The service was friendly and quick. The prices are reasonable and the quality of the food is great. I have a feeling that our server was also the owner, so we got some special treatment. I love supporting local shops and this definitely one of those that I would like to see staying succesfully in business. It has both indoor and outdoor seating. Smoking is allowed outside, in a designated area. The food here is very good. But where Café Reichard excels, is at their dessert. The four of us descended upon Café Reichard, after a long and enjoyable afternoon visiting the cathedral. It was magnificent experience, see review and photos. Since it looked like rain, we decided to sit at a covered table. We decided to try a little bit of this and that. But first, we needed some strong German Kaffee to get our motors going again. LOL As I said, I went with the Apfelpfannkuchen €12,60 (see photo). While others tried the Schnitzel und Kartoffel €27,10, Ofenfrische Heidekartoffel mit Kräuterrahm, or Turkey with a Baked Potato. We asked where our food was and the rude waiter said he didn't know and we could cancel it. After an hour, we didn't want to cancel. Asked 10 minutes later, still said the same so we cancelled and walked out, rude waiter came after us and said we had to pay for our Diet Coke or he'd call the police. Don't worry we won't be back. I guess because we were straight tourists they didn't wait on us!
