Take out is our mode. They have a couple of tables if you want to eat in. Food is good, if you need to add or remove an ingredient it usually works but every now and again my order has mixup. So annoyed! Went to a Chinese restaurant and I ordered chow mein and they gave me a freakin dish of chicken stir fried with veggies! Let me ask everyone a question! What does chow mein mean? Am I missing something? Apparently if you want stir fried noodles you have to say "chow mein fun" but chow mein fun at this restaurant is with rice noodles and I don't want rice noodles. I didn't want their chow mein fun because I didn't want rice noodles. The lady at the cashier who took my order was nice she did ask with veggies and I said yes I want veggies in my stir fried chow mein. Smh! They need to not call it's chow mein if it's not going to have noodles it in and they need to call it chow fun if they are going to stir fry it with rice noodles. Ughh I knew I should have driven a few miles down to Panda Express that actually calls stir fried egg noodles chow mein. The manager said if I wanted stir fried egg noodles I had to order lo mein and then I said there's a difference between lo mein and chow mein! You're Chinese you don't know the difference? First time here. As I drove up, I noticed the neon sign was off. I "googled" this joint which had a high rating of 4.5. No dine-in and the waiting area was about the size of my master bathroom. I had to search for the "popcorn shrimp" in my Kung Pao Shrimp and it was not spicy. Lots of veggies though. I walked in and placed my order and received it in less than 15 minutes. This (Kung Pao Chicken) wasn't "cooked to order" but rather "ready made". The steamed white rice and the wonton soup was okay. There is no chance that I will visit this restaurant again. read more

Gave this one more try after 2 years and I it's still not good. Their food looked delicious until you ate it. My honey chicken looked like it was caked in some type of dark sauce and I had to spit it out. my pork fried rice had no flavor. The general Tao chicken was BLAND and the vegetable lo menu was eatable with ZERO flavor. Granted we asked for extra spicy and all it had was heat. I have eaten from here 2 times. The 2nd time was only to give it another chance it's another chance since it's close to my home. The house lo mein had hardly any additions to the noodles and the noodles were very mushy both times. The wanton egg drop soup is way too slimy. They overdo it with the xanthan gum which is what makes it thicker than regular broth. The general Chow's chicken was basically fried bread crumbs as there was no meat at all or it was completely dried out. It wasn't very tasty either. read more

These guys have printed on their menu "best Chinese food in town". Well, that ain't sayin much, as Middleburg is a tiny town. So, best in the entire area (Middleburg, Fleming island, Orange park, etc) is more accurate. The bourbon chicken is great, as are the bbq spare ribs. The sesame beef is not. I enjoy my food from here every time I order takeout. The crab rangoons are delicious. I typically get the sweet and sour chicken combination and that is enough food for two people. Sometimes the people taking orders by phone are not the most pleasant but I let that go because the food is typically very enjoyable. read more

Best Chinese food in the area. We pass several other Chinese restaurants that are much closer to us to get to China Wok. They are always friendly. The service is fast & the food is consistently delicious. Egg drop soup and vegetable lo Mein is my go to choices. Bourbon chicken, General To's, and chicken chow mein are all delicious as well. The reason that I downgraded them and I will not eat here again is the cashier/phone order taker was dropping f bombs in just general conversation. Man... I have to be honest... I find hair in my food almost every time I order. The food is good but, the hair is disgusting.

I live pretty close to this place and I have to say I absolutely love it ! Every time I go here everything's fresh and warm, I've never had any problems with the food or the people. The people have always been super friendly and sweet, and have always complied to any needs I ask for. The place is small but pretty clean, and I couldn't honestly complain at all. Shrimp egg rolls stale, egg foo young gravy tasted rancid, the general tso's were bad, the shrimp fried rice w/ extra shrimp I paid for was pathetic,terrible flavors. Husband spit his food out. Worst ever.. they do not specify that they put meat and shrimp in their house lo mein. Well I called back to get it replaced since i am allergic to shrimp and he said I had to bring it back first. I explained to him my son was working down there and will swing in to get the replacement and drop off the others after he heads back out. He told me he wasn't going to do that and was rude. I got very upset due to the fact I had no way to go up there and I had food that is outrageously priced that I couldn't eat due to my allergy to shrimp. So I went off on him. Our local Chinese spot. I'm picky about fat on meat so I stick with the shrimp and am always happy! The others are not very lean. WARNING the lunch / dinner #s and the dishes do not match. When ordering do so by name NOT number. I've had a 4 meal dinner completely wrong and nothing was done about it when I called :( read more
