Dinner combo special with Beef & Broccoli, General Tso's Chicken, fried rice.
Brian B.

I used to live down the street but I never had considered trying it until recently. Based on their rating, I was hoping for some reliable Chinese food and that this could be a spot I frequent. I really liked that they offered a dinner combo special. For my order, I opted for the Beef and Broccoli, General Tso's chicken. The meal included fried rice and an egg roll. Also grabbed an order of rangoons for my wife. I had placed the order online which was very convenient. I arrived to pick up my order and found it was ready to go. The female who helped ring me up was pleasant. There weren't any other patrons in the restaurant at the time of my visit. Seems like this is a place where take out is more prevalent versus dining in. The meal itself wasn't very hot temperature wise, but it was still edible. I had asked for it to be made extra spicy but that request seemed to be ignored. The food was okay, just nothing really stood out. The best part may have been the egg roll. I'm not sure if I will be back to this place in the future but at least I got to see what their food is like.

Lousy food and drink

I went here because of the reviews, but was disappointed about the food and tea. The restroom was clean which I was happy about. But the tea tasted old and not clean. The egg drop was really yellow and looked over cooked and the taste was overpowering with salt. The rice wasn't to my liking either or the sesame chicken also found a small bone in the chicken. They serve you very little but I would expect better for a 14.30 fee for the meal. Had a lot better for the same price range. Very disappointed in the establishment

Delicious food and quiet atmosphere. The shrimp was very fresh. Didn't taste frozen at all. Hot chili oil was kind of old chili flakes. Hot mustard very hot. I loved the pain.

Very good small place come from the Hill Country. They don't have Chinese. This place is outstanding my daughter found it. Will be back again soon.

Food was great. Very clean place and service was very nice. I had the lo main with shrimp, chicken and beef. So yummy

Very clean restaurant. Good hot fresh food. Reasonable prices. Great service. Will definitely return

Orange chicken

Customer service - 10/10 Vibes & music - slay Price - cheap Okay to the important part... the food - the lo mein and orange chicken were both really good. I think the lo mein had the perfect amount of greasiness you would expect. The orange chicken had really good sauce and right amount of crispiness. The fried rice was also really good! I think if you are wanting "takeout Chinese" this is a good spot. Am definitely coming here again when I crave takeout Chinese food.

Tasty and good value. The fried rice isn't the best I've had, but it's not bad enough to stop me from ordering here again.

I don't think it's truly authentic Chinese food, but an in between little diner with great and attentive service, reasonable prices and a lot on their menu. What we ordered came out super quickly and all the dishes were very good. We got egg drop soup (delicious), one stir fried seafood dish (shrimp and scallop- so good!), shrimp fried rice (great), the General Tso's beef (my husband loved this!), chicken lo mein. Generous portions for all dishes. I am sure this place is great for to go also because they must have had 25 to go orders in the 45 minutes we were there to eat.

It was coated with flour like fried chicken instead of corn starch which it should be Couldn't taste the black bean sauce although the sauce was strong Sweet and sour soup was full of good items but so much pepper it made me cough Soups are in tiny cups they call small bowls White rice is good and sticky Shrimp with lobster sauce is nothing like it should be, mostly corn and tasteless, I mean tasteless like water Not the usual recipe others serve. The beef rice noodles were like I would make from a reg pan at home without, again, taste. They need that wok taste but it's not there So disappointed, not cheap either , easily $18 a plate Place was clean and looked decent but what good is that if the food is lousy?

The staff is super friendly and courteous :) ! We usually order the beef vermicelli soup, and a variety of dumplings :D ! They serve our food pretty promptly, with the soup still hot and tasty, and the dumplings steamy and savory :D ! My sister doesn't eat pork. So she typically orders dumplings that don't contain pork. I eat all kinds of meat. So I always order the pork and chive dumplings :D ! Whether you come in on a weekday or weekend, it always helps to come early if you can! If we want to go there for lunch, we try to get there as close to 11 am as possible when they first open. As it gets closer to 12 noon, it starts to get really busy, and it's harder and trickier for the staff to seat you. There is both booth and table seating. It's a great restaurant to catch up with friends, family or even colleagues over a good meal :) ! The parking lot out in front is a pretty decent size. But it can fill up pretty quickly when it gets busy! We also love ordering frozen dumplings to go :D ! For sure, we will definitely come back :D ! Kung Fu Noodle never disappoints :) !

We noticed the decor had changed (yes, I said it had been many years) and it was quite nice! We were seated promptly and placed our drink order (tea came with lunch). We ordered Rangoon as a starter. The lunch specials came with soup and egg roll, and fried rice. DH ordered his litmus test dish for American style Chinese- General Tso chicken. The portion was generous. The sauce was tasty. The chicken pieces tasted like your average frozen nuggets tossed in sauce. It's that familiar "seasoning" to the chicken and coating- iykyk. Not bad at all, just not the best. He enjoyed his egg drop soup. I opted for Hunan Beef. The sauce was thicker than I prefer, with an almost gelatinous consistency. The hot and sour soup was nice, a little more sour than hot. We both thought the fried rice that came with lunch was a little bland. Maybe the entree version is better? Each special was under $10, and it's definitely a great value.

It was the in between time of late lunch 2:30-3pm so we thought we would miss the Sunday afternoon church rush. The parking lot and restaurant was full but didn't let it scare us. Pro tip- you can hang outside and check out the koi fish in the pond to kill some time Sat down and drinks came out fast ordered dim sum which came out in the cute steam baskets first. Shrimp Shumai and pork bao buns were so good. My kids asked for seconds We also ordered the sweet and sour chicken, spicy eggplant/tofu, shrimp& broccoli and the combination fried rice. Everything was perfectly seasoned with the exception of the sweet and sour chicken. It was very bland. Next time I want to order the orange peel chicken instead. Looked good and now we know!
