My wife had the lasagne for her entree, I had seafood. My wife said her lasagne was different from the last place she had it a couple days earlier in Bologna, but no less spectacular. I agreed, and my seafood was nothing less. The ambiance on a quiet side street (maybe in the Jewish quarter) was a great way to enjoy a Bolognese night.

We ordered Tortellini Bolognesi a Placere with cream sauce and the veal cutlet layered with ham and cheese (I forget the actual name of it) and the food was absolutely delicious. Two of us shared both the pasta dish and the meat dish and it was more than enough food for both of us. Neither of us speak Italian but the waitress was delightful and did an excellent job in answering all of our questions regarding menu items. We'll be in Bologna for 2 more days and will definitely go back to this restaurant.

The meat looks appealing and is their signature but don't bother. Prices are very reasonable. Worth a visit for sure.

We ordererd steak all over Tuscany none compared to this. The pasta .... Wow... Al dente but soft filling with an incredible cream sauce and a crispy guanciale that elevated the dish to perfection. I enjoyed the food, but it wasn't anything special. However, given the limited selection of American food in Bologna, this place was good. They have a decent veggie burger that I was happy with and the one time I ordered a decked-out affogato type drink, it was amazing. I would recommend coming here, but not if you are in Bologna for a very limited time; there are plenty of better restaurants to visit while here.

The menu was definitely an interesting mix of typical diner fare as well as hot dogs, BBQ, and Tex-Mex. My husband had the "big breakfast" with pancakes, bacon, sausage, and french fries. He wasn't a huge fan of it; I tried a bite of the pancake and it was extremely sweet, like it literally tasted as sweet as cake. I had the California burrito which was, to me, more of a grilled wrap with a little guacamole on the side. Overall I may be biased since I'm from the US, but it was just okay.
