Ordered online for in store pick up. The place was FILTHY when we walked in at 4:50 with a minimal line. Every single table covered in food, like no one had wiped it since lunch. Order was "ready" in the app but we waited 10 minutes past pick up time to finally ask them where the heck our food was, since it wasn't on the shelf. Girl worked the online orders had a cart of orders just hoarded in the back. We ended up eating in because it took so long (after we had to clean our own table) and my son was hungry. The line was RIDICULOUS. It was 1-2 people when we walked in and by 5:10 when we got our food, it had grown to 15-16 people. People waiting 20-30 minutes to just order. Absolute insanity. Staff was lollygagging and not friendly or apologetic at all to the customers. The food was okay - not the best, but definitely not worth waiting that long for. Place a food order on the app still had to wait an additional 45 minutes after the scheduled pick up time. Then the order was missing 1 of the items ordered. As I was standing there waiting for my order to be corrected at least 2-3 more people came in and there orders were wrong too. This restaurant did not have enough staff working to keep up with the orders and customers. You could tell staff was frustrated but they continued to work hard and still remained pleasant to customers. I ordered online for the sole reason of getting the new steak and fajita vegetable quesadillas. Order was for 11:50 and when I got there it was slammed with orders and people. Ten minutes later it was ready.. I was happy.. not bad ten minute delay. Took it to my car and realized they didn't give me my vinaigrette.. so I went back in to get it. We were there after the lunch rush but they were still very busy. But they need to be better at keeping the tables and floors clean. Food was fresh. Service good but hard to hear at counter in both directions! Unfortunately, by the time we arrived home, we both had severe upset stomachs. As many people do, my family enjoys the chipotle franchise. We stopped at the Greece, New York location, and I was pleasantly surprised as the line wasn't out the door on a holiday weekend. As we were in line, we noticed how disgusting the tabletops were. Every single one was covered in food, and all of the people in line were dumbfounded that someone wasn't cleaning them. There was a single person on the register while we could see all of the other employees messing around in the back. One was on even sitting their phone behind the counter ignoring everyone. We took our food and ate in the car, as did the people in front and behind us. I will say that behind the counter was clean, and the food was at our expected standards, but this location was absolutely gross. I love chipotle's kids meals, I get their quesadilla and since I can't have meat, or rice they allow a substitute for guacamole, and sour cream. The last time we went here, we mobile ordered due to the pandemic. When we received the order, we were missing several items that we paid for such as my kids drink and fruit side. We went back inside and were given what we were missing, no big deal. We then left and I finally opened the container that my quesadilla was in. I was only given one side (beans) as opposed to the typical three (no sour cream or guacamole), at this point we had already left and had already been inside once so we didn't think there was a point to going back inside. There were several bagged up orders on the counter, but as staff was finishing and packaging the orders they were not calling out anyone's names. A few customers asked for assistance and were told that they would call them out when they could. We had to wait about 5 more minutes before they started calling names. And the staff member was practically whispering, and no one could hear her. When I got my food home, my guacamole consisted of a little bit of guacamole and a half of a hard, unripe avocado. This has been the worst experience I have ever had dining at Chipotle. Firstly, at 8:15 they told walk ins they were closed after the last person in line- prompting them to leave. Even though they close at 10. Whenever asked why, they stated they were short staffed. However, there were 6 people working with only one person on the line while the customer line was out the door. Tables were extremely dirty and multiple employees were in the back chatting amongst themselves. It was ridiculous. If they are "short staffed" shouldn't there be all staff on deck? Whenever I asked for cheese on my bowl, there was hardly any in the pan so he gave me the last of it. When it got to my boyfriend that wanted cheese, the employee stated they were out of cheese entirely. After he paid, another employee restocked the cheese. They were not out. In fact, they also restocked the empty lettuce and queso after we got through. My boyfriend ordered a large drink and was not charged for it, so when he asked for his cup they refused to give it to him. Then the cashier said "Oh I didn't ring it up" and then gave him a cup for free as some sort of consolation to our experience. Multiple customers were turned away, bowls sent back. From the moment I walked in the establishment, the experience was less than pleasant. The look of annoyance and bothersome was clearly evident, more of what do you want attitude, as well as through the tone in her voice, as I was putting my order in. Not welcoming at all. She made me feel like I needed to take my $50, and go spend it at another restaurant, other than Chipotle. As I was telling her what I wanted in my bowls, and burritos, the attitude, was as if I was reaching into her personal wallet and taking money out of it. She was trying very hard to skimp on everything, and if you asked her for more, you got the evil eye, and under breathe comments, almost throwing my food but closely tossing my bowls, and burritos on the counter very aggressively, she clearly showed that she was not happy being there. Another young woman came to the rescue and was so pleasant! I wanted to tip her, based off of her kindness.
