Staying at SI Suites and the receptionist told us about this place... very good! Placed order over the phone, walked over in 10 minutes and it was ready. Walked back and food was very hot and tasted fresh. I wish I took pictures of the food, but we were so hungry we devoured it! #2 (Won Ton Soup) was a bit salty, but #39 (spicey fried beef) and 47 (sweet and sour pork) were great. Also, #15 (Pork Spring Rolls were massive!). They did not provide any utensils or sauce, so I'll be sure to ask for those next time. Still... really enjoyed this meal. Glad I stumbled upon this restaurant while browsing Yelp for places in the Möhringen area to have a meal. I was pleasantly surprised when we walked in to see a diverse crowd in a restaurant that's a bit in the shadows if you don't know where it's located. Food was very good, they had a very large and substantial amount of items on the menu. In both German and English. Our server spoke enough English to get by. Food came out promptly and it was great. I've been 3 times now and tried something different each time. Tried hot pot, sweet and sour pork, and the crispy duck Szechwan style. All really good. The menu is huge so I recommend taking a peak online before going otherwise you'll spend half an hour deciding. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the pad Thai my husband got, if your used to pad Thai from the US then you'll notice the difference. Pad Thai traditionally consists of fish sauce and tamarind along with other ingredients but the pad Thai here had more of a sweet tomato-based sauce. Not bad but not what I was expecting. My favorite thing I've eaten so far has been the crispy duck and if you go at lunch time the prices are very reasonable. The staff are attentive and friendly as well. Check it out! read more

Came here based on a recommendation from a colleague. I would give this place 3.5 stars. It's a nice restaurant and conveniently located near the Salzacker stop and near the Dormero hotel. Ordered the pre-fixe meal with fried duck and chicken. For 15 Euros, this is the best bargain for getting with a three course meal. It was perfect for what I needed. I liked the heating plate, which may not have really kept the food warm, but it was a nice touch. This place also takes credit cards, which is something I appreciate. read more

Only been in Stuttgart 6 days and this was my very first restaurant. Granted it's not German, I will get there. But this restaurant was awesome. It was semi packed, but service was great. I wasn't rushed and had time to enjoy my food. Among large families and couples, I was solo, but the one waiter was still attentive to me. As for the food, it was flavorful, cooked well, priced well, and served well. The menu is in German and English. All of my food came out to me in the correct order, giving me time to eat and enjoy each dish. Not to mention the tasty shot of Plum wine when you ask for the bill. Definitely the wine the Drunken style kung fu masters drink lol I highly recommend this restaurant and I will be going back very soon. #BlessUp read more

This is definitely our favorite Chinese restaurant in the area (we have tried three so far). The service was great, the location can't be beat for us, there is good parking and we loved the food. Atmosphere - plenty of seating, and we were happy to find a high chair since that's not a given when you are out to eat in Stuttgart. We sat near the fish tank so the baby could watch the fish while we ate. The waitstaff was very pleasant, especially with the baby. I ordered the fried rice and it was fantastic. It was a good sized portion and not overcooked. They did not skimp on the beef, either. My husband ordered a spicy dish and found the spice level to be good. We ordered dessert - fried fruit and it was delicious. Loved the shot of wine after dinner as well. We will definitely be back and would recommend this restaurant to others in the area. read more

Tucked away in a quaint neighborhood and if you are not looking for the restaurant you may just breeze right past it. This establishment is a gem and I wish I knew about it earlier for my trip here in Stuttgart, Germany. As a foodie living in NYC, I tend to keep my standards very high when it comes to restaurants due to the nature of the competitive restaurant market. Competition breeds excellence, and the sub-par restaurants ultimately wither away which really is a win for the customer. All I can say about China Palast is 'wow!'. The food and service was absolutely wonderful. The staff members were very nice and attentive to your needs. The food came out with the right amount of flavor, kick, spice and temperature. I will sure be back before I leave Germany as my 'final meal' =D I hope this restaurant continues to serve great food for both tourists and locals alike. read more

The location of this place is great for service members (or contractors), especially those new to the Möhringen (Kelley Barracks, SI Suites) area, as good food options are not that great there. In the SI Centrum there are super jacked up prices and outside is just German imbiss fast food. So, with this delicious Chinese restaurant nearby it should make an easy decision. The food is spot on. I got the soup for two, which had a light broth, fresh veggies, and chunks of white chicken meat and a couple of shrimps and maybe other meats. Then I got a spicy curry noodle dish, which was very good. It came with a fried egg on top of it that was yummy. Then I think I may have got some other type of spicy dish, which I can't recall, but I remember everything made me happy. The drinks are priced fairly well, plus they finish off each meal with a shot of plum wine. It's a beautiful way to end the meal. Service is pretty nice, with plenty of English and German spoken. I'm sure they speak Chinese too, if you want to go that route. I said "nee-how" and they loved it! There is an older gentleman who is über friendly. He likes to joke around by pretending he only serves the ladies and other funny little things like that. It's cute. Chinese food is so great and it tastes awesome, even in Germany. Pro tip: Find restaurant in a little neighborhood, basically to the left if the Plieningerstrasse U Bahn stop, across from a park. There's a foot path from the back of DomMero, or just go around across train tracks if you're not into exploring. read more

I read the reviews and took my family hoping it would be a chic chic Chinese restaurant. It was not. Menu was half Chinese, some Singapore dishes, and some Thai dishes. Duck dishes were tasty and good -my wife and I both had a duck dish and it was good. However, the fried tofu was greasy and the Thai Noodles "Phad Thai" was made with a tomato paste base and was not good. overall I rate this restaurant as good to average. read more
