We're visiting Baden-Baden with our teen sons. They wanted Chinese food. We went for a weekday lunch. Service was prompt and friendly. One son ordered sweet and sour chicken breast. He loved it. The other son ordered noodles with a combination of meats. He had beef, pork, and chicken in his dish. He was surprised by that lack of vegetables but not at all disappointed in the dish. The teen boys were sharing their food and they both said this one was the best dish of the two. I had the vegetarian Thai red curry with tofu. I asked for it to be made very hot. The waitress confirmed that I did want hot and I assured her that I meant very, very spicy. I got exactly what I asked for. It was delicious and had enough heat to feel the burn in my mouth and in my stomach. That's exactly what I'm looking for with Thai food. Great restaurant, great food, will definitely return on our next trip to Baden-Baden. read more

Die männliche Bedienung war freundlich, die weibliche Bedienung (oder Inhaberin) war extrem unhöflich. Nachdem ich jede Menge Essen und Getränke bestellt hatte bestellte ich noch ein Glas Leitungswasser für meine Tochter. Anstatt uns mitzuteilen, dass sie keines anbieten, sagte die Frau lauthals: "In Deutschland ist das Wasser nicht kostenlos." Selbst als ich sie danach darauf ansprach gab es keine Anzeichen von Einsicht. Als ich nach dem Essen zum bezahlen an die Kasse ging sagte mir die gleiche Frau im selben sehr lauten und unhöflichen Tonfall: "Ihre Karte funktioniert nicht." Ich bat sie die Verbindung ihres Gerätes zu überprüfen, da dies meine EC Karte ist die ich täglich nutzt. Jedoch wiederholte sie sich wieder lauthals bis es dann klappte. Wiederum gab es keine Spur von einer Entschuldigung. Das Essen war einigermaßen ok, obwohl manches eindeutig aus der Tiefkühle kam. Die Erfahrung war sehr enttäuschend ind ich würde aufgrund dieser Behandlung niemandem diese Restaurant empfehlen. read more

There is good Chinese food to be had in Baden Baden. Who knew! Lotus is located in the middle of town. It's by no means fancy, but it's not a dump either and Chinese accents give the otherwise plain space some character. There are tables for dining in but anticipate the possibility of a wait at peak hours. The house special fried duck over vegetables in a white wine sauce was delicious. The staff here worked hard and moved fast to accomodate patrons when we came at a busy time for lunch, and they did so with a smile and thanks for the visit. read more

We noticed this restaurant while walking around and it caught our eyes and noses because the smell coming from the restaurant was amazing! We got four dishes and shared. The noodles are to die for! read more

My wife and son had the duck and I had the chicken noodles. Large portions and well priced. I've never had an egg roll shaped like that, but it was the best egg roll I've ever eaten. read more

As a "Real" Chinese tourist, I have to say this restaurant is a good and quite original restaurant in terms of the taste. The decorations don't really look like Chinese, but the fried noodles and fried rice taste almost same with that in China. Service is good, the price is appealing, and it's quite close to the town center& spring baths. Here is quite perfect for traveller to have the meal! read more
