It's a bit difficult to locate as it is on the second floor and there is only a small sign at the entrance, which is located in a pedestrian only zone. A word of warning to my American friends: German Chinese food is very different from American Chinese food, so come here with an open mind. The hot and sours soup is phenomenal, albeit very different from the American version. The menu is extensive and heavy on morels, bamboo, pork and duck. Entrees are placed on a warming dish in the middle of the table, making sharing easy. For dessert I highly recommend the fried bananas with honey (also very different from the American dish by the same name).

Compared to the other asian restaurants we usually visit we enjoyed a better King Prawns meal. The Sha-Cha Beef was good, though it was the first time we ate that. But why the 3 star rating? The bathrooms weren´t clean, "fresh" smelling as it should be. Even we were seven people each meal was served way too far apart. The soda tasted as it had rested quite some time prior to serving. Every time they served Duck on a hot pan (Tit-Pan) the restaurant smelled like burnt food. And funnily enough not only our group but also other left the restaurant repeatedly coughing. The next time we want to eat asian food we head over to our beloved asian restaurant or to the other asian restaurant which is close to Tang.

We chose the HotPot, where you simmer/cook various types of meat (e.g. beef, chicken, lamb and so on) or fish (e.g. crabs, squid and so on) in a hot or chicken soup. But you can also enjoy in addition the typical Asian/Chinese cuisine which is also very tasty. The service was quick and helpful, e.g. which sauces can/should be mixed together to achieve a way better taste. Highly recommendable, especially the HotPot!
