The food is usual, but also clean - I went here several times even during the e. coli scandal and didn't catch anything. I was extremely embarrassed in front of the President, COO/CFO, and the Senior Manager of Development Relations. The details (order confirmation is attached): · 10:54 a.m. - Placed delivery order using the Chipotle app. (expected delivery time: 11:14 a.m.) · 11:35 a.m. - checked "Where's My Food". o Received notification that Door Dash could not deliver, instructed to call driver. o Called driver; recording says driver number is no longer available. · 11:40 a.m. - I called the restaurant located at 1735 N Lynn St Suite 114. Arlington, VA 22209, phone: 703-294-6669. o Kelly, the takeout specialist, said the order was never picked up and "it's sitting right in front of me." o Kelly said she'll call Door Dash to have it picked up and delivered; she will call me back. o Kelly never called back. · 11:55 a.m. - I called the restaurant again. o Gloria, the manager, asked if I ordered through the Chipotle app. and selected "delivery", explaining (in a condescending tone) that only orders through the Chipotle app. would guarantee my order is prepared and that some customers mistakenly select "pick up". o I confirmed the order was placed on the Chipotle app. and delivery was selected. o When I gave Gloria the name of the order, she said she had given the order to the Door Dash driver. When I asked when that was, she couldn't say - even if it was in the last 5 minutes or an hour ago. o Gloria said the delivery company is a third-party contractor so Chipotle is not responsible for customers receiving their food. As a customer who orders lunch using apps for business and personal use, I'm disappointed at Chipotle's logistics; a large chain unable to deliver food to its customers in this very competitive market is poor business practice. Should there be "fine print" on the app. warning users that a confirmed, PAID, order may not be guaranteed? If so, there won't be many customers. I rarely eat at Chipotle but when I do, I only eat at this location. The taste is authentic. The cooks seem to know what they are doing back there because the food is never bland like at other locations. I create my own plant based/vegan burrito: brown rice, black beans, pinto beans, fajita vegetables, mild salsa, salsa verde, guacamole, and lettuce with Chipotle Tabasco sauce on the side! It's decadent tasting without all of the calories, saturated fat and animal products. Always fresh and always filling. Good amount of food for your buck! read more

I love all Chipotle! One the best restaurants ever! This is definitely my go to restaurant! Been to this location quite a few times and never had any issues with the food or the staff. Gotta have that Veggie burrito or the bowl. Their ingredients are always fresh and the combination of ingredients makes it taste absolutely delicuous! I would echo the poster two posts below me - it's Chipotle. However, the service here is pretty competent, meaning if you walk in and see a heavy line at lunch, it's just because there is heavy traffic. They normally can get you through in less than 10 minutes even at the worst of times, which is eminently reasonable. But if you've never had Chipotle before, I don't know what to tell you - pretty good Mexican food, and I really like the chips, though it annoys me they charge you extra for them. read more

Fan of mexican and tex-mex but normally not so much into burrito, since visited so many cheap burrito places in pass can't take it any more.. then comes Chipotle which changed my view on burritos. over the weekend, went DC to support friends running in the marathon, we end up at Chipotle in Rosslyn (at the finish of the marathon) for a quick food before fighting the way home from mass number of people from the event. Even with unexpected number of people trying order, line move fairly fast with any problems, staff worked fast with smile and got all our order. they accept major credit cards, which we had to use since I was the only one who didn't run the marathon and had wallet with.. Burrito was very tasty and was told by others that company try to get meet and veg from local farm as much as possible (* not sure how true the statement is but I like the sound of supporting local farmers) Next time some one suggest burrito, I will no longer veto it but suggest Chipotle. read more

This is the 2nd WORST Chipotle I've ever gotten food from. Went in this evening for my regular bowl.....the amount of cheese that she gave me was less than 1 oz. I asked for more, I got less than the first amount. IS THIS CHEESE COMING OUT OF Y'ALL'S PAYCHECK?! Same thing for the guac. Got to the cash register and I could NOT understand what the cashier was saying....on top of that, Mr. Little Rudeness that was one of the servers made comments about me changing my mind about extra guac (because I got so little). Run far, far away. There are plenty of other Mexican options in range. I put in an online order last weekend for two burrito bowls with most of the fixings (duh). My order was ready when I came in. I paid. I went home. Turns out the employees here don't like it when you order online. You get the watery dredgings of the salsa bin, some rotten looking peppers, and only half the items you requested. When you call to ask for a refund because you can't run back to Chipotle right now, you are told employees can't do that. "It's not my job. Sorry you didn't get enough sauces." (They left off rice, hot salsa, sour cream, lettuce, and cheese.) When you contact corporate, nobody cares. You don't get a refund. You get a coupon to come back for more. My appetite for Chipotle is long gone. At Chipotle, it's nobody's job to make customers happy. Eat shit, America. read more

I work in Rosslyn and come here for lunch often. It's clean, the food is good, and the line moves super fast. It's a well run Chipotle. However, they have raised the prices of at least of the menu items. I always get barbacoa, and I have seen 2 price increases. That's not what bugs me though. What bugs me is that they are getting sheisty with their portions. The last few times I've been here, my burrito bowl is half empty. I have to repeatedly ask for them to add more rice, beans, and meat to my bowl. If you are going to raise prices, at least don't be cheap with the amount of food. If they continue to be cheap with their portions, I will start going elsewhere. read more

This is a solid chipotle establishment. You know the food. Tables and counters are usually clean. But let's cut to the chase, or at least the key factor which I use to judge chipotles, portion size. Folks, they do not skimp here! I always walk home with a heavy bag. I like to order a salad bowl with half chicken and half barbacoa because it's the best way to get more meat and two is always better than one. The workers here are friendly and the location is very close to where I live. I basically get a fajita burrito bol, minus the rice, beans, cheese...in the end, it basically is just a salad. and it's GOOD. It's the only time I can finish everything. Standing in that 25+ minute Queue once (it totally pwned my longest wait in UW-Seattle) is one too many times. Seriously, order about 20-30 minutes before you want to eat (ie when you get hungry), go there about 1-2 minutes before your scheduled time (lateness = old chipotle), and viola, 1 minute in and out pick up (especially if you charge your card online). I find the Burritos are much better crafted with online orders, they pack in everything you tell them to without the pressure! mmmmmm.... Chipotle! read more

I've been to this Chipotle twice now, with my most recent visit being last night for dinner. One thing I really like about Chipotle is the consistency of the food. Each time I visit my food is just as good as the last visit! The service moves at a reasonable pace and the employees are always pretty friendly. The only drawback I could see at this location is that it seems like it would get pretty crowded during peak hours. I arrived around 9:40PM (they close at 10PM) and there was a line almost to the door at about 9:50PM! Definitely plan on returning soon! read more

I visit this chipotle on average about 4.68 times a week. It's next to my work and the gym so it's convenient. I love everything about this place except... For her. Her, is the depressed-looking lady that is usually the middle worker in the assembly line. If I see her working, I often times make a u-turn and leave. She is so stingy with the ingredients; it will drive you crazy. She's even stingy with the lettuce. Every time I go I get a salad bowl and get vinagrette last time got attitude when asking for 2 because they weren't even a quarter of the cup full! I love all chipotles, including this one. I believe food wise, every chipotle deserves a 5 star, but there are a couple of reasons this place got a 4. The service at this location is good, not great. Sometimes the servers give a bit of an attitude when u ask for extra tomato or cheese, but they always come through, u just can't give up. Another downside of this location is lack of parking. If u plan in driving, good luck, bc parking is a nightmare. A plus is that they have a large outdoor seating, which is great for those nice days. This is location specific, as obviously Chipotle in general is amazing. I've worked in Rosslyn for about a year and a half and have frequented this Chipotle many times. It definitely gets packed between 12 and 1pm, like 50+ people in line, but the staff gets through everything really quickly, and the burritos are always great. Today in particular, I was really impressed. As they were finishing up my burrito, one of the other employees accidentally knocked into it and sort of messed it up, but it wasn't a big deal. I would have still taken it as is. However, the manager apologized profusely (literally 5+ times) and said she'd remake it for me. They remade it, gave me an incredible amount of barbacoa and guac, and then gave it to me for free. How nice and unexpected! I go here due to convenience to work and you can order online. I have never waited in line as I only place online orders. Usually, I would say they are ok. Nothing special, but ok. I did have a problem the other day when I placed an order online. I went to pick it up and they said they didn't have the order. Then the lady asked me to pull it up on my phone. This location is my "local" Chipotle. I probably get a meal here at least a couple times a month. For fast food, it is pretty healthy as long as you watch the calories and don't over eat.
