It was surprisingly sweet despite not asking for sweetener. Honestly the best part was the AC since it was 90F (32C) that day. Great little shop to escape a hot day and grab some chocolates.

I quickly chose a couple pre bagged candies and intended on buying a few chocolates as well but the tourists were still planted in front of the door, constantly changing their mind, asking for additional things, getting confused, asking more questions, wanting additional things, then getting confused again. I waited quite a bit for them and when they decided to add in more items (which they were confused about again) I finally called it and put everything back, having to edge around them again to push my way out. I'd like to see Duman add in a second associate for the back counter, ask customers to keep the doorway clear, and if the guest is unsure of what they want and there's a line, move on to the next customer and give them time to think about it. In all in, with the current shop setup I don't think I'll be back.

The concept is very interesting, they serve the chocolate separately, and you add it to a cup of hot milk and stir it yourself. The first floor is a chocolate shop where you can browse and purchase a variety of chocolates, while the café is upstairs on the second floor. They also have outdoor seating if you prefer to enjoy your drink outside. The ambience is warm, cozy, and inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a chocolate break. The service was a bit slow, but it was definitely worth the wait. Overall, the Costa Rica hot chocolate was our favorite. It was slightly sweet with a light creamy taste. The Hazelnut Praline was much too sweet for our liking, and the Ecuador wasn't as smooth as the Costa Rica. We enjoyed the Costa Rica chocolate so much that we ended up taking home four bags. It was the perfect souvenir and a delicious reminder of our visit. :)

I had to go and buy some chocolates at Pierre Marcolini. Pierre Marcolini is one of most famous Chocolatier in the World. The chocolates are handmade in Brussels. He uses premium coca bean and exotic ingredients for chocolate. The shop is clean and elegant. It displayed and stocked premium chocolate. I bought few chocolates and tablets. I didn't care about the price and just worried how to bring it back to the cruise when the outside temp almost 28 degree. I am by no means a chocolate snob but this stuff is incredible. It's like melt in your mouth heaven. The packaging is modern and makes a great gift if you don't keep it all for yourself. This shop is a lot smaller than the ones in Brussels. My only regret is that I didn't get more. I didn't realize just how amazing it was and that they can't deliver to the USA. I got an assortment box and a few of the squares. I wanted to get chocolate covered oranges but unfortunately they were sold out and the lady assisting me said it usually goes super quickly.
