They do have outdoor seating available during warmer weather. I placed my online order and reached the store in 15 minutes. The order was ready, and there was no delay. The place is well maintained. However, I feel this store ingredients are not to fresh level compared to others. But located in a main area, this is OK. read more

I'm not quite sure why people still go to this location. If anything it should be CLOSED. I have had 2 horrible incidents there. I have been there a couple times before just out of convenience in being in the area. Im a 5 ft 90 lb girl and one time the employee scooped up a total of 5 cubes of steak in my bowl. When I asked for a bit more , the guy looked up at me as if I asked him to commit a crime then proceeded to scoop the smallest amt of steak possible but accidentally scooped too much so he poured them back until there were 2 pieces. read more

I swore off chipotle by my old work in west Chester. For some reason I chose to try again. Mistake. Both times the tables have been dirty, covered with excess food. Both times the service area looked like a hurricane hit it. First time they had to wait for non cilantro rice, second time none available. I got half serving brown rice because I couldn't see much in it. Google it! Cilantro is gross to some people. Place is totally understaffed. Both times only one person making the burritos. For starters, I had placed a mobile order 20 minutes before arriving at chipotle. there were three workers all in there talking as my ticket sat on the counter waiting to be filled. The cashier was wearing headsets while ringing us in. Turned around to find a place to sit. The tables and floor were filthy. Had to ask an employee to clean a table for us. He chose one and left the rest with trash. Went to get my drink. There was trash on the drink station and all over the floor. There was no ice. Glad to be finished, I walked out and the trash cans were full. This location should be an embarrassment to the Chipotle name. read more

Writing this review as I watch people ahead of me in line opt to leave rather than continue to wait and order. As I type this, the manager has been offering another employee her perspective on a customer who had placed a catering order and was "so rude" because they did not receive the 4 large orders of chips/guacamole they'd paid for. Not sure why she needs to express her thoughts so loud while the line is at a standstill waiting for her to put gloves on, but here we are. It's been 20 minutes since I got here and staff has made the decision to begin to process mobile orders that are behind, so we continue to wait. I understand there's a hiring shortage, reliable staff are hard to find, all the typical excuses. I placed a mobile order at 5:30 and was told my order would be ready by 5:55-6:00. I entered chipotle at 6 and told them I received a text stating my order was ready. I gave them my name and they said it wasn't ready. I waited 10 minutes. Gave them my name again, still wasn't ready. 20 minutes go by. At this point, it's been almost an hour since I placed the order. People who were at the back of the line when I got there had came, placed their order and left with their food. I'm also visibly pregnant at 30 weeks, holding my 30lb son who's crying. The worker gets someone else's food, and asks my name again. When I tell him, he grabs a bag that had been sitting there the entire time I was there. I even asked him earlier what the bags behind him were, and he said oh they're nothing. After all that, they forgot the sides and drink for my son. This is the second experience I've had like this at Exton Chipotle. We will not be back. read more

I can't believe I'm having to review a Chipotle, but my experience at this location has been so consistently bad that it seems necessary. Something has occurred in the management of this location during the last year that has completely ruined this location. 1) it's always a filthy mess. The food debris across the counter is a huge turn off and can't be sanitary. It looked like a hurricane hit when I was the last night. There was no effort made to wipe the counters 2) the food orders are never correct. Last night my quesadilla orders did not come with any of the sides. Went here the other day for lunch. Haven't been to this location in a really long time but needed a quick lunch. They were out of beans and regular salsa. How is this possible?? Let me start by saying this: I downloaded yelp and created an account just so I could leave a review on this place. If you would like to know what the word incompetence means, I highly advise coming here. One of the employees was mocking the customers and acting like an absolute clown. I would compare the experience here similar to seeing your grandma naked while eating dog feces. Here are just a few problems: 1. The quality of service sucks. There are a couple good eggs which deserve credit, but "May the odds be ever in your favor" with that. Because you'll most likely end up with some nincompoop. 2. If you order online, they will mess you your order. And you can take that and your sorry butt (if for some reason you hate yourself and come here) to the stinkin bank. And even if you order in front of them, the employees generally pay so little attention that they will probably mess that up too. Oh, you think I just had one bad experience? This is not a location that we usually go to, but we were early for an eye appointment. The customer service was horrible. I walked in with my daughter and saw no one. I walked up to order and 3 individuals walk to the front speaking loudly and using profane language. One person had on their gloves and was watching a video which seemed inappropriate, but perhaps it was work related. The display counter was pure dirty. No wipe downs had been done. That alone made me want to leave, but I promised my child some Chipotle today, and I do take into consideration that lunch hours may be busy, although we arrived at 2. As I was placing my order I mistakenly said guacamole (I'm used to ordering that for myself). I said no, once I realized and she asked did I want it all the side. I said yes so that I would still pay for it even though it wouldn't be used because this was for my child. The young woman who was assisting me went on to mutter, "but you didn't say that. She didn't say that. She said guac, so that's what I did." Shaking her head and making a scene. It made me very uncomfortable and I said that I did not want the food at all. I was never rude. This was an honest mistake, but this type of customer service should not be tolerated. It's clear the management in there has no control or doesn't care about representation. I've never been in a Chipotle and experienced this type of behavior. I don't think I've been to any establishment in Exton and experienced this. Not to mention. This is the worst Chiptole I have been to in the Philadelphia area. I can deal with expensive food. I can deal with bad service. I can deal with small portions. But this place manages to have all three. After having been here multiple times, I had to write a review, as after paying, the cashier (tall, blonde girl) threw my food onto the counter before walking into the back. Once I got home I realized the lid either came open after it was thrown or was not properly sealed, and it spilled all over the bag/out of the bowl. Clearly, there's a managerial and/or staffing issue here. Every Chiptole features the same menu, same food options, and same interior 'vibe'. I would avoid this location if at all possible. I went there for dinner this past weekend with my girlfriend (11/12/21) there was about 9-10 people in front of us, but it took almost 45 minutes to get our food. For whatever reason, there were only two employees working, and only one was making food. The 2nd employee was ringing people up and cleaning up the kitchen (which was odd because it was 8pm and they close at 10pm). After waiting over 30 minutes to order, we discovered they were out of a TON of ingredients (meats, guacamole, and a couple other items) I couldn't order what I wanted due to this but ordered anyway since we had waited so long already. After our food was waited a bit for the 2nd employee to come back to ring us up as she was in the back cleaning. When we went to go sit down we discovered that there were no napkins; no forks/spoons/knives, no hot sauce, and some of the fountain drink options were empty. Went back up to ask for some napkins and utensils, they took a while, then when we went to sit down every single table in the restaurant was filthy, I'm not joking when I say EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. It looked like they hadn't been cleaned in hours, every single trash can was overflowing. I felt really bad for the employees, they were very friendly and our food was very good, but I could see they were visibly very stressed. Can chock the whole situation up to very poor management; if you do not have enough employees to open your restaurant, do not open your restaurant, plain and simple. For example, I ordered a burrito bowl with steak, white rice, vegetables, salsa, extra corn, cheese, sour cream, and guacamole on the side. The bowl I received had chunks not cubes of steak, salsa, lettuce (not ordered) and black beans (not ordered). It did not have vegetables, cheese, sour cream, or any corn. Guacamole was placed on top, not on the side as requested. A few years ago, my family loved this Chipotle. Now, it's absolutely awful. Several times our online orders were not ready even after allowing two hours to complete. They told us to get in line. We have ordered the same three bowls every other week.
