We went in and got the combo foot, back, head, hand massage. It's a pretty no nonsense place. They prefer cash as others have said but they have an ATM and my friend didn't have a debit card and they accepted her credit card with a fee. You are in the same room with like 8 other people but I really like that because I don't get a lot of massages so it made me feel more comfortable knowing there were other people in there doing the exact same thing. I have been coming to this massage place since 2016, it used to be the very best massage place in town. But the last several times I've come the massages have really been lacking. The people doing the massages used to really get in there. Climb on your back use their elbows whatever it took to get those muscles relaxed anymore. It's like they're barely rubbing the surface no matter how many times you ask them to please rub harder don't be afraid to get in there. I just received what I would consider the absolute best massage I have personally experienced, ever. And I have gotten SO many massages. My masseuse's name is Mike. I'll be asking for him each time I return. Here's why: I woke up with a migraine and could barely function to get out of bed. I hold a lot of tension and stress in my neck and shoulders to the point that it becomes debilitating. Usually I can use a massage gun or tool to address the issue, but this was an extreme case. I needed a targeted massage from a profesh. And Mike delivered. I could tell that in addition to the typical massage, he found the huge knots in my shoulders/trap area and really just went to town on them, using several effective techniques with forearm, elbow, and hands. Without even talking to him, he understood the assignment. What is understood does not need to be spoken. A "normal" massage would not have cut it. It was super fkn painful and agonizing to endure, but oh so necessary. That massage is not for the faint of heart, but it was exactly what I needed. And I think that's what makes a great masseuse--not just going through the routine of a massage but really delivering on what that person needs in particular. The tension and poor circulation in the area melted away. Afterward, I felt such extreme relief and now I feel so so so much better than I did earlier today. Some tips: Call ahead of time to set an appt that day. Wear a loose shirt that you don't mind having the neckline stretched out a little. Ladies, wear a clasp bra. Bring cash. I see these negative reviews because people weren't prepared and boohoo'd about the card fee or having to use their ATM. These places appreciate cash payment and cash tips. Lesson on not judging a book by its cover, because this place is amazing. The storefront is lacking, so is the lobby. Once you check in your brought into a large open room, with dimmed lights and somewhat relaxing music being played. Inside this room are probably about 16 massage chairs. You'll be lead to one chair, instructed to remove your shoes, hike up your pant legs and take off your shirt. Wasn't trying to peak, but some people stripped down more than necessary...so the lesson being, dress appropriately since this is a public room. Your feet will be placed in a basin of hot water. You'll be covered in towels and blankets and then reclined. You'll soon forget that there are other people there (except for the occasional finishing slap) as your masseuse begins massaging your head, face, neck, shoulders and arms. Then, your feet will be dried off, massaged to be followed by your legs. The relaxation is over at that point, because you will then be placed faced down and your masseuse will really work you over. My guy used is whole forearms to work out knots that I didn't even know I had. It's intense and borderline painful, but the relief was almost instantaneous. I went because I was experiencing some non relenting lower back pain that I assumed was sciatic nerve pain. I almost had thrown in the towel and went to one of those snake oil chiropractors because I felt like my lower back needed to be popped. During this experience and other times I've visited here, no communication was needed as the masseuse found the area that needed the most attention without any prompting. I amazingly walked away significantly better and have noticed any residual pain that wasn't already alleviated minutes after the massage, having dissipated greatly in the following days. Also $30 for an hour long massage is a great buy! read more

Honestly, they didn't decorate the building very well, there was no privacy, don't go with pants, they don't speak much English, it IS a FOOT massage place, I wish they focused more on my feet but instead did they did more of my back and a little bit of my head, as I said, there's a language barrier, so it's hard to tell them, my advice, bring a translator app, put it on Mandarin. Massage was mediocre. Once finished, went to pay and the front desk lady who already had a scowl on her face demanded cash. I said I don't carry cash and she directed me to an ATM, which I refused. She took my credit card then told me there would be a $5 service fee for both me AND my husband, $10 total to which I said I can see one service fee but not two as it's one transaction. Then the owner came out yelling in Chinese to her and the entire room of massage people and then yelled at me in English that is the fee. My husband said pay the fee that can be their tip. Then the angry lady demanded a tip. I said I intended to give $10 pp ($45 massage) but since the ridiculous fee I'm only giving $10. She then pointed to a sign on the desk that read "$10 tip pp" to which I said no. The man then scowled at us and began yelling to everyone again in Chinese and pointed to both of us and snatched the credit card receipt. Needless to say, we will never go back. After my massage was over I presented a credit card to pay & the lady at the front desk demanded cash only. I refused based on the fact I was not told that when I made an appointment, saw no sign on the window cash only when I entered the business or informed about that when I walked in. I told them I would pay with my car then the lady ordered me to use their ATM machine & I refused & told them I am using my card then in a nasty tone she says they charge $5 for using the card a fee that was not disclosed on their store front, on their price list or before I used the service. Then demanded a tip. Their behavior is horrific and reminds me so much of a scam & makes me wonder if they are trying to hide assets from the IRS. I've been going to Chinese Foot Massage over the years and after my visit last night, it's just not as good as it used to be. The experience started off good, however the man who was my Massage therapist smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke. When he was massaging my temples and face it's all that I could smell, so that was very unpleasant. Then midway through, he literally squired cold lotion all over my back which made me like tense up and he quickly realized he had made a mistake and tried to rub it all in. (That's like rule #1, you are suppose to put the lotion on your hands first to warm it up). The cleanliness of the overall room wasn't great, it felt it needed a refresh, and smelled stale. At the end of the massage, when I went to pay, since I wasn't very pleased with my subpar massage, they have been much better in the past, I tipped 10%. The man at the front desk and the man who massaged me literally started laughing out loud. Um, rude! Maybe wash your hands next time before your client comes in and you might get a better tip. I hate it when I hype things up (or rather I let myself get hyped up). I wanted to love this place because who doesn't love an hour massage for $30! A good friend visited recently and immediately texted me and our other friends to say we had to go here. The first time we all had a day off together (today), we visited. We had a reservation because there were five of us. (I highly recommend doing this even if you go solo---more about that later though.) We did not have to wait long at all. Let me just start out with the ground rules that my friend schooled us about before our visit. 1. Leave your jewelry at home. No earrings or bracelets or watches. 2. Wear loose closing or workout gear. Wear pants that you can roll up above your knee. 3. Silence is golden here. Even though you're in a communal room, there's no talking or giggling. The giggling ban was a bit hard for us especially when some of the slapping massage sounds occurred and when Brahms' Lullaby came on the soothing music soundtrack. 4. Personally, I would go sans makeup. The face massage rubs most of it off. Now, for what you need to expect and be prepared for: 1. You will be escorted into a darkened room (separated from the lobby/waiting area with an Oriental screen). 2. Once your eyes get used to the dim lights, you will see a large open room with five large chairs (which convert to massage tables) facing each outside wall. 3. A tub of warm water is at the foot of your chair. 4. Take your shoes off, have a seat, place your feet in the tub. 5. The massage will start at the top of your head with a scalp and face massage leading to your upper shoulders. 6. After that your attendant will release the chair and lay you back, remove the tub and prop up your feet and commence with the body massage. 7. Be prepared for a tissue to be placed over your eyes, along with an eye bag and a towel which they will stuff behind your ears. 8. The attendant then starts on your upper arms and forearms before moving to your feet and shins. Be prepared for close proximity. I know it's a massage, but my attendant sat next to me on the chair while he did my arms. 9. Now, your attendant will motion for you to sit up and turn over on your stomach. Be prepared if you are female. They will unhook your bra, roll up your shirt and roll down your pants (just a bit) to expose your back. 10. These are deep tissue massages--be aware. 11. There is a bit of pounding and slapping at the end. 12. At the end, your attendant will say "OK." You are done. 13. Grab your shoes and belongings, brush your hair and remove yourself to the lobby. Some in our party got bottled water. Some had to ask. 14. Preferred payment is cash and tips are expected. I've had plenty of massages in my life and I'm not squeamish. If I had not been told what to expect by my friend who had visited here before me, I don't know if I would have stuck it out. I also don't know if I would have stayed without my girlfriend posse. My friends loved it. I might put a bit of the blame on my attendant who did not talk at all, coughed and belched the entire time, and seemed totally annoyed with the tip that he was hovering for in the lobby. I really hate to sound snarky because all of my friends loved it and I WILL go back with them. And hope I get a different masseuse. I hope my next review can be a 5 star one. Love love love. I have been going here since 2015 and I have never had a bad experience. You can get in same day and it's always relaxing and friendly. I request a female and I always give feedback on pressure ! They will also ask you as they massage too. I have had issues with my neck and I always communicate that to who ever is massaging. Biggest mistake people make here is not communicating your own personal needs! They can't read minds. Great place for an inexpensive (only $35!) 60 minute massage! The name foot massage is misleading because this is a total body massage. It is an unique experience and no doubt different from your typical massage place because you're in a large room with other people and you remain clothed. Massages have always been good quality. I gave it 4 stars mainly for one reason - you get the same massage every time you come here and they don't customize it for one's specific needs. So if you have that one nagging trouble spot you want worked out, this may not be the place for you. But for a relaxing massage to ease those tight muscles, I would definitely recommend! read more

Three words: OH. MY. GOSH. Chinese Foot Massage is Tulsa's best kept secret! Yep, it gets first place in that category. Does Yelp have a "best kept secret" category? My appointment for a one hour full body massage, THAT COST ME ONLY $30, was at 10:00 AM. I walked in right at 10 and they got me to a chair immediately. It was a low-lit room with lots of massage chairs all around. You don't get your own private room: you share with everyone else, but it's quiet and they have peaceful, Zen garden music playing. This was an AMAZING deep-tissue massage. My masseuse was a woman of incredible strength! She began with a facial massage and in 2 minutes I was practically in a coma. Every bit of muscle she worked on went instantly into relaxation. I think she even crawled on top of me and was digging her knees into my back at one point. The whole experience was so heavenly, I didn't even care that they were playing a midi file of Pachelbel's Canon as mood music. She didn't speak much English, only "Is ok?" and "You tight" but that was good enough for me because my jaw, mouth, and willpower had been completely disabled by her magical, mystical massage powers. So "Chinese Foot Massage" is kind of a misnomer. Yeah, they do reflexology & foot massage (and they're pros at it) but you can get a full body massage there too. Did I mention that it's only $30 for an hour??? However, part of your full body massage will include a foot massage. The morning I went, I was a bit reluctant to get a full body massage, having a LOT of the remainders of the wine from the previous night still in my system, and my stomach was sloshing around, threatening to lurch out of my mouth at any point. However, fascinatingly, when that lady was massaging the arch of my foot, ALL of the stomach funk vanished completely. All of it! Later, when I was studying a reflexology chart, I saw that the arch of the foot is directly related to the small intestine!! Coincidence? Maybe. But if not, so much for thinking reflexology is for weirdos. One last thing. The reason I booked my massage is because I have had a tight spot in my left shoulder for days and nothing has worked on it. Let me tell you something, don't go in there thinking you can tell your body's life story to these people because chances are, they will not be able to understand you. But TRUST THEM. They will find your painful spots without you even saying anything. This lady went straight to my shoulder. I have no idea how she knew. She spent more time on it than she spent on anything else. I was a skeptic at first but now, I make excuses to come here. First off, no, it's not creepy and it isn't something weird or scary. Second off, don't let the name confuse you, this isn't JUST a foot massage, this is a full body, hour long, intense massage. The soak your feet, they work on your face, arms, feet, legs, back, and neck. There is no reason to feel awkward or embarrassed, this place in incredibly professional. Thirdly, be prepared and dress accordingly. Women and men, wear shorts or loose pants that can be rolled up to your knees. They will be massaging your calves and this will help them. Women, wear a tank top or loose shirt with a bra that snaps in the back. When they flip you over to work on your back, they will unhook your bra DON'T BE ALARMED. They do this to get solid motions on your back without interference of an annoying bra. It does make your massage much better. They will hook it back when their done. Plus you're covered with a towel 90% of the time. Men, it's not uncommon to see men of all shapes and sizes take theirs off. I only envy this because, well, I can't haha. The massage takes place in a dim-lit room with about twenty chairs full of people getting the same treatment as you are. No one is looking. Theres soft music playing to help you drift off into a meditation or fall asleep as some do. At the end of the massage, they will give you a bottle of water. This place is awesome and definitely hidden among this great little city. Upon entry I thought maybe I was the only one there, I was greeted and told to wait a moment. My wait was brief and they lead me back to Heaven. They took me to a large room with probably 15 massage chairs, where to my surprise I was not alone! It is just that serene and quiet, which I loved. They have tranquil music playing, a lot of nature sounds, I dug it. The few chairs next to me were empty but half way through when I opened my eyes only to discover someone had been sat beside me and they were working away on them and I had never even noticed. Allen, my masseur did a wonderful job of keeping me covered throughout the massage. A perfect magician was he! I came in there with terrible interscapular pain and I never said a word, (probably two the entire time; ie thank you) and he spent A LOT of time in that area, he must have felt it with his hands which is pure talent to me. First was the face massage, which kind of turns into a head/neck session. Then onto arms, feet, legs and finally back. Not only does massage occur but stretching as well, it's all magical, I even dozed off for a minute. (oops!) And every time I thought he was gonna say I was done, he did something else. Almost never ending, how fantastic! I had somewhat of the wrong idea going into this place, even with all the great detailed reviews. I think the main thing that got me was the fact that we'd be in chairs. But really the chairs are just massage beds. You can try walking in for an appt, but call ahead if you can. You are in a big room, with several other people, but the lights are dim, and you'll quickly forget that anybody else is around. If you strip down to your shorts and cami/sports bra you will get a real live, full body massage. Your feet will be soaked, and you will be pummeled and slapped (OK ..gently on the legs) into oblivion. Some of the therapists are better than others, and you will no doubt find a favorite and be able to book ahead with him/her in the future....or just take pot luck, you really can't lose. This is a no-nonsense serious, get down to it massage. The worst that can happen is that the person next to you starts to snore. And one of the very best things is that the therapist will not attempt to chat with you (my pet peeve). You're going to thank me for this, I just know it. Chinese Foot Massage is so relaxing, but a very interesting experience. The name is somewhat misleading. They do give you a foot massage, but you also get a full body massage for an hour. The women leave their clothes on and men are required to take off their shirts. I wear a t-shirt and shorts, so that they can massage with moving all my clothes. I have been multiple times, and each time the massage is different. The pressure varies, but you can always tell them if you want anything different. I always make an appointment and ask for a woman. They take your phone number for the reservation, so don't be alarmed. During the massage, you are in a room with about 20 other people. The lights are dim and there is music playing. I fall asleep each time, but there is some chatter from other customers. You get a cold water on your way out. It is very professional. I always make sure to tip in cash. read more

I love this place. It's not a traditional massage spa. The layout is completely different. I was very skeptical at first, but I'm so glad I gave it a try! For $30 an hour, how could I not? The "foot massage" is actually a full body massage. It takes place in a dim-lit single room lined with a dozen or so chairs on each wall. Although everyone is being massaged at once, they conveniently cover your eyes when you're on your back so it never feels like your in a room full of people. Plus, the massage is so great that you are entranced and don't even remember that there are other people in the room. The last couple of weeks my feet have been really hurting so I googled Chinese Foot Massage, thinking how wonderful a nice long foot massage would be. I came across Liz C.'s Yelp review. If you want to know how I feel Liz nailed it.. This place is a gem. Not only did they massage my feet, but it was pretty much a full body deep tissue massage. Oh, it was wonderful! Now it is a bit different than a spa massage, as you are in a large open dimly lit room with quite a few other people being massaged. You don't disrobe so if you decide to give it a try I would suggest wearing loose fitting clothes. Your top is lifted to expose your back and he unsnapped my bra ( didn't bother me at all). Also I just want to for warn you that the massage I had was a DEEP tissue (or pressure points) and may hurt some. I love a deep massage, one that almost hurts, if you don't, you might want to skip this type of massage or tell them ahead of time to go easy. Anyway, it was right up there with some of the best massages I have had and I have had quite a few over the years, at a fraction of the cost $35 for a full hour. I took my girlfriend here for a Valentine's Day treat and definitely am a fan. This was our first experience with the Chinese foot massage style. It's a full body treatment where you lay on a bed in a common room but you're not paying attention to anybody else. To top it off it was the best massage I have gotten besides a $200 massage. Band for your buck is here.
