I've been going to this location on an almost weekly basis for five years. This location has never had great customer service, but it never bothered me too much because I mostly just care about the food. But the last few times I've come here, the customer service has been absolutely horrible. So bad that even I might have to stop coming here. The kids that work here are so rude and unprofessional. Just a couple of weeks ago, I saw a guy go up to the counter and complain that the chicken was too spicy. He wasn't yelling or anything like that; he was being nice about it. Just saying that he couldn't eat the chicken because it was too spicy. One of the girls behind the counter laughed and said, "This n*gga really gonna come to Chipotle and complain about the spice!" She said it right in front of his face. She didn't even say it quietly, she said it right out loud where everyone can hear it. I couldn't believe she said that. Fortunately, one of the guys behind the counter apologized to the customer for the chicken being too spicy and he got him some steak instead. Like I said, I've been coming here for years and I've never seen this kind of unprofessionalism from the Branford Chipotle until very recently. Kid asking for all customers to pay cash for tips and taking 30 mins to make one customers order while a line is waiting I got in there at 955 left at 1035 with two people in front of me. I placed my order through GrubHub. This was my first, and last time doing so. The employees are young, and don't care about the quality of their work. My order was specific, and they messed up royaly. One of two burritos was correct. The Barbacoa was correct, the Carnitas didn't have any chicken, pork at all. It was just beans and rice! This was for dinner. After I contacted GrubHub on their chat, they refunded part of the order. It's sad how the lack luster quality will be their downfall. I told them to fire employees if they want to stay in business. They were cleaning up when I got there, and I believe they shoveled remnants, scraps into the burrito hoping that I would be unaware of what they did. They should never disrespect a paying customer, who keeps them in business and pays their wages. I will have second thoughts next time that I want Mexican food. I will use local from now on. I've been to the Brantford chipotle several times and it always looks like there's been a food fight inside. The tables are dirty. The floor is dirty every surface where customers touch is full of smears and chunks of food. Today I stopped in for a late lunch I was the only person in line. The one person making items was helping someone ahead of me. So one of the many other workers came to the counter, put on plastic gloves and and struck up a conversation with another worker who was about to eat lunch. So ignoring me, he started making a meal for his coworker. I asked him if I was invisible. He said no I'm just getting something for my friend. So I said that I must be invisible and walked out. I do enjoy the food at chipotle, but I won't put up with the filthy store and being ignored. Never going there again. This location never opens on time. I've been locked outside after pre ordering at all hours of the day. It's strange that it's happened 3 different times and the employees just give you a dirty look while you're trying to get in. This was at 11am once and twice in the afternoon. Further the portions are not consistent, burritos are wet and ripped every time despite their size or ingredients (I've tried to alter my order to stop it from happening). The worst experience to date. My order was placed at 6:20pm and stated as ready for pick up at said time. We were early 6:18pm and the order was not ready until 6:50pm. Over a half hour wait and one burrito was missing protein. Save yourself the trip and dont waste your time or money. read more

The Branford Chipotle has got to be the worst I've ever been to. When you order online, the order is never ready when the app says it is. I recently had an order in which the pork carnitas tacos were full of large pieces of fat. I couldn't eat them because they were so disgusting. My daughter's Barbados bowl was missing all of the toppings we ordered but they put on a topping she didn't order which she doesn't like. The kids crispy tacos were soft shell instead. I submitted a complaint to the Chipotle website and they offered me BOGO coupons. I told them I didn't want them because I don't plan on going back there in the next 30 days and wanted a refund. They said they wouldn't refund and offered different coupons, still good for 30 days. Terrible customer service. Will never go to any Chipotle ever!! read more

My husband is on a specific diet so he goes to Chipotle about 5-6 times per week. Each time he goes the amount he requested (double meat & veggies) of food either they never have what he wants or they always just give him the smallest portion. Well today I went with him at 7pm, this location closes at 10pm! They had no barbacoa, steak was dry, I had to ask them to refill the chicken as it only had a few pieces in it. They had about 4-5 employees and it was not busy. They had no corn of mild sauce for the rest of the night. He area where the food is kept was messy. The employee looked like he did not want to work and cared less of the service he provided. At check out the cashier didn't even listen to what I was asking for and just rushed me to pay. Again if it was 9/930 pm I understand why your tray would be close to being empty but not when you still have 3 hours left. The kitchen manager needs to step up and pay attention to what needs refill. I am highly upset and disappointed. I write the this review standing in line. the same line I have been stood in for 25 minutes. I'm still likely another 10/15 mins way from service. Chipotle, hire more staff!! Somehow, despite the line going past the entrance and around a corner, we have one person working the food line, a girl doing what seems like nothing stood in the kitchen, (now she's disappeared) a clearly stoned guy with a ginger beard that has no idea what he's doing on the register, and one small kid working his ass off. Looks like one kid doing the business and the rest could care less. It's not the staffs fault if they don't have enough help, I blame Chipotle mainly. But there is still a distinct lack of giving a shit going on with most of the staff. read more

This was the first time I've ever been to any Chipotle restaurant. I had no idea what to expect, but I'd been on the Chipotle website to search their vegan options and I knew I wanted the sofritas burrito. They loaded my burrito up with sofritas, cilantro lime rice, black beans, fajita veggies, and guacamole. I was pretty shocked when my total for one burrito came to $10.79. I took my food to go. On my drive home, I thought the taste of that burrito better be AMAZING to justify $10.79. Well, the burrito was pretty amazing, I have to say. I make a lot of different burritos at home but never have I made any as good as the sofritas burrito from Chipotle. Flavor of the food - 5 stars. Everything else, meh. I'll continue to make burritos at home. I can make like 16 burritos at home for the price of one at Chipotle. On the other hand, next time I'm in a pinch and I have to buy a quick lunch, the vegan sofritas burrito from Chipotle will be at the top of my list. read more

If I could leave a zero star I would , so I went into here last night because I wanted a bowl I've been to other chipolte restaurants before , napkins and food all over the tables and floor line out the door I was like I'm here let me just try . I ordered a chicken bowl but low and behold out of chicken , then out of steak , I had to get the brisket which was actually very good I asked to pay for double meat which was a joke they charged me for two complete bowl and the amount of meat was not extra at all but ok , the service was slow with 12 people lined up you would think someone else would help the worker preparing food but nope . I sat down to eat I had to clean the table myself with my hand because you didn't have any napkins and the idea of putting forks out was just tossing the entire box on the counter ! I left this review on Google and now I'm going to leave it here as well. This specific location consistently skimps on ingredients and "forgets" to give you your entire order. They've done this numerous times before with my pick-up orders, but at this point I need to call it out because it's ridiculous. This time they honestly had no excuse because there was no foot traffic since they had just opened the doors a few mins prior. I ordered extra cheese, tomatillo salsa and used the double protein promo they have going on, and what I got was a sprinkle of cheese, a regular portion of chicken and a dry bowl because they forgot the salsa. If I'm paying for it or have a promo for it, I fully expect my bowl to include everything I've asked for. Shouldn't be that hard. So now I'll start driving out of the way to go to a different chipotle further out. Come on, guys. Do better. read more

No wifi - I go to restaurants like this to work during lunch. That means I need WiFi for my laptop. I was surprised that such a "modern" place doesn't have Wi-Fi. Not only that, but the AT&T cellular reception there is almost nonexistent so I couldn't use the hotspot on my phone. This is not so much of a review of Chipotle as it is a review of Steve. I come here every now and then on my lunch break. I'm a pioneer in the automotive industry. A lot to keep hush hush. No big deal. Anyway, I walked into the place and I was greeted by someone I would later find out was a blessing from the heavens above. Now my usual order is a bowl with double chicken. Most of the time I get 1.5x the chicken. Not today. Steve gave me two absolute unit servings of chicken. My eyes began to tear as I had never seen anything so beautiful. Next I asked for extra sour cream. Again, I'm used to the littlest bit more. But would Steve do that to me? Absofuckinglutely not. My boy might has well have poured half the container into my bowl. And if you know well, I'm a dirty little whore for sour cream. After all the ingredients were added, Steve could barely fit the lid on this masterpiece of a bowl he sculpted. I cried my eyes out after eating because I knew I would never have a meal as masterfully prepared as this one was. Listen to me close Chipotle, you must protect Steve at all costs. I would give my life for him at this point. If he's not the executive general manager in the next 6 months I will have protests outside the establishment. Today i ordered online and by the time i got my food it was cold, and the bowl my food was in was falling apart from how soggy it was. when i opened my bowl it was entirely liquid: sour cream, hot sauce, guacamole. there appeared to be half a scoop of rice and a quarter scoop of beans. items that were listed in my bowl weren't actually in it. once i got home i microwaved my food in attempt to reheat it and got myself a spoon because i was unable to use a fork. read more

This chipotle continues to disappoint. They are always out of stock of basic toppings and the staff is impolite and disorganized. On multiple occasions they have been out of veggies, and as someone who does not get meat in their entrees, this is very disappointing. Today they were out of veggies, certain salsas and guacamole. In addition, they are inconsistent with their proportions and as for to go orders, I have been given the wrong meal and have had ingredients missing from my bowl without being informed. First time we've ever been to a Chipotle chain restaurant. We both got burrito bowls and thought they were great! Food tasted so fresh. I got the carnitas and my husband got the chicken. Protein was moist & flavorful. We topped our bowls with pico de gallo, queso sauce, beans, guacamole, sour cream, & corn salsa. Servers were friendly & wait wasn't long. Inside furniture was terribly uncomfortable! Super hard chairs, like from classrooms! Awful. We would eat here again but definitely take it to go because unfortunately it's just THAT uncomfortable to sit there. read more
