This time we spent some time taking different proposals before hiring. JT seemed very buttoned up and competitive from a price standpoint when they came to create a proposal, but you never really know until the work is done. Right from Day 1 it was clear that JT was the best we have worked with. They showed up on time, were prepared to work, had enough people there to do the job, and more importantly they were polite, friendly and professional. The job took 3 days, which is less than what they promised. Every day they left the space clean and habitable. Now that the work is finished, I can say without question that JT is the best we have seen. The work looks great, no mess left behind and no lingering issues to deal with, within budget and done early. Great job and highly recommended. We will call them first for any future work.

After I missed one day, I was let go, which is one thing, but then I was told I would NOT be paid for Monday and Tuesday that I had already worked. The owner texted me, "Thanks for donating your time Monday and Tuesday," and then said, "I'm not paying someone who just fucked us over." I posted the screenshots of the entire conversation, so there's no confusion about what was said. Being upset that someone missed a day does not suddenly make two completed days of labor a "donation." Incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional way to handle someone who had been working for you. I'd seriously think twice before working for this company or trusting how they conduct business. Very shady company and very shady stuff goes on job sites. Think twice before having them in your house as well. They threaten, and use money to hide bad reviews so you will think it's an amazing company.

Mike was transparent with his pricing and really helped me keep cost down by finding a quality fan at a decent price to install. Evan, the owner, responded quickly to my request for a quote. He seemed very professional, and I hired him on the spot. His reviews were good. On the first day he and his crew were here, they did a lot of prep work, such a taping and tarping my hardwood floor. I was quite impressed. They did a good job painting the walls, to a point. I did a cursory inspection after they were done and thought all was good. When I was cleaning my floor of plaster dust, I noticed several things. First, the way they put the tarps on my hardwood floor did not protect them very well. When they painted the ceiling, little flecks of paint dotted my floor. It took me twice as long to clean my floor, gently using a putty knife to scrape off paint flecks. I also became aware of spots on certain walls that the roller/paint brush did not touch. I was not happy. Also, a second coat was missed on a small wall. I contacted the owner of Super Painters. He came over, and we went over everything that needed to be done to complete the job. He said he would be here the next day to finish. He was a no show. I called him, he apologized, and we set up a new day and time. The next appointment came and AGAIN, a no show. I texted him, and no reply whatsoever. The next day, I called him directly. He did not answer his phone or text me. I left him a message that I was unhappy for his not keeping his word and not completing the work that I had paid in full for. Evan talks the talk, but doesn't walk the walk. He promised me he would do a great job, but never finished. We set up appointments that he didn't keep. He didn't respond to my text or phone call. Evan is not responsible. Do not hire him.
