    "Shrimp fried rice"

Terrible experience!!! To start the crab Rangoon's didn't even have a tea spoon of filling. The shrimp and chicken fried rice were anywhere near fried rice. seems to be sourced from the Mexican place next door. No egg no thing, just huge pieces of diced onions and carrots . Asked for extra chicken and shrimp and it's like if I told them don't give me any. Way overpriced for the quality of food there. Wouldn't recommend it all.

    Where's the beef

I ordered a beef chop Suey and I'm still trying to find the beef supposedly it was a lunch special with no pop or egg roll

The crab Rangoon's were such a disappointment! They literally just had a shell with little nothing inside each of the 6. Ordered off of Uber eats and couldn't receive a refund For $7 it was a waist of time, money and was such a disappointment.

Yu Sian ( ordered spicy ) pot stickers, egg roll. Good stuff.

Place is near my house. Often get pickup or delivery. Hardly ever eat there. Some stuff is great; Pot stickers Egg Roll Hot and Sour Sesame Chicken Yu Sian Chicken ( order spicy ) Mixed Vegetable ( also order spicy ) All others have been fine. These days, their ingredients are fresher and much better quality.

The WORST fried rice I've ever had. Yellow Spanish rice, PLAIN unseasoned chicken. NONE OF IT HAS BEEN FRIED.

Just moved to the area, a few blocks from this establishment. Figured I give them a go and order some chicken fried rice. When I got my food I was surprised to notice that it wasn't even fried rice. The rice was yellow rice that had absolutely no flavoring and a few peas, carrots and LOT of chopped up, either white or yellow onions. AND THE CHICKEN, the chicken was slimey and some pieces were still pink and not cooked what so ever. The entire dish had NO seasoning or flavoring at all. As I picked through it with my fork I became aware that this rice or anything in the dish was never fried. It is obvious to me everything in here was microwaved. When I called for an explanation, not only was the person on the other side of the phone rude, but also completely unwilling to do ANYTHING to rectify my purchase of completely UNFRIED yellow rice and microwaved chicken. I will be telling everyone I know that this place is NOT worth the time or the money.

Not a fan of the egg foo young. It was flat like a pancake and burnt. The pork was dry in the fried rice.

I've repeatedly asked that they don't include so much rice in the chicken rice soup since it ends up more like wet chicken and rice, and yet they continue to do it. The flavor was pretty bad this time around anyway, so I will not be ordering it again. Strangely enough, the egg drop soup, which I do not normally care for, was quite good. So the quality varies, I guess. Speaking of quality, the vegetable eggrolls were over-cooked and dry, but the shrimp eggroll, which was part of a lunch order, was good. I also tried the fried rice for the first time and was not impressed at all. It looked like Panda Express fried rice, except Panda Express is better. Usually Chinese fried rice is much better than any chain. As for the main dishes, the sesame chicken and teriyaki chicken were good, but the broccoli chicken was just so-so. In the photos online it has a brown sauce, but it came with a white sauce. I'm not sure if that has to do with my special instructions asking to put garlic in it or not, though. I also asked in my special instructions not to provide utensils or any sauce but sweet and sour but they threw in hot mustard, soy sauce, and utensils anyway. So I still don't know if they can see the special instructions or just choose to ignore them. In any case, I will probably still order here occasionally since the location is convenient, but I'm not as thrilled with the food as I was in the past. That being said, they do pack the containers as full as possible which I appreciate as not all places do.

I'm glad I waited because my options expanded to the entire menu, not just a one-off veggie dish!! Everything me and my partner tried was delicious. The service was so welcoming, kind, and hospitable. The place was nearly empty when we arrived and got a couple more tables during our stay. There was music on and off. It didn't feel air conditioned. To meat eaters: I understand the letdown of the menu you once loved changing drastically, and I know, who are you to trust me... but please don't write Luong Loi off completely. Maybe for one of the times when you go out to eat or order food, you can try doing veggie and support this lovely place. :-) For the appetizer, we were recommended the Mushroom Pani Puri. It was savory, great textures, with a very tiny bit of spice. For my partner's entree, he got the Fresh Rice Noodle with Crispy Rolls & Vegan Ribs. He loved it. I tried the vegan rib and it was delicious! For my entree, I got the Half-Moon Tofu Fried Rice with Vegetables & Vegan Sausage. This was so yum, great combo of flavors, savory and smokey, and the eggy crispy tofu was really great! Drink: Vietnamese coffee with sweetened condensed milk, brewed at our table with a Vietnamese phin filter that's placed over the cup. Stirred and poured over ice for a cold drink. This was nearly identical to how I make/prefer coffee at home, so it was PERFECTION.

We were greeted quickly and warmly as soon as we came in. And the same lady who welcomed us in was also our server. Let me tell you she was absolutely incredible. You can tell from the pictures we ordered a little bit of food not too much and let me tell you everything actually turned out surprisingly delicious. I do find the Filipino food is a little bit of hit or miss, especially in the states. However, everything was delicious. In fact, we only had a little bit of leftovers and managed to clean the plates of everything else. This place is truly authentic. You can still tell that it's owned by a family, which I think is fantastic. The decor is incredible as well. But most importantly for me, which is not how photographic the places, but rather the quality and the taste of the food. One fun thing is that the café next-door is also owned by the family that owns this restaurant. And so you can order food and desserts from the next-door and they'll bring it over to you at the restaurant. I will do a separate review of the café as well. Another fun thing was that as we were on the way out from dinner, we noticed that they were setting up a traditional kamayan set up on a table nearby for a party of six. We had the privilege of meeting the owner and he helped tell us about their set up their pricing and also that quite frankly you can customize us any way that you like. We will definitely be coming here again, even though it is quite far, but this was well worth the drive.
