Anyone who feels this is the best "authentic" Chinese food in town is delusional. It was terrible and some of it even inedible . *likely most of it was preprepared well in advance early in the day. Most everything except the egg rolls and soup was luke warm at best. The rice was almost cold. *the chicken for the sweet and sour chicken was only slightly warm and very hard as if it were either old or over cooked. *our egg rolls, though freshly cooked, were over cooked and had burnt, hard parts. They tasted like old grease and were saturated with it. Inedible. *the entrees were very large portions, yes, but both the Mongolian Beef and the Chicken and mixed vegetables had very little meat and was mostly vegetables. The mixed vegetables, which for some reason included zucchini, were over cooked and mushy. While the flavor of the sauces was good both dishes were swimming in it; way too much. Neither entree was very hot. *the order of steamed dumplings? where to begin. They did not use traditional wrappers which is normally thin, the wrapping was extremely thick and doughy, more like a flour pasta dough. They were prepared extremely well in advance and the wrappings were gummy, pasty, and stuck together into a lump so that when the dumplings were pulled apart they stuck together and had to be torn to pieces to be eaten. They were not fresh and less than room temperature even. There was little filling to speak of, maybe almost a teaspoon, so the bulk of it was the gummy, pasty, thick dough. *the hot and sour soup, which is my #1 favorite thing to get, I have had it many dozens of places so I feel I know how it is traditionally made, was very poorly made. The mushrooms were nearly whole and fairly uncooked, the bamboo shoots were very thick, undercooked, fibrous, and tough, some of the pieces were too difficult to chew they were so tough. There was very little egg, no pork, no tofu, red cabbage, or other typical ingredients other than a few scant shreds of carrot. The soup base was very thick, almost a jelly, with a very underwhelming flavor. This ranks among the worst h&s soups I have ever had. Oh, and the fried noodles were beyond stale to the point they were inedible. In summary, the food was not fresh, poor ingredients, very skimpy on meat, too much sauce, and over cooked. For the "quality" we received it was extremely over priced. I will absolutely not be returning. Side note, the man who took our order was very unfriendly and nearly yelled at me when I asked for my soup which he had forgotten to include. At one point he was yelling at someone on the phone about an order at the top of his lungs then yelled at someone who came in to complain that they got the wrong food. Such a rude man, not how you should treat people. They must have burned something, my egg rolls maybe, and the rather large dinning room filled with greasy smoke that was choking me so that I had to wait outside. read more

Absolutely the worst Chinese food I've ever had! Today is November 4, 2021 and they still have the counter blocked off for Covid. The restaurant is filthy disgusting. They have blocked off the bathroom and they are storing all kinds of supplies in the restaurant. I don't think they've mopped the floor ever. There's garbage on the floor under our table. There's no waitress service and if you want to sit at a table you have to wipe it off it's so dirty. It's very hot inside. The person taking orders is very gross and abrasive. They charge me $.25 for an extra box so we would have a plate to eat on because they wanted us to eat out of the communal food boxes. The food was terrible. The eggplant was undercooked and had no flavor. The chicken meat was all dark meat and it was hard and dried out. There's a lady watching Chinese soap operas with a TV on full blast and the person that's taking your orders is watching Chinese YouTube video so you have to listen to both of those things as well. read more

This is probably the most legit Chinese restaurant, not only in East Naples, but in this part of Florida. We spent this Thanksgiving holiday here and we have been twice in a week it was so good. We had take out the first time and it was soooo good we went back and ordered our food and ate there. Michael (????) was extremely helpful and willing to fix us "real" Chinese food and we could not have asked for anything better. After reading reviews I decided to try this place. On Marco Island there is NO good Chinese food - so I hoped this place would be a winner. It got off to a rocky start. I called the restaurant to verify the hours operation and the owner barked at me " til 11 - it says so on the menu!" Well since I didnt have a me u- I guess I deserved his wrath. Lol. Nonetheless, I went to the restaurant and ordered. Prices average for the area. Packaging- horrendous. Styrofoam containers that leak rather than typical quart handled style containers. The liquids went i to the back and onto my car seat. Please get better sealing containers. I got crab rangoon- no crab and little cream cheese. Cheap but NOT a winner. Mongolian chicken was great and abundant. General Tsao chicken heavily breaded but flavorful and abundant. Pork lo mein- a but too juicy and mot enough veggies or meat to my liking. Overall- service and courtesy are a bit iffy. Food was 2 out of 4 items being good. So.... ill rate them as I have and wish they can get better. My hope is they do- get better that is. To the owner- I heard everything you said about Yelp and how people rated you bad BEFORE you opened. Please know my review is accurate and not meant to attack you- but rather to encourage changes that will make you a better restaurant overall. I've eaten here over 10 times and they never disappoint. I always try something different because their menu is huge. As far as staples go, their egg rolls are filled with both meat and vegetables, not all cabbage. Their soups are excellent. I especially love their curry beef. "This is terrible," was his next comment. We also ordered a Pu Pu platter which was basically a tray of overly deep fried substances. The beef was more like jerky. The shrimp was beyond recognition. We got only 1 instead of 2 egg rolls, and even that was so overly fried that it crumbled apart with each bite. The spare ribs were...well, I'm not sure. There was meat on sticks, but not what I would consider spare ribs that would typically come with some sort of glaze/sauce to yum it up. We didn't even attempt to eat chicken wings. This family-owned business has been open for almost two years now, and I happily patronize the place at least once a week. Not once have I been disappointed in the quality, flavor or portion-size served up here. I consider it one of the undiscovered jewels of Chinese cooking here in Naples. The menu is twice the size of most other locations, and I make it a point to order something different each time I visit. The freshness of ingredients is a big plus. The vegetables incorporated in each dish are garden fresh, colorful, artfully cut, crisp and delicious. The shrimp are plump and tasty, and the pork, chicken and beef are consistently tender and high quality. Portions are very generous. Even those with hearty appetites will likely leave here with leftovers to enjoy the next day. Today, I ordered the Moo Shu Chicken, and, as always, it was scrumptious--a good portion of chopped-to-order vegetables, delicious chicken, six delicate pancakes, a nice-sized container of plum sauce, and a large serving of rice--enough for my husband and I to share, and we still had to ask for a take out container. The food is cooked very quickly. I do see customers order and then run out to the adjacent dollar store, coming back to find their order on the table, piping hot and ready to eat. The food and service were very good. A large menu with many, many choices. Prices were all very reasonable. My wife and I decided to try the Special Family Dinner for $29.95. Wow! The quantity of food was amazing. It would easily feed 4 to 6 hungry adults (or 4 hungry teen aged boys!). If you've had boys, you get the picture. We chose Sesame Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Chicken Fried Rice, 8 Crab Rangoon, and 3 Egg Rolls. White rice was also served. Food was served as each dish was prepared so it was all piping hot. It was all very good. The chicken, fried rice, and egg roll were my favorite. My wife liked the beef and Crab Rangoon best. We have enough left overs for at least dinner and lunch for each of us.
