I was just trying to enjoy my meal without sweating like I was training for a marathon. Maybe it was the section we were seating at? We ordered a few dishes: the Khachapuri was good, but I've definitely had better--even right here in the same city. The sage lemonade was an interesting twist; I'll give them points for trying something new. The Chanakhi, on the other hand, was tough and loaded with connective tissue--trying to break it apart was a battle. We also asked for a side of grilled vegetables, which were... fine, but let's just say they didn't leave a lasting impression. Auntie Lali's Harcho and Kharcho soups were decent; the soup itself was enjoyable, but nothing to write home about. By the end of dinner, we were a little disappointed, so we figured we'd give dessert a go. We ordered the Millefeuille. It arrived, and before I could even blink, my husband had somehow inhaled the entire thing in one bite. His bites aren't 'that' big, but the dessert was 'that' small. He liked it though. Overall, I wouldn't return. It was a bit overhyped, and there are other Georgian spots in town where you'll leave feeling genuinely satisfied. Take a detour and check them out instead!

What a sight for the weary and voraciously hungry individuals craving a hearty meal! We had first come to know a bit about Georgian cuisine during our last year's visit to Wroclaw, as there was a Georgian street food restaurant we tried. We knew that we were in for a treat! The restaurant is cozy and nicely decorated. I loved that they had comfortable booths with nice cushions to sit in or tables with chairs if you prefer. We opted for a booth and we had ample space for all the food we ordered! Our server (I regret not knowing her name), from Georgia, was very friendly and helpful and took time to explain what the menu items we were curious about were. There are pictures for each item on the menu but for the English speaker, the ingredients may be a mystery. She was very patient and offered suggestions for us which we appreciated. After deliberating, we settled on a few types of casserole dishes, typical bread, and the Georgian style pierogis (yes, that is what they are called on the menu). The casserole styled meals (in a hot piece of pottery fresh out the oven) come with a puffy hollow round bread to sop up the goodness, I'd imagine. The dishes all had complex spice profiles, were tasty, and seemed to have quality ingredients. The casseroles were loaded with a thick toping of glorious cheese. The man helping us at the end of our meal spoke limited English but could understand us just fine and was friendly and helpful! The restaurant itself had a nice feel to it and the WC was very clean. In addition, patrons of the restaurant were very amiable and greeted us. I highly recommend this place. Go try something new or out of your comfort zone. I enjoyed the ambiance and my experience here very much. **Note, its on a semi-main road where the metro travels (above ground) and we were on foot so I do not know about parking) I do know Line 26 goes here.

I'm not impressed. I came here spontaneously and the moment I sat down and looked through the menu,…read moreI felt like leaving (but I didn't because I felt embarrassed). For starters - the prices are absolutely ridiculous and the owners should be ashamed of themselves. Taking the location into consideration, this place shouldn't charge 30+ pln for a dish. It's not that kind of a place. But since I felt too embarrassed to stand up and walk out, I decided to order pielmieni, a type of pierogies, but Russian. They differ from Polish pierogies by size (pielmieni are at least half the size of regular Polish pierogies) and are traditionally served in broth with a size of Russian mustard and/or cream. For the price of 23 pln, I got in a bowl of ridiculously overpriced pielmieni that I am going to rate as "meh, I've had better". They were average, mediocre.. And the broth was close to tasteless and looked borderline nasty. I also ordered a glass of their house wine since they had Georgian wines available and the price listed on the menu was 11 pln. So I was slightly surprised when I got my check and the wine was listed as 13 pln. Not cool. The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars instead of just one is the fact that their menu, despite the ridiculous prices, offers a unique blend of far Eastern European and Caucasian cuisine as well as the fact that the waitress seemed nice and did her job properly (aside from not mentioning that the wine was more expensive than stated in the menu..) You can pay by card and the place is located right next to the "Nowolipki" tram station on Jana Pawła II. Be aware of the fact that the radio is kind of loud and the music goes from being traditional Slavic sung in Russian to regular Western mainstream pop songs. I won't be coming back.

Here, that means the Ukraine, Russia, Azerbaijan, etc. The waitress was quite attentive, and the place was fairly packed - though it *is* small. There was outdoor seating too, though we opted out because it was raining. Ambiance and service I'd give a 4.5/5. I ordered plow (pronounced pl-oh-v) from one of the -stan countries: it was like a cross between paella and Moroccan cous-cous. It was a bit greasy for me, didn't really resemble the photo on the sign, and my husband claimed the lamb tasted like pork, but I was content with it. He ordered a meat pasty, which was bigger than he expected, and an order of dumplings called masty. The beer was decent, he said. Overall, I'd give the food a 3.5/5.
