Amazing service food was exceptional you won't get fresh food like this anywhere else And they got me in and out in less than 5 minutes

We came in yesterday 9/20/2025 right before 5:00 p.m. There was only 1 customer ahead of us already checked out. There was 1 employee making food and cashing out customers. There were 3 other employees chatting. 1 seemed to be manning the grill, but the other 2 seemed to be doing less urgent items and didn't seem interested in helping the girl. It took longer than it should to be waited on. All of the food items on the bar seemed to be low or old. There was a fly I noticed that landed on the cold items at the end. There was only one other couple sitting in the place. The entire place was a mess. Behind the counter hadn't been cleaned up. The drink station was a disaster with ice and liquid everywhere. Trash was in the floor. Not a single table was clean, inside or outside. If this is the attitude of employees and appearance of the restaurant to customers, it makes me wonder how bad the sanitary condition and quality of food really is. read more

We had high hopes after seeing Chipotle's ads. This was our first time to a Chipotle. Hopefully it's just this location that's bad. The food was not fresh we got chicken bowls and the meat had obviously been there awhile. Tables dirty, floors dirty and the drink station was sticky, trash on the floor. We went early so I'm guessing it hadn't been cleaned before they opened. Will try a different location but definitely won't try Marion again too many other restaurants to choose from read more

They used to be one of my wife and I favorite places to eat from.....in Maryland. Since we moved here last summer, the food has been less than stellar. This was our second time ordering from them. The tacos had no lettuce and were slightly hard on the edges. (Possibly old tortillas.) My burrito bowl had a regular portion of chicken, not the extra I ordered. Needless to say, a very disappointing food experience. No third time ordering food from them. We are done! read more

Sad to walk into a very newly opened Chipotle with family that have not tried this place before and it all go badly. The place was completely empty when we entered at 7pm tonight. Sadly the server served portion sizes so random and inconsistent that I almost wanted to stop and leave. They ran out of grilled fajita veggies? They ran out of chips? They don't have carne asada??? Ugh! There was one server who started then left, and second server came in and took her place and one other that was the cashier. The original server basically was doing nothing to help. It was probably the most unfriendly chipotle we have been to. No greetings and no thank you. There is no way you will have return customers, especially to an area that has not seen a Chipotle before. I would wait another 30 days before trying this location again. If they still haven't met their supply and demand and their serving sizes don't improve. I would suggest not visiting this location. Ambiance was new and sort of clean. The fork dispenser was almost empty and the area near the drinks needed attention. read more

From a chipotle that hasn't been open for that long you wouldn't expect for it to be that bad. Some of the people on line act like they don't want to serve you, the portions are inconsistent, and the food is dry. I went to a lot of chipotle's in Chicago but none has ever been this bad in quality. In my bowl I asked for brown rice. When I got home to eat, my rice was extremely undercooked. It's like they put the rice in water for a second then took it back out. Highly disappointed! read more

OMG! $28 for 2 burrito bowls and 2 small drinks! The brown rice was undercooked. Was like hard pellets. The unsweetened iced tea had sweetened in it. 2 new people assembling with 1 person trying to train both. read more

The food portions were very small rice not even a thin layer to cover the bottom of bowl and meat not seasoned for the price. This is the worst chipotle I have been to. Employees need to be shown the portion size just giving half the tip of the spoon can't be correct. read more

This was one of the places we missed from California. We were pretty excited when one of my students told me we were getting one out here. The food at this location is delicious. It's just like the ones in California. I order the same burrito every time and they never disappoint. The people who work there have been great. I appreciate that they are personable. One of them joked with us about the size of the burrito I order. It was funny to hear they remember it. I am a big fan of Chipotle and this spot holds up nicely. read more

Just ate at this location in Marion with my boyfriend at 7:30 pm. The store closes at 10:00 pm just for reference. I was unable to finish my bowl while eating in the restaurant so my boyfriend went and asked for a lid. The girl up front tossed the lid to him and it almost fell on the ground. The toss was not friendly, it had 100% attitude behind it. Very unprofessional and as someone that has worked in food service before, I would never do that to someone. We're always extremely nice when we go places and I've never experienced that before. Just rude! I'm giving a 2 star just because the food was good, the service was clearly not. read more

My order was late and missing food items in the order. Ordered a take out to go online aprox 10 till 12pm. I should have taken a photo at it to show the time or expected pick up, but i wasn't expecting any issues. So, I chose 12:10pm as my aprx pick up time. however, after paying, the time expected showed 12:40pm, which I did not choose. Alright, that's fine I suppose. So, I arrived at the store at exactly 12:40 and checked the counter. My order was not there, so I stopped by the cashier and let them know I ordered online. They said my order would be out soon. I waited for aprox 20 minutes and again went up to the desk and asked again. During this time, another lady was waiting and was having the same issue as me. I had a feeling that if I didn't ask that second time, I would not have gotten my order then. Finally I got my order. After I got to my location and opened the container, I was missing items I chose online. No sour cream, cheese, and little lettuce. Disappointed unfortunately. When I was there the shop was not that busy in the front, the max people I saw was 5 waiting, but they were all taken cared of quickly before I got my order. read more

I frequent this business and am a huge fan of the food and employees. Tonight I arrived 20 mins before close (the time I usually do) and there was almost no meat left on the line. They were out of chicken (el pastor & regular), steak, & carne asada. The only things left were barbacoa (which looked dried up and old) and sofritas. This is the first time I've seen them run out of nearly all their meats. The staff did not seem to care that they were out of items and said it was close to closing. But it would've taken over an hour for everything to run down as much as it did. I met a guy who was passing thru who drove 30-40 mins just to get there. And both of us left with nothing. Not sure what management is trying to accomplish here, but this is a great way to lose business. read more

I placed an order on line New Year's day 2024 for the Marion ILL. Chipotle . I ordered a Salad & filled out what I wanted on it. When I got home I looked in the sack & realized my order was not correct. There were 3 tacos in the sack . Also there was a foil pan that had the toppings I ordered for my salad & they looked like they had been all stirred together & mashed. I decided the call the restaurant but the phone was answered by a machine that refused to let me speak to a human. I am very disappointed . I ate part of the tacos but did not like them . The rest of the food I threw out. $17.00 for food I threw out. Very disappointing. I can not recommend this Chipotle. read more

The order was wrong, the Manager was RUDE, there were to-go orders on the floor. My card wasn't working on the app for a large order so I went there to order it. The manager made me download the app and try and when it didn't work told me I should probably leave because they were busy. read more
