Chim-Clean missed their first appointment with us because the staff forgot to call to say they were overbooked. The president apologized and asked if they could come the next day. I rearranged my schedule, but after the allotted time had passed, the president called to say they couldn't come this time because their drop cloths had gotten wet in the rain. I thought he was joking (wouldn't a professional carry extra drop cloths wrapped in plastic, or go back to the office to get some, or buy some on the way to my house?), but said instead that I had plenty of drop cloths and that they should still keep the appointment. He said he'd be right over ... but never showed up for a third time. Another sign of their unprofessionalism is that the company appears to rely upon customers leaving phone messages on an answering machine, which is not always possible since their mailbox is sometimes full.
