On the evening of August 8 I attempted to go to chipotle and first going to the store and order dinner. The doors were locked, then tried to go to the drive-through even though there are people working, nobody would ever come to the window. Then I tried to order off the application, but it was going to take 40 minutes in order to get my food. By the time I would've gotten my food, it would've been after 9 PM. I'm not sure what occurred at this location, but there were minimal people working. I'm sure they were doing the best that they could do under the circumstances, but there were no signs there were nothing to notify customers what was going on. There are relatively new business in that area but I don't know if I will try it again just because I don't wanna waste my time. I've had chipotle I do like your food. UPDATE: Although I have contacted Chipotle repeatedly about the issues described, no corrective action or apology has been issued. Now that I have chosen to make my experience public, Chipotle is actively engaging me. This substantiates my claim that value and quality aren't the goals, only the perception of value and quality is sought by this organization. Chipotle offers the perfect alternative for individuals that don't want to eat poisonous food. It's not organic, however a salad bowl offers high fiber and high protein that has a lot of flavor and a great deal of options. Things I have to avoid in order to feel well include grains, processed oils, msg and hidden sugar content. There aren't many places that offer this particular combination of advantages without charging way too much. Until recently, as a single working male, I spent a small fortune at Chipotle, in particular, the Mt Vernon WA and the Smokey Point location near my place of work. I don't have time to prepare meat and keep fresh salad on hand because it's just me. While, the prices are quite high for a dish that is by volume, mostly beans and rice, it was worth it for me simply because of the long hours I spend working. There has been some buzz recently about patrons recording video when they order at chipotle, simply because they wouldn't get a good portions unless they did. While this is something isn't really worth it for me to do, I have had to face the realization that profiteers like chipotle aren't interested in providing value, but they are heavily invested only in the perception of value. I find this notion to be a bit sickening and even after contacting customer service with my own experiences with receiving cold meat and recently, just a couple of tablespoons of meat, the incentive is clear. Chipotle wants the appearance of providing quality/value without the responsibility to actually produce it. The hubris is this. Your hungry, you go into a Chipotle that charges upwards of $15-20 for one meal if you want meat and guac. They pay their employees a meager and frankly stingy hourly rate. Yet the at the employees digression, they are allowed to serve you a portion of meat that can only be described as an "imperceptible serving". If you question it, it doesn't matter if the employee has worked at the location for 5 minutes or 5 years, the answer is always the same. "That is the correct portion of meat and you must pay extra for more.". They have some kind of "slight of perception" that they often do with serving sizes as well. I'm certain that they are trained to do this with the sauces. They load up a full ladle then proceed to pour just a small fraction of it onto your meal forcing you to ask for more. If they are so concerned that you may only want a teaspoon of sauce instead of a ladle full, why don't they simply grab a small amount upfront? I once received a portion of rice that was so small, it would be easiest measured by counting the grains of rice. When I visit chipotle right at opening time, I have to choose an alternative meat, the steak is literally and consistently as cold as it would be if they just went and retrieved it out of the fridge. I would argue that this huge health code violation. I can't speak for other locations, however as for the Mt Vernon location and the Smokey point location I am no longer a patron. When I reported very small serving sizes on dozens of visits to the corporate customer service, they offered me a buy one get one free and proposed no corrective action. The employees are rude and unrelenting if you dare question the portion of meat that is offered. On one occasion I received a portion of shredded beef that was so miniscule, I was astonished that the employees didn't' correct it, it was without exaggeration two compacted level tablespoons worth. I walked out. Chipotle has shown that they don't care about customers, they care about profit. read more

This place deserves an award for most consistent and well run restaurant in Marysville. Unlike many establishments in Snohomish County where you can only count on fresh food when they first open, this location consistently has good food from open to close. I'm always seeing employees wash their hands, check food temperatures, and wear gloves. Everyone has always been very friendly. I really love getting a vegetarian burrito bowl for under 10 bucks with tax. Kudos to you, Chipotle management, regional managers, and staff. The only thing I would do to improve would be to upgrade your POS system to incorporate a tip option for purchases. read more

They have many options for vegetarians - my favorite is Softritas Bowl. I'm never able to finish the entire bowl in one go. The fountain drink machine has bee broken for a week; no ice and the pop is warm and flat. I learned this earlier this week AFTER I paid 6 dollars for two drinks and after I found out it was broken they told me "oh yeah our ice doesn't work" Today I asked them if it works and they go "oh no, it's broken" and I said why don't you put a sign up? "Oh they don't like us putting up signs". How are people supposed to know they are broken? "We tell people." You mean like I was told a few days ago? Love the food! But don't try to go in on a lunch break I understand they are busy but they have a lot of workers and I think they utilize them poorly. The manager is making all the food and the cashier needs help with everything constantly at the register. I was on lunch break and had to leave a five dollars behind because I had to wait for the manager to get my change. The manager had to run up to the computer with every person that was in line before me I think she should just stay at the register to keep the line moving and the other people should maybe make the food just a tip. Tucked away in a busy shopping area, but there was plenty of parking. It was pouring rain and it's a lake to walk through in the rain. People were friendly, line moved quickly. Everything looked mostly full/fresh. They did ask if I wanted chips. They do have seating and soda fountain drinks. Our burritos were good. we will return to this location again. My only issue was the pick up people often parked blocking cars thinking they could run in and grab an order. We had to wait to leave b/c someone ditched their car to wait inside on an order. read more

There can be like a 1/4 to 1/2 cup difference per ingredient item. We stopped by this chipotle when the hungers hit on our drive back from Vancouver. The plan was to go home and make a salad for dinner when jokingly I tell the husband as we're passing by- or we could just have Chipotle. As if just waiting for me to suggest such an option he instantaneously swerves us into the parking lot. That settles it then, diet starts tomorrow. The individuals prepping the food did a great job cleaning everything and swapping out utensils for gluten free food prep and packaged us up to be on our way in no time. The bathroom was clean and even had hand sanitizer outside. I got the least amount of food I have ever gotten at a chipotle's at this location tonight. I am not an ant, but the serving I got was about enough for an ant. There is something wrong with the management of this chipotle. They had no food left and this has been a pretty consistent problem, especially on weekend evenings. They need to fix this. I place mobile orders about once every three weeks. This location is A-OK. The parking lot is cramped, they forgot items in our order a few times, and sometimes the food is way too salty, but none of these things is perfect at any Chipotle I've visited. I ordered a burrito bowl with the new cauliflower cilantro lime rice. The young man helping apparently me didn't know how to wear his mask as it was underneath his nose. He was the ONLY ONE in the restaurant that did not know how to wear his mask properly. **I made sure I kept staring at his nose. I asked him if Barbacoa was pork or beef. He did not know. So I got steak as I don't eat pork. Such a bummer because I've heard such wonderful things about it and I really wanted to try it. I also ended up getting chips and guac. When I got to the cash register, another employee came up and told me and the young man that Barbacoa is actually BEEF. Unfortunately, it's too late now because I already had the STEAK on my burrito. **FYI - It's always good to be informed of what you're serving when you work in a restaurant. As I ate the chips and guac on the way home I noticed that half of the chips were extremely stale and half were quite fresh. It almost seems as if yesterday's chips were mixed with today's chips. Every time I found one of "Yesterdays chips"...well, that one went out the window so the birds could have a treat. The guacamole was delicious. When I got home I dug into my burrito bowl. First bite all I tasted was lime from the cilantro lime cauliflower rice. It was quite overwhelming and not very pleasing. Second bite I made sure I had a piece of steak in it. The steak was severely over cooked. It had the consistency of gristle. I just gave up and decided to pick through my burrito bowl and eat all the corn salsa because I know that's some thing that I really like. Once I was done picking through my burrito bowl I picked up my receipt and called chipotle with the phone number that was on the receipt. The phone number is 360-652-3230. Well guess what... that phone number is disconnected. Thank you SO much for having accurate phone numbers on your receipts. I had to log into my computer to get the correct phone number. What happens when I call you ask? I asked to speak to a manager. Well wasn't I surprised to find out that the manager is the young man who was leaving such a wonderful impression by not knowing how to wear his stinking mask and hadn't a CLUE what he was serving me!! His name was Jaxon. At least that's what he told me on the phone. To be honest I think he was lying. But here's the truth! I will never go back there because the only thing good about that place that I found was the guacamole and that's not good enough for me to go back. I paid over $16 for some crappy food that went in my compost bin. Unbelievable. read more

Disclaimer: Chipotle is life. Ive been to this location twice now in the past month, and it's the best location I've been to. The staff is so great- welcoming, friendly, warm. It really makes all the difference to have great staff. The portions have been standard, not skimpy. I got steak both times and it was a little more cooked than I like but that could have just been my timing. I'll be back to this location for all my future Chipotle needs! read more
