Didn't realize such a cool place existed!…read more Tucked away on the 2nd floor of a building on mission street, this place is hard to notice even if you walk by--it took me a while to find it even though I already looked up the address online. Inside, the place is filled with crazy gadgets and electronics. Mitch, the instructor for the soldering class, is crazy helpful, and the soldering class was actually really fun--I almost forgot how therapeutic soldering can be. Kind of like meditation. There was also another web design/programming class going on on the other side of the building. The class was full, and folks there seem to be enjoying themselves also. Overall, a pretty cool place to chill out and visit.

After I was kicked out, they refused to refund my membership fee and locker fee, but continued to charge me monthly rent and locker fees until I updated my credit card. And they refused to accept all of my emails, even though they were very important to me.

Some other yarn shops can feel very gatekeeper-ish in my experience, but I didn't get that vibe at all here. As soon as I stepped in, I was greeted warmly by a table full of people and an employee leading a class or group. I didn't require any assistance, but the employee made a point to come over and briefly check-in in an unobtrusive way, which was much appreciated. The space is bright and airy, and the merchandising is on point. They have a surprisingly good variety of yarn, considering the space isn't gigantic (I'm used to Dharma over in San Rafael). Things are clearly labeled and priced, and patterns are available for knitting and crochet, ranked by difficulty, along with a list of where you can find them online. My mom ended up buying some lovely yarn that was made in the USA. Overall, the vibes were great-- it seemed like they were having some kind of class in the back, and it sounded like people were having fun. I perused their website and was impressed by the variety of workshops they offer. They also offer scholarships to workshops, which I don't think I've seen any other yarn store do. Love it when businesses give back to the community that way!

She gave me recommendations and I ended up going with this beautiful yarn that started out white. This is the color it was after I did a solar dye with acid dyes during the class. The store is amazing and has so much to offer. It is clean and organized and easy to find things on your own. I really appreciate the finished products that are sprinkled around the store to give inspiration.

Any craft under the sun they have space and equipment for. There's a wood working area, 3-D printing, huge etching machines, t-shirt printing, machines for jewelry crafts, space to work on laptops or schoolwork etc. There's is so much to do here and if you are a creative I deff recommend checking this place out. There was a girl there who was 3-D printing bones of the body and in a hand to help her with her Anatomy class. The gentlemen that showed us around helped teach her some tricks on the 3-D printing and how to do it and he is passionate about creating and helping others be able to use the space or any machine in there just ask and he will show you. This facility has so much going for it, that I see it doing well. Membership and rental fees vary, but quite reasonable. And they are accessible 24 hours a day. If anyone is looking for an office space, start their own business, or pursue artistic endeavors, forget about wasting that spare bedroom, attic or garage, this is the place to check out!

This review is for a summer camp, for younger kids. I was really disappointed given the high price…read morepoint for the camp (it was more expensive than any other camp we did this whole summer). It was supposed to start at 9:30am, but they sometimes took the kids back a whole 30 minutes late. Given again how much we're paying, this makes no sense. Also was super disappointed that they would play multiple movies each day in the background while the kids were working. It's not necessary at all, and some of the movies my son described weren't appropriate. We wouldn't do this camp again.
