For some reason, the manufacturers seem to double-cover these things; that's something I've seen even at the grocery chains. Most of these places will allow you to try a slice before purchasing it. The clerks here are pretty good about this. It's not that humongous of a store, and no seating is provided inside, but they do offer a sandwich bar, where you can order specialties to go. You're not required to pick a number to get service, but it does get busy in here. The shop has a cement floor, with display cases laid out in front of you as you walk in. It was a sports bar setting. I ordered a rare 10oz New York. It was cooked perfectly and tender. My wife ordered a Montreal Smoked meat sandwich. It came nicely toasted on Rye and had a ton of meat. Shelves are somewhat empty and they no longer carry Upstate milk or Black River eggs (perhaps the freshest previously available). Big M historically has been my go to grocery year round. We asked, and they've only been open two weeks! It's a lovely English style pub with tin-looking walls and dark furniture - everything is new and tidy. There are booths to sit at, a long bar, and high tables near the window, so there are some nice seating options. We tried the cream of carrot and ginger (soup of the day) and it was outstanding. I tried the sandwich of the day, a roast chicken with caramelized onions on 'mediterranean' bread, which was a simple white bread with some bits of kalamata olives in it, I think. I had an option of fries, salad, or potato salad, and went for the salad, which was a pile of lovely fresh greens with a creamy balsamic on top. Another of us had the chicken leek casserole which was huge and tasty. With some tricky to find imports on tap like Newcastle brown and Old Speckled Hen, we really felt like we'd stumbled into a nice example of a UK pub in Brockville. They have a bunch of premium and imported options for beer on tap plus a reasonable wine list. Worth a stop!
