My experience with this estate agency was extremely disappointing. After residing in the same property for four years, I faced numerous issues, including poor maintenance of the building's facilities, persistent rubbish left by other tenants, a broken lift that was never repaired despite assurances, and mold-infested stairways and walls. Throughout my tenancy, the agency provided no support or assistance.
When I decided to move out, the entire process was fraught with difficulties due to the agency's lack of professionalism and communication. They were initially unwilling to return my tenancy deposit, and I had to make several visits to their office to request the deposit account details, which they were reluctant to provide. Only when I prepared to take legal action did they finally comply. To my surprise, I discovered that my deposit was placed in a different protection scheme than the one specified in my contract.
The agency failed to respond to my emails and provided only generic answers when contacted by phone, stating that the issue would be resolved soon. It took them three weeks to send the inventory checkout report, far exceeding the required 10-day period.
Subsequently, they proposed a partial return of my deposit with deductions for alleged work that needed to be carried out on the property, yet they failed to provide any supporting evidence, invoices, or receipts for these charges.
I escalated the issue to 'My Deposits,' but found their support lacking, as they seemed to heavily rely on the landlord's statements rather than examining the evidence provided.
I strongly caution anyone considering this agency. They are unprofessional, lack transparency, and demonstrate poor communication. The predominantly male team displayed a dismissive attitude, showing little respect towards tenants, particularly women.
