We called Issac out to our home for a check up on our chimney after the 2026 ice storm to see if there was any damage to our chimney. Our fireplace was on during one of the coldest day's and heard popping and vibration noises in the chimney and turned it off. After Isaac arrived to inspect our chimney inside our fireplace, in the attic and on top of our roof, he determined everything looked securely connected with no issues. He determined since it was so cold and the heat from having the fireplace on was only expansion noises. We felt very comfortable with him showing us that everything was still in place and we had no problem moving forward. Isaac was PHENOMENAL. Took me damn near a month to write this review because work was crazy - but I finally got some time to enjoy my WORKING GAS FIREPLACE! I've lived in this house 3 years with a piece of junk, rusty, non-working fire place. It's a massive bummer because it's the center of my entire dining room. Every quote I got was $10,000 or more to replace it. Horribly unhelpful people. I had almost given up - until I met the Chimney Professionals and Isaac! He came, analyzed the problem, ordered the part, and installed it. Also, the freaking power died during the install!! He finished it up with nothing more than a Mobil lighting rig and pure determination. The price was fair for the intricate type of work this is and the risk of burning your home down if done wrong. Can you give zero stars? We had a nice system put in last year. We went to start a couple weeks ago and the automatic igniter wouldn't go on. We weren't sure what to do so my wife called. She told them that she wasn't quite sure what was wrong and then they offered to come out to the house. Man showed up immediately, walked over to the fireplace and the first question he asked was have we changed the batteries? Batteries? And then proceeded to show me that one of the units needed batteries, but four batteries and started right up. The total call took maybe 30 seconds and he knew what the issue was from the start. Which was conveniently left out of the call with my wife that they were batteries to the unit at that point he said oh I'm sorry but we have $150 Trip charge when I asked him why he couldn't have told my wife over the phone to check the batteries before coming out he said while she really wasn't sure what was going on and I wanted to do right by my customer question. Right by your customer? Right by your customer is telling some over the phone based on the problem have you check the battery. Find my wallet and pull out a credit card only to find out that they don't take credit cards but cash checks and Zelle. Clearly annoyed while I paid the man the trip charge, he tried to chat me up about how he was doing right by his customer and continued to defend the charge. He then tried to act like I had no right to be annoyed so after I paid him I asked him to leave. Not before I told him what a shyster he was for taking advantage of my wife and situation where he assumed she or I wasn't capable of changing batteries. To be fair I have no issue with the system or installation but know the are not looking out for you as a customer and will happy to schedule and swindle you out of trip charges that are unnecessary with a little conversation. We will never do business with this company again after this slimy behavior. read more

PROFESSIONAL, PROMPT, and KNOWLEDGABLE!!! I reached out to Chimney Professionals via the Yelp quote request late afternoon on Tuesday and Isaac responded to my request within a few hours. We quickly chatted about my fireplace issue and he scheduled an appointment for 2 days later. On the day of the appointment, Isaac called to let me know he was en route and provided an ETA which was helpful to ensure I didn't miss him. He arrived on time with an assistant and introduced himself as he entered my home. He came in and I went over my issue and he quickly diagnosed what he thought the issue might be and sure enough he was correct. It took him minutes to repair my issue and had my fireplace working beautifully. The best part of the visit for me was the care he took with my home. Sam came out to repair my gas log fireplace set up the gas not worked since last season. He assessed the system and notice that gas auto light mechanism was no longer working. Rather than replacing the whole stem he was able to remove the gas pilot triggering mechanism which was not working and rebuild the set up to have a simple gas pilot that I light with my lighter and system is on. He cleaned up the whole fireplace and got me going for the winter and many more to come without all of the extra complexity. read more
