I admit that Bistro 33 is one of the best restaurants at Bagdat Street neighborhood. The menu has many choices, meat, fish, pasta, pizza and it has a good drink menu. We were very happy with the wine that we ordered. The place has a big patio which was equipped with fans and heaters for all seasons. We were four people and shared eggplant with parmesan gratine and tomato sauce as a starter which was good. I had beef fillet with asparagus, emmenthal and mortadella cheese. It was good. The other friends were happy with their food. The place was a nice choice to get together with friends and chat. On my second visit, we sat inside. The service was good again although it was saturday and was very crowded. The staff was very friendly. My only complaint was the noise level of the interior space since there wasn't any noise absorbing surfaces for the acoustics of the environment. It was very hard to hear the conversation of four people. Finding a parking spot at Bagdat street might be a problem so don't forget that there is a vale service of the restaurant. I will definitely go there again.

About 6 years ago I used to come often to this place and was really disappointed when coming back this time. In fact after 2 badly mixed cocktails we left and went uphill to Sunset where we had taken our dinner before and spent the rest of the night in their bar which I can recommend as a much better alternative. Sorry Anjelique, but door, service, quality and price performance have become really bad - you definitely have to change for the better!

Crowd is older than I expected, and people mostly only socialize with the group they come with. So if you're young and want to dance, Anjelique may not live up to your expectations. On the positive side, view of the Bosphorus is quite nice.
