I was too excited for the food that I forgot to take a picture of it. My partner and I each got a burrito and shared some fries. The food itself is really good but we did think the size was a bit on the small side to be considered a "large burrito". Nonetheless we were full by the end of it and plan on dropping by again!

OK THE FOOD IS GOOD .. full stop If it was Just based on food I would give the place 5 stars . Tacos all had a different taste and the rice ball was pretty tasty and seemed made at the time .. very cool I wanted to try this place so I decided to go there and buy some tacos ! Crap location , no parking 2 meth heads screaming close by .. Downtown is trash and the fact there is no indoor ordering is stupid .. making people stand in the rain to order tacos next to meth addicts is funny and why I don't go into downtown.. Order on Uber and get it delivered Maybe your Uber driver will get stabbed instead of you

I really enjoyed this place the first time I came here in 2019. I had the Korean beef burrito. The owner was so sweet and reminded me to try out the sauces on the side with my burrito! I remember the beef being plentiful and the salad inside adding a slight spicy, sweet, tangy wonderful flavor. the sauces added the right amount of heat! Today, I finally got around to trying them again. I decided to get the same burrito and a spicy pork taco this time. I had to use grubhub this time. I'm not sure if it's their fault or the owners but there was no information about sauces so I assumed they come included with the burrito and chips. My order arrived without any sauces. Anyway, I understand now why some of the reviews ding the meats... they truly taste like they are in the same marinade. Spicy pork was dry and was not at all spicy. The beef in the burrito was still plentiful and still delicious as I remember. However, this time the korean/radish salad included tasted of straight apple cider vinegar (or whatever vinegar is used)... I did not mind too much... but if you have a hard time with overly acidic foods I would pass on the cabbage/radish salads. Overall, I would still eat here especially when I have korean mexican fusion cravings and I would still recommend it... but remember sauces and maybe ask for light salad? I'm hopeful to come back and add a star to my review!

Beef and pork tacos, Rice ball with chicken

DELICIOUS. We wanted to grab a quick lunch and happened to notice this little hole in the wall place from down the street. We tried pork, beef, and chicken tacos, a chicken rice ball, and tortilla chips. They have a whole list of sauces to choose from, we tried WTF, pepper sauce, spicy Mayo, mystery sauce, and sweet and spicy. Not a bad thing in the whole lot. The tacos were delicious, the sauces amazing(my favorite was the pepper sauce and the Spicy Mayo). The pork is indeed spicy as the menu describes, and the beef had a bulgogi-esque flavor. The guy working the counter was super friendly and patient with us staring at the menu for five minutes while ordering. 100% would go back and recommend.

Super food. Super good. Super cheap. This could be the definition of a Hole in the Wall. Small but super. Just steps away from the Downtown Eugene bus station this is a super place to grab a super breakfast burrito, rice ball packed with bacon, pork, beef or tofu. Salads are super too. I took my young granddaughter and she found the place to be super. Breakfast, lunch or a quick snack ... super.

Ordered the Ikura onigiri and the Japanese Sweet Potato and the Agadashi Tofu. (I asked for miso butter on the side for me because I have found it overwhelms the potato which is seasoned really wonderfully). The Ikura Onirigi was simple and excellent. My favorite wishes that they would create an regular Onirigi Happy Hour where they are on discount so that those of us who just want to have half a dozen of those and a few drinks can come in and experience our heart's delight. My drink of choice here is the Painkiller -- which is really well balanced and so delicious it's hard not to have a second. Wednesdays are when they have two dollars off the ginger-based drinks and I didn't try it this time but I am keen to the next time because they appear to crush the ginger in house and make their own ginger concoction magic. The bar was thankfully not crowded. As an introvert it was nice to be finishing up and heading out just as more people were coming in.

The place was packed, but thankfully we were seated quite quickly with a 5-10 minute wait. The interior is cozy and welcoming. It's dimly lit with mood lighting on the tables. It felt lively since the tables were packed. We started by ordering the sake and shoyu flights and some fries with wasabi mayo while we explored the rest of their menu. We received the flights quickly. Both flights had 3 flavors and were tasty and fun to try. Each flight comes with a menu describing the flavor profile and how the drinks were made. The flavors of each flight were distinct and matched their descriptions. The fries with wasabi mayo were pretty basic fries. They were well seasoned, had a nice crunch, and the mayo had a subtle wasabi flavor without it being spicy. For our next round we ordered the salmon misoyaki, butternut squash, tofu kushiyaki, and steak kushiyaki. Unfortunately, our server forgot to bring our butternut squash, but we ended up being full with the rest of the food we ordered and just took it off our order. The salmon misoyaki was delicious - perfectly cooked, tender, and well seasoned. The mustard greens on the side added a nice sourness. The tofu kushiyaki was tender and flavorful. The steak kushiyaki was well-seasoned, but more well done than I preferred and a little tough. Next, we ordered the spinach goma ae and umeboshi unigiri. The spinach goma ae was such a pleasant surprise! It's a chilled spinach dish with a tamari/black sesame sauce that was refreshing mid-meal. Really good umami flavor! The umeboshi onigiri had the expected sharp salty/sour flavor that balanced well with the ratio of rice. Ended up dipping the umeboshi onigiri in the goma ae sauce to get every last drop. For dessert we ordered the basque cheesecake and créme brûlée. The cheesecake was just okay. The menu said there was sake and black sesame flavors, but apart from some black sesame dust on the plate we couldn't taste the sake/sesame. The texture was thick and not super smooth. It was a pretty heavy dessert and not very sweet. The créme brûlée was yummy. The custard was smooth and the crunchy caramelized sugar on top was a nice contrast in texture and flavor. The service itself was slow. We were waiting around 15 minutes between orders. Given, it was a busy night. However, we felt a bit forgotten as our server did forget to bring one of our dishes, we had to ask for our dessert menus twice, and we were accidentally served two basque cheesecakes instead of our order of cheesecake and créme brûlée. The staff were friendly, and quickly brought out the correct desserts at the end. I'd recommend ordering more dishes at once so you can enjoy more food in between orders. Would definitely come back again to try the rest of their menu. We wanted to try the Japanese sweet potato but they had sold out that night. The oysters, sashimi, and udon also looked quite good!

Nice interior, and was waited on quickly. My waitress brought water, and took my order for green tea. It came quickly, a full mug, and a lovely little cast iron teapot with a second serving. Good tea, too! I ordered the nine piece Hamachi sashimi (on a diet... no carbs, lol)! I was brought a six piece... and let the waitress know that. Told her the six piece would be fine for now. Lovely presentation, and the hamachi was beautiful. Fresh too, no fishy odor and the color was good. It was delicious. I would eat here again!

Today I went and got a 'Caterpillar' roll and 'Day Dreamer' roll. Let me break it down for you. Caterpillar roll: AMAZING 10/10. I love sushi and this is a go to roll for me NO MATTER WHAT. This roll is always good, but Sushi Pure makes it amazing, the taste, texture, and fulfillment it brings is unmatched. Day Dreamer roll: Very Solid 7.75/10. This roll had me in a chokehold for a second. That's neither bad or a good thing. The taste all around was very good, but the texture through me off (more personal problem, so many of you may love this). It was like soft, then crunchy, then popping due to the fish egg. All around I would recommend, but it may not be for everyone. The servers I've had both times have always been so kind, quick moving, and motivated so the service is unmatched as well. All in all, Sushi Pure is a must try with an amazing atmosphere!

What surprised me was that most of the customers were Westerners--it's hard to imagine that everyone can handle such bold, heavy flavors, but I decided to give it a try. Environment: The overall lighting is quite dim, with black tables and black chairs. The ambiance is also on the darker side. Taste: We ordered shrimp wontons, dan dan noodles, and a bowl of maocai (a type of spicy boiled dish). The maocai was quite watery, not at all like the rich, thick broth of boiled beef in chili sauce--the ingredients weren't very flavorful. The shrimp wontons were very fresh. The dan dan noodles were delicious. Service: The restaurant is run by a Chinese couple who moved to Eugene about 10 years ago. You can tell they really love this place and run the restaurant with great care. When I was paying, for some reason my card kept getting declined, but the owner actively helped me figure out a solution, which eventually eased the awkwardness.
