Cheap chocolate! They have 3 chocolate fountains and none of them were turned on. I asked if they were working, the girl behind counter said yes. I was here about 2 months ago, I ordered a strawberry cup with both dark and milk chocolate. I was very disappointed the chocolate immediately harden. I decided to give this place another try, worse!! They do not turn chocolate fountains on which makes the chocolate hard and very yucky to eat. I ordered the white chocolate. I personally do not like this location but I do like the one located on san dario. SAN DARIO*** I love ordering the Dulce de Leche preparado. It is frozen yogurt with nuts, cajeta and fruit. Another favorite of mine is the flaming hots preparados. It consists of flaming hot cheetos, diced pickles, sour belts, chamoy, and lime. They're amazing! *watch out for the heartburn lol! Do yourself a favor and please get the chocolateka ice-cream cup. It comes in a still really big portioned small size and large (which I think is great for sharing between couples). One draw back however is that the fruit isn't the freshest but still good, and Chocolateka can be a little pricey. However, the chocolate is delicious. I've tried both the milk and dark chocolate and they're both so good. And the chocolate fountains are a plus ;-) read more

Ok, so I'm not a big fan of chocolate fountains, mainly because you have to eat the drizzled chocolate quickly before it becomes rock hard- like it does when you pour chocolate on ice cream. It gets difficult to really enjoy the combination of ice cream and fruit with rock hard chocolate impeding the spoon from grabbing a scoop. The ladies are really nice and gave out samples to try the different things, and I had no problem with the fruit being fresh. I think next time though I'll skip the ice cream and just have fruit drizzled with chocolate topped with almonds and coconut... Off my rant and back to the review..fruit- good. chocolate- good. service- good. ice cream- good. But don't let the name fool you, the have chamoy options too! A very unique and interesting way to eat fruits. We don't have this type of deserts back in Houston so this was a nice experience. The store is very clean and with comfortable sofas. The workers are also very friendly. You have to try the fruit cup with "chamoy" not sure how you spell it but I took a picture of it. read more

I was really excited to go to this place and buy a Chamoy covered apple. I am here from out of town and wanted to take some home as a souvenir. Well as it turns out one apple cost $6! That was so expensive, well I decided to eat one apple here today and take one home. The lady recommended I get it "dressed" with lime and more Chamoy and sliced in a cup. They charged me a whole extra dollar to squirt a lime and slice an apple! Altogether I paid almost $14 for two apples! Honestly I liked the taste but the prices are truly outrageous. read more

This place is over priced and over-rated. My 5th time going, let me tell you some things that bothered me. The chamoy is way too watery, the creama is REALLY bland, the chocolate they claim to be imported Belgium chocolate doesn't taste like anything special. The white chocolate either smells funky or is burned. The healthier choice, dark chocolate, is too sweet. The place smells funny and not in a good way. The fruit isn't always fresh. The Strawberries were 3/5 juicy. There's roaches in the restroom. Its way too cluttered and messy and overwhelming at the cash register. The music is too loud. The tostitos with corn are bland and for its price I highly DO NOT recommend. You can't enjoy ice cream or the froyo with their "special chocolate" when it gets rock hard with the cold and can't break through until everything has melted. There's only 2 choices of froyo. If you want frozen yogurt go some place else. The ice cream itself tastes like your typical generic ice cream. If you want ice cream go to marble slab or some other place. At first it seems like a cute place for a date but it gets crowded with middle school kids and it sounds like peter piper's pizza/chucky cheese with all their noise. Plenty of hype about this place. But can't seem to find the reason why. If I wanted hill county fare slapped in front of me at a premium price I could go to HEB myself and get it for cheaper. Next time anyone goes eye out their "quality" ingredients. The chocolate was subpar and the smell of dirty mop water and chocolate aren't that appetizing. The snacks there aren't anything a raspa truck can't produce, so no need to go out of your way to flock here folks. I did give it two tries for consistency but the rinky dink place had a lasting impression. Hopefully that chocolate they pride themselves on improves, until then grab a Hersheys bar,stick it in the microwave and you'll be better off and in the comfort of home rather than sitting In rainbow vomit that can be overwhelming, it looks like a 5 year old room.
