a good start to our dining experience. When we got our water two of the four glasses had to be sent back as there were additional nondescript items floating in the water. Our meals were good. I had a hamburger, one of our party had the fahetas, which hit the spot. For dessert one person ordered a chocolate molten lava cake with four spoons. Very rich. read more

Went to eat at Chili's in Lake Mary with some family and a family friend for my mom's birthday dinner. Unfortunately, our server didn't care that it was her birthday, rarely visited our table, and it was hard to get her attention when needed. She missed a lot of things we asked for, and when we asked again, other people would have to bring it out for her. However, the reason I'm giving 5 stars is because the manager, Trellis, was phenomenal. He stepped in to make sure we had everything we needed and his service was above and beyond. Very thankful to him for making my mom's birthday dinner better than it might have been without even knowing it was her special day. read more

Consistent. Good food and service. Salads and Soups are served in large bowls that are very shallow, not really a meal IMO.

I came here with 3 friends and sat in the bar/loung area. We were on a lunch break, but the server didn't seem to care. Everything took about twice as long as it should have. Water came about 5 minutes after she greeted us, then another 10 minutes for the chips & salsa, then yet another 5 minutes before she decided to see if we were ready to order. Of course the food was as expected at any Chili's, but I was amazed at the slow pace of service for lunch. The parking at this location is also pretty scarce. You end up parking across the way in another shopping area's lot. Naturally the review is based primarily on the server, so maybe I'll have to try it again and hope for a little more attentive service. read more

I went there with a party of 9. We had a very friendly waitress and there was a balloon artist making balloon animals for the kids around at different tables. Service was decent for a big table like ours and they had two for one specials on beer on tap and margaritas, which impressed me because it was a Saturday. The noise level however was very loud and I had a hard time hearing the conversations around the table. All in all we had a good time and the food was yummy! read more

To start with, no social distancing. the place was packed with no room even to park in their parking lot. Now I ordered online at 5:44 pm on 01/15/21 Friday, I placed an order for 2 steak dinners that were on sale in the 3 for $10, which came to $30 with the tip, the donation to St. Jude, and rounding up to the nearest dollar. I paid with my debit card. I was given an email with my order number and arranged to pick it up at 7:00 pm curbside. As I stated when I got there, there was no place to park but circling once I found a space in the front that was nowhere near the pickup area. I decided to walk to the pickup site and walked inside at 7:05 pm. I asked about my order and no one could find it. They asked about the order and I showed them my order on my phone. I had to show this to 3 people. No luck. I asked for my money back rather than wait and was told the Black Manager girl would come right out. She looked at my phone order and it was right but since it was not on the computer SHE COULD NOT GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK. I said excuse me and she said NO STILL. I was livid and told her in not a nice way, this was not the end. I landed up going to Burger King and spent $13 on burgers for dinner. I will never go there again and will definitely post more bad reviews on other sites. This was always my favorite especially for lunch where I was on a first-name basis with my server. I don't know what happened to Chili's I used to go to lunch there all the time. Last time i went to one Everything was really greasy and It tasted like the oil had not been changed in months.and the food was not hot. the waitress was not very pleasant i don't know if she was having a bad day or what. The time before that the forgot about me and my friend we saw people getting there meals that came in after us. We asked whats going on.the manager said there bringing your food right out . that food had been sitting there for at least 20 minutes. Not even an apology. I am so thoroughly disappointed in the service and overall experience in this restaurant. It is unacceptable to have customers wait 15 minutes just for drinks, let alone messing up 3 out of the 5 orders, and then charging us for their mistakes. So, my kids have always liked this place so we have kept coming back. On May 5th we ordered from them for curbside and it took 90 minutes past the estimated wait time to get our dinner. We and many others were not just treated rudely but experienced unprovoked hostility. I would have never gone back but others prevailed. My three orders since then have had one or more errors. Today's meal for three had four errors. My order in particular was wrong in multiple ways. It just does not seem to be a well managed location. Avoid takeout from this location! read more

my family came here, lake mary chillis, for dinner at 6pm, we were told there was no wait then had to wait over 20 minutes to get seated. there seemed to only be seating the bench area which was a very small area and more than half the restaurant seating open. we sat down for over 20 more minutes with no getting to get a drink or anything. we asked to speak to a manager before we walked out and got an excuse that both managers were on the cook line and could not come talk to us. look people, business owners of you cannot function and serve people properly don't be open. if you decide to be open you need to figure out how to manage to service your customers that have to wait. it's more professional to at least acknowledge the customer and explain about the wait verses nothing at all. we have been coming here for years but this will be the last. as a business owner myself there is no good excuse. learn to manage your facility better. read more

Ordered a Cajun chicken pasta and wanted to share with my husband as we were not that hungry and fries and the pasta was brought to us in 2 small plates which I thought was a great presentation instead of one big plate and the server was always attentive. Here's a hint .. don't go to Lake Mary chili's! Slow serves. Beg for refills ..chips Cold and Salty! Onion rings burnt and tasted like fried in same oil as fish! Really gross! A rare cold day and cold inside everyone in restaurant were eating in their jackets! We couldn't eat chips and onion rings.. ate about 1/4 of meal and asked for take home boxes the food was cold by then. Needless to say onion rings and chips were left! The waitress apparently forgot to tell us about special promotions going on, as well as not getting half of the order correct. My friend and I went for lunch around 12:30. We walked in and the hostess just said, "Two?" and walked us to our table. No greeting or smile at all. Once at our table, the server came by and asked for our drinks. Once again, no greeting, smile or attempt at conversation. My friend ordered a drink while I got a water and the waitress just dropped them off at our table and turned around. We realized that she had just brought us two waters, and it took another five minutes for us to flag her down so she could bring the correct drink. The food was delicious, but the bowls are intentionally deceptive. I got a cup of soup, and the cup was like a thimble, but half of that thimble was thick ceramic to cover the fact that they weren't giving you hardly anything. I liked it enough to order a bowl of it afterwards, and the same thing. A solid inch at the bottom was ceramic, making the bowl shallow so they give you practically nothing. The server didn't make us feel welcome at all. Even when she refilled our drinks, she just reached over my shoulder and grabbed it, and plunked it back down. Okay, so my latest visit was my second and last. I went there last night with my sister at around 6:00 p.m. Figuring it was a Sunday night, I figured, "Well, it won't be busy, and what could go wrong?" Short answer: everything. After a brief redirection by a very snotty service that didn't like the fact that we wanted a booth, we were seated directly across a party of ten. I immediately knew there would be a problem. So, I ordered my margarita (once again, nothing but sour mix) and received two of these disgusting concoctions because hey, they were doing me a huge favor and it was 2/1 happy hours. Ugh. I then ordered the sirloin, well done. At that time, I specifically asked our server if the loaded mashed potatoes had sour cream in them. I was assured that they did NOT. This was rather an important point for me. Meal came, I got a red steak. Grrrr...I don't care if your chef is "offended", if I'm paying for it, I want it the way I want it!. So I sent it back. Meanwhile, by the time my sister was FINISHING her burger and fries, my steak showed up. One bite of the potatoes? Yep, major sour cream. I gagged and tried my best to swallow it, but that was a horrible, cloying taste. Meanwhile, the garlic toast was so soggy I thought it had been soaked in water prior to serving. We went for Happy Hour on Sunday at 3pm. Happy hour is all day long on Sunday. Walked in (no line) and went to sit down in the bar area. The only booth available was dirty, I did not see any of the wait staff so I politely requested the hostess have someone clean it when they could. She was quite rude, I had to request the table be cleaned a total of 3 times. She came over and cleaned the table for us, visibly annoyed at having to do so. She was not busy & there were no new customers coming into the store, doing your job with a smile is important. While our server was very nice and the food was all delicious, the Ziosk tablet did not calculate our bill correctly. We each ordered Stella drafts 2 each, (which were both ice cold!) and drinks on happy hour are B1G1. Southwest Eggrolls were $4.99 (happy hour price) and queso that was $2.99 (happy hour price). All of these prices we learned of from advertisements on the Ziosk tablet, yet we were charge normal price when attempting to pay on it. We had to ask our waiter to correct the price on our tablet to reflect the happy hour price. I dont feel like I should need to ask to be charged correctly. I have been coming to this chili's for almost six years now 3 to 4 times a week lately at least one item is missing from my meal when I return to work to eat it at lunchtime. I called in the plane multiple times and today when I called in the manager Randy had the audacity to basically tell me that I was lying that he put that item in my bag himself and I advised him that I was looking at my mail and it was missing the one item and he told me I was sadly mistaken. Came here for lunch with my husband. There was another couple who came in right before us, but otherwise the restaurant was fairly empty. There was no hostess to greet us, nor did they greet the couple ahead of us. We waited for at least 15 minutes with no acknowledgement from the staff for us or the couple ahead of us. We finally decided that we'd have better luck eating elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend this particular Chili's to anyone who wants quality or timely service. Traveling on business and hotel was across the street. Since I knew they had a lighter side menu I went over. Found a seat at the bar and was greeted and given a menu. Got the happy hour 2 for 1 which was nice. I had the new spicy chicken with pasilla which was pretty good. Not sure why all the bad reviews as seemed everyone else around me was happy as well. Just stopped in for a beer and decided to get some of their famous baked potato soup. It came out cold so I ask that they simply heat it up after I mixed the cheese and bacon. They heated it but added more cheese and bacon. When I got it back it was luke warm but was more like cheese soup with pieces of bacon and potato. I asked if they would make me a fresh bowl and was told they would just take it off my check. They never returned with any soup. Pretty sad. read more

Extremely rude and unprofessional hostess. We asked nicely why they were only seating people on one side of the restaurant and not spreading people out (considering we are in the middle of a global pandemic). She immediately, angrily pounded her hand on the table saying they were short-staffed and won't fill up the other half of the restaurant, for that reason alone. I have a hard time accepting less than mediocre customer service, when restaurants are hurting. So many people out there, looking for work and Chili's stoops as low as to hire someone who not only treats their customers with such disrespect, but also chooses to show up to work as if she just rolled out of bed and detests her job. We immediately left and went down the street to LONGHORN where we were treated with the utmost respect and dignity and excellent customer service. So worth paying the extra money for better service, better food and a food chain that keeps everyone safe by installing dividers between booths and practicing social distancing. Chili's has really gone down hill these past 10 years. I doubt that the shareholders would be very impressed. read more
