Avoid this location. Tonight I placed an order that was supposed to be ready at 7:40pm. I arrived and immediately had a staff member yell that they were only taking online orders. (That's been the case the last 3 times I've been here) I waited about 10 minutes then heard the girl in front of me say that she was still waiting on her order from 6:30pm. At about 7:55pm I went up to the counter and asked the girl working if they were over an hour behind on their orders and she assured me they were not and they were working on the orders from 7:30-7:40. At 8:15 I checked some of the bags that came out from the back and they were for 'promised time 6:30pm'. Over an hour wait past the time promised is crazy for chipotle. There was no communication of this to the people waiting either so nobody has any idea how long they will be waiting. I love Chipotle. I could eat it everyday but this location is absolutely disgusting. I came in at opening and it clearly was not cleaned the night before. The floors and tables are filthy. There was no clean space to sit and eat. You can see food all over the floor in the back. The food prep area was a disaster and not cleaned. The staff was at least very nice. read more

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Came to this location. Was told they were doing online orders only. Okay, I understand. I placed my order as did another 5-6 people that came in after me. Ten minutes later a track and field team with 24 people in total came in and were allowed to order in person. They were placed ahead of the rest of us as we stood by waiting for our food. My husband and I decided to get dinner here after seeing a TON of commercials that day. We used the app to order ahead because its a full 30 minute drive from us. Ordered, got confirmation for pickup at 7:15pm. Headed out with our son, for a nice family drive. Arrived, and my husband waited for our order until 7:30....when it still wasn't ready he decided to approach the cashier to inquire and show her the confirmation. The manager snaps at my husband to STAND BACK because he was over this green line on the floor. To be fair, the cashier couldn't hear him between the 10 others waiting, people ordering, and masks. Fine, ok,.....so after showing them our confirmation they tell us they dont even have our order in their system, and to go wait in the long line to REORDER what we should have had already...So my husband gets in line....and try's to reorder. They were out of pinto beans, lettuce, fajita veggies, and we got the bottom of the tin of chicken which was very burned and chewy. When my husband asked "ok well do you have more coming out?" the guy making his food scoffed, begrudgingly looked around, and said "naw". JEEZ thanks for the effort....this location was still open for another 2.5 hrs.....how are you planning on serving the huge line of people until close? I told my husband to get a receipt and the name of the rude manager. They rang my husband up and said "don't worry we wont charge you for this." .....DAMN RIGHT YOU WONT, we already paid for this food! When we looked at the receipt with what we actually got, we WOULD have been charged $24 but what we originally ordered and paid for was $32.....we left FINALLY with our food a full hour after our pickup time with LESS food than we paid for. Between that and the rude attitude of the staff AND manager, I will NEVER give Chipotle my money again. I'll be at Moe's if anyone needs a quick burrito bowl. read more

Used the online ordering because i was on my work break. I ordered a salad with multiple toppings. I picked up my order drove back to work, opened it up and it was a rice bowl! I was so disappointed. And i didnt even get all the toppings i had wanted for my salad with my rice bowl. I re-read my receipt and it indeed said a salad. There was water constantly dripping from the ceiling diffuser directly into the chicken. Pretty sure that's a health violation. The bathroom reeked. The stench was unbearable, enough to make you puke. As much as I wanted to escape the bathroom, my hands were covered in soap and the sink stopped working. It would drizzle for 0.1 second. I ordered online for quick pick up last night. My order wasn't even ready when I arrived 15 minutes after my scheduled pick up. When I pointed it out to the cashier, he replied, "Oh well. It happens." I asked to speak to a manager and he apologized. I asked how he intended to compensate me and he offered chips or a drink, which I expressed I felt wasn't really compensation, he replied, "Well, it's only 15 minutes late, so I can only offer you something small." At the Exton location the food is consistently delicious, and even if there's a long line it never takes more than a few minutes to get to the front and order. The assembly line style of creating your made to order meal is a well honed machine that works fast and efficiently and has never messed up an order yet no matter how many meals of different varieties I ask for. Something I can't say for Taco Bell even when I order something as simple as a soft taco supreme. I would have given it a 5th star, but feel this location skimps a little on the meat. I've been to some that pile it on, but I've been to some that are very slow so thus far I prefer Exton to the others in the Philly 'burbs. read more

Upon your first trip to Chipotle you might be slightly confused by their menu. But it's intuitive and efficient and after a few minutes in line (there will be a line if you are there during prime lunch hour) you'll figure it out. Once you pick the vessel for the goodies, you are greeted by an assembly line of goodness. Two kinds of rice, two kinds of beans, salsas, cheeses, meats. Everything is very fresh and delicious. The food is also a great value. The three tacos or (giant) burrito come in under $7 and are very hard to finish in one sitting. You won't leave hungry! It's also very fast. From the time it takes to order until you've paid is usually under a minute or two. If you get the smartphone app, you can order ahead and avoid the line, which will speed things up even more. With Chipotle around, it's a wonder why or how Taco Bell still exists. read more

Of the two Chipotle's in the WC/Exton area, this is definitely the busier of the two! In general this Chipotle is always very clean, and although they will typically have a line, the are usually well staffed and the line will move along quickly. This Chipotle also allows for online ordering so that you can pick up and skip the line. If I had a criticism (really for all Chipotle's) it's that you can only order things as they have it defined on the menu. For example, if you wanted an extra taco, you couldnt order it, you'd have to order the meal with 3. When you order online, they do allow you to order individually, so it doesnt make sense to not offer the same thing in the store. With the exception of that, this is a nice place. My recommendation: go for the chicken burrito bowl or the taco's! read more

Right away it took forever for someone to help me and I was the only person standing there. Second, right away I ordered my usual bruito bowl with extra rice. The girl puts less rice then you typically would receive if you didn't ask for extra. The second I realized I said, "can you please add more rice. Sorry" She looks at me annoyed and says sure only to turn to the girl next to her and complain about me right in front of me about wanting more rice. Then she proceeds to give me so little half and half chicken & steak that I couldn't even tell I was eating any meat!
