I've visited 4 of their locations, and have been relatively happy with them until today. My appointment was at 5:00 pm, I arrived a few minutes early to give them updated information. The girl who was assisting me couldn't find my new physician's information , but I offered it to her. She said I am checked in and she will update the information shortly. My information was not updated shortly, it was almost a full ten minutes later, which showed me late in the system. I was taken back into the room almost 20 minutes past my time. I get it, this happens. People run late, Dr.'s take extra time with their patients, whatever. I got into the getup they give you for a skin check and it was almost 10 more minutes before the doc came in. She came in, and very clumsily and arrogantly said "whoops wrong room". I'll be back. I now have to wait longer, and it ended up being almost 5:45 before I was seen. Doctor came in and I said what was the hold up as I was here on time, and she very rudely that I was late. I said no, I was here just before 5:00 so I could update information. She argues that I wasn't checked in until 5:07. I said that's false because it was 5:00 when I was sitting down waiting to be called. She then acted arrogant (and I could't tell if she had a little something something with lunch or dinner) and was lecturing me about being late and that I was in the wrong. I was very gruffly asked about any concerns, and I let her know which one I had. I said that when I visited the vein surgeon that a common result of my condition is a very dry and itchy spot on my leg. She said that was wrong, and it was a very different thing all together. This was verified by the surgeon's office as a very common issue with varicose veins. She then said that she couldn't do a proper skin check because of some of my tattoos with their pigmentation/shading. Then when she checked my scalp, it felt like Torgo from Manos hands of fate was going through my hair. Dr. Rommel was giggling and saying whoops, and sorry trying to separate my hair and check along the hair line . I know I should have gotten up and left when she started lecturing me, but I needed a refill of a prescription and who knows when I would get into another Dermatologist. So that portion was done with. Now to filling of the prescription. I check with the dispensary people, very nice ladies. They said that the script was written for a size that they don't carry, but can send to any pharmacy. Great, I tell them which one and location. I asked them how long would it be for it to be filled as I needed to go grocery shopping, but can stop afterwards. Turns out they send to a completely different pharmacy that I have not used in about 6 years. The only reason I know that it went to the wrong one is, I got a text while I was grocery shopping. Great, now I need to call them back to tell them it went to the wrong pharmacy. But you can't just call the location, you have to call their 800#. Took about 10 minutes to get someone who works in their dispensary with prescriptions for them to move it over, and they were very apologetic about it. The two kids working the front desk apologized when I told them about the issue with the doctor, and said it was also partially their fault. They said that it was on their end and they could vouch that I was in fact on time and not late. I will speak with the practice manager tomorrow, as I have left them a message. If not, I will call in and as to speak to them... Overall, don't see Dr. Rommel as she is very unprofessional. If you go to this location, try to see one of the other doctors.

The body check was the worst experience I've ever had at a Dr office..she was rude..rushed..and didn't use a light which I discovered this morning should be done. The whole experience at this place was humiliating and I cried the whole way home..I found out this morning that a couple spots need to go to biopsy and probably should have been found 6 months ago. I don't remember the young Dr's name or the assistant in the room with us but just picture 2 mean girls..condescending rude mean girl 1 with a clip board and the other making you feel belittled and violated..literally cried all the way home..glad my husband was there to drive me because I wouldn't have been able to see through my tears. Here's why: 1) Yes, Dr. Fu's office is a bit of a hole in the wall, and he works alone, but that means I'm not paying for ambiance and an office staff of PAs instead of an MD. 2) Dr. Fu is a no-nonsense, get it done kind of guy. He doesn't "freeze" lesions, or radiate them, which I've had done by others, and which then return for the MD or PA to "freeze" or radiate again and again. He gets out his scalpel and eliminates the problem right away. 3) he's "been around the block" a few times and is familiar with all kinds of conditions on all kinds of skin types. 4) He focuses on the medical aspects of dermatology. Most of the other dermatologists I've seen have a cosmetological emphasis and are trying to upsell you to coolsculpting or botox or some other superficial treatment. 5) He's available -no long waits to get in, and he follows up with you. 6) He often provides patients tubes of the topical treatments he prescribes. 7) Dr. Fu accepts Medicare and most insurances. 8) Dr. Fu sees his patients as fellow human beings, without pretense. It's true he doesn't offer more specialized procedures (like Mohs surgery, which requires an on-site lab and histopathological technician for real-time thin-section microscopic analysis). But he does send almost everything he removes to a lab to verify the diagnosis.

Dr Fu's office was very rude and never tried to help by offering to call and talk to the insurance company. Disaster! Do NOT waste your time... pick another doctor!!!
