        Zunächst gab es ein Restaurant in der Ernst- Thälmann- Straße. Mit Eröffnung der Reuterpassage sind wir in das neue, schöne Lokal mit seinem typischen Baustil gezogen.

        Alles bleibt in der Familie. Anfang 2017 wurde das Familienunternehmen aus Altersgründen auf mich übertragen. Ich habe zuvor in Evershagen eine Änderungsschneiderei betrieben, habe aber auch damals schon regelmäßig mitgeholfen und bin so in das Unternehmen reingewachsen.

We were actually in the area to see the Warnemunde church, and a sign for the restaurant at the street corner intrigued us. It was practically right next to the church, so we checked it out. Upon entering the restaurant, you are welcomed with beautiful Asian decor. There is an upstairs and a downstairs to the restaurant. I guess they open both if they are busy, but when we were there, only the downstairs was open. Lucky us! They have this cute little pond downstairs with a ton of koi fish! There are tables right next to the pond, so you can actually enjoy watching the fish while you eat. The waiters are very friendly, and one of them speaks perfect English! They also have an English menu, which was helpful, since the extent of my German is "gesundheit". I must say, all the food was delicious. The spring rolls were my favorite, and they serve it with some of the best sweet and sour sauce I've ever had. They also have beer (of course, you're in Germany), and cocktails, but I didn't order any. It's nice to have that option though. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area!

We went quite late, next time we will walk around a bit more. The decor is old wood, fish nets and old German decor. The only thing I would change is the chairs. Although comfortable, they seemed like patio chairs rather than dining room chairs. The servers were some of the kindest we had encountered, so soft and happy to accommodate any requests for drinks and food. Checked on us often and smiled lots. The food was perfect. Husband had the eel, mother-in-law had a fish salad and I had salmon wrapped in filo pastry with a side of squash (special of the day). All presented well and were super tasty. We can't wait to go back. And will bring visitors here when they are in town.
