Walked in and was not greeted, as I usually say hello when coming into places. The food was good, but cold. the rice was either undercooked or had been sitting out because it was hard and chewy at the same time. And I was given A LOT of rice for a bowl. Honestly this was my first time at Chipotle and I was pretty disappointed. I ordered the barbacoa burrito and my wife ordered the steak burrito. There were a lot of reasons why we were not satisfied. 1. There was hardly any meat on the burritos. I mean like 1 -2 oz's. (Maybe) 2. They really poured on the rice. Obviously it was a cheap filler. 3. The tortillas were very processed and breakable. 4. Pretty much no flavor in the burrito whatsoever. Very bland. The medium salsa had way way too much oregano. 5. We asked for chips and salsa and the bag was like 1/8 of the way full. Also the girl filled the salsa container half ways. 6. The queso was gritty and you could tell it wasn't made with real cheese. The employees at the Las Cruces Chipotle location on Telshor Blvd could really use some motivation and adult supervision. Each time i've gone into this Chipotle it seems to take forever just to give your order and get the food. Frequently it happens that you finally get up to the front of the line but then watch as up to a half dozen online orders are slapped down on the counter and the guy fills them first, no matter how long the line of customers waiting to order. On many occasions by the time i've made it to the front of the line they're out of whatever it is I want to order, and have to wait for the cooks to cook the food. No one seems to be working together as a team. The counter workers seem to be random, no one stays on the line for very long before they're off to do something else. On a few occasions it has actually taken so long to get through the line that my food was no longer hot by the time I reached the cashier. I went in yesterday and there were only two employees and the cashier working behind the counter. The first guy was busy chatting with his buddies instead of taking and filling orders. The young lady was working quickly but she can't complete the order without the first guy doing his job first. But that is not out of the ordinary there. It is always very time consuming at this location to order and receive food. Additionally, the background noise in this location is so loud you have to shout in order for the employees behind the line to hear you. They seem to have the music volume cranked up to nightclub levels. I have resolved to cook my own ingredients at home and assemble it all for myself instead of suffering the irritation of going to the Chipotle in Las Cruces on Telshor Blvd. My advice: Unless you have endless patience and a lot of time to waste, find a different place to get food. read more

We stopped for lunch today at our town's relatively new Chipotle. There was only a small wait to place our orders. My wife had the chicken bowl and I had the steak bowl. Both of our meals were good. For fast Mexican food, Chipotle is good at it's job. read more

We drove all the way from roswell to las cruces and we're excited about chipotle the whole ride. I have worked as a manager at a chipotle for years. I have never seen such terrible customer service from a manager before & i have been to so many. We got there and got in line, there was a man infront of us and his family was in the lobby. Leslie (who is the manager) was serving. She allowed the family to get in line in front of us although we were in line, we waited patiently & i spoke to her properly on how it was not okay that she did that and how we had been waiting in line and she let 7+ people who were not in line infront of us. She literally looked at me amd said "yeah". Nothing else. She continued to serve me and my fiancé with an ugly face. It was terrible customer service and so unprofessional, we had been looking forward to visit chipotle, but we will never be going again. She didn't try to apologize or anything, i have never seen such poor management in a chipotle, so very disappointed. read more

zero stars when i order online 20 minutes ahead of time, its because i dont want to stand in line. i want to be in and out, thus putting the order in 20 freaking minutes before i even arrive. now let's get to the point where i arrive 20 minutes later. the order receipt isn't even torn off off of the register. so after i stand in a line , the cashier informs me that it's being made now. she then puts in on the prep table in front of the workers eyes. he proceeds to serve the other 15, yes 15!! other people that literally just walked in the door. so i waited for him to finish 15 other peoples orders before he made my three fucking tacos! threeeeeee tacos took over 30 minutes to make. if i would have sat in line upon arrival, i would have had my meal quicker then putting it in 20 minutes prior!do better, its not a hard job! read more

Don't order from this place!!!! There is no way to speak to a representative when they mess up your order and you never get it. I placed an order through the app for delivery. It gave me an error that I had to change to pick up. I couldn't do that so I backed out of the order. It charged on my card anyway. I give chipotle a one star rating because I didn't like the food. The food was too spicy and the beans were too pasty. I would prefer less spicy food. I love chipotle, but this particular location, their food quality sucks. I have gone on multiple occasions, dry chicken, rice was not cilantro lime rice but rather plain white rice, beans were crusty. I know it's a new location, but they need to review the quality of food they are serving. read more

Very Loud! I liked the food (steak bowl with pinto beans, tomatoes, salsa, corn, lettuce) but the extreme noise made eating there painful. We opted to eat outdoors along a very busy road, which was quieter than indoors. I guess they choose to make their restaurants noisy, but the atmosphere is very unpleasant unless you want to hear echos of chairs scraping on the floor and all the other noise that is augmented by the bare"decor." read more
