It's now a few days after finishing my antibiotics and my symptoms, and pain, have returned. Instead of providing treatment with a refill of my amoxicillin I was instructed that I would have to pay ANOTHER $122 to see the Dr AGAIN. That's all they could do. The way I see it I paid for them not to fix my problem the first time and now I'm supposed to pay them AGAIN when they couldn't take the time to properly diagnose me the first time? Yeah right... The front staff, simply amazing and I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with ALL of them. My 1 star is strictly for Dr. Ben Iske. I have seen him about 4 times. Every time I have seen him, he has seemed like he is in a rush. He has appeared frustrated when whatever he was doing did not work out. The last straw was my last visit when I went for to see if they could glue my permanent retainer or if I needed to see my orthodontist (though I thought I would see a dental hygienist or I may not have gone if I thought I would be seeing him as I had previously requested not to see him). He asked who had previously done work on 4 teeth where resin (not sure of the correct word) was added to make my teeth bigger. I mentioned he did 2 of them because they had jagged edges and in fact one had chipped already. This turned into a 10 minute he said she said conversation where he denied doing both. First, he didn't remember doing either one then he said he only did one tooth. I mentioned that it was something I was self-conscious about for years, I would not have gone with 2 front teeth with jagged bottoms and had him fix just one. He said his notes showed he only did one. I mentioned he may have only written one in the notes, but he certainly did both. I said I would know if he did just one tooth. He laughed at me, literally laughed. That is when I got off the chair and told him how unpleasant he has been on every meeting we have had. I can't believe he would make me feel so bad simply because in his rush, he only wrote partial notes.

Considering I live 200 miles away, I had to make sure I could get an appointment during my next visit to Scottsbluff. I made the assumption that a small town would never experience the scheduling lead-time that a larger city spa would face, but I was wrong. After two attempts I was able to secure an appointment with Lisa for what was the best massage ever! I don't think I can ever go back to a Swedish/Deep Tissue Massage after experiencing one of the Hot Stone Massages at CYS. I have been attending Lisa's yoga classes for almost 3 years. Yoga has helped me improve my…read morestrength, flexibility, and balance. I take medication for arthritis, but find yoga is as effective for relieving stiffness, pain, and mobility problems. Lisa is a wonderful instructor. She encourages each person to not compare themselves with other people or the younger version of themselves. She offers guidance on how to achieve the correct pose. She also offers ways to modify the pose depending upon your skill level. While this is a beginner class, I feel people of all skill levels would find it worthwhile. Lisa's classes are truly worth attending.
