My family came by here on the way to the Pearl Ice Cream shop. My husband and I collect magnets and…read morestickers from different states to commemorate our adventures and thought this would be a cool place to get our stuff. Well all I can say is we deeply regret our decision. Just to give context, we came in about 30 minutes before closing and we are not ones who come into a place tearing the place up. We literally needed a magnet and sticker. The little mean brunette girl pretty much ignored us and was rude the whole time. My husband tried making small talk with her to lighten her piss poor mood, and asked her if the game of La crosse originated from here, and she snarled at him and replied,"I guess". Being that we were from out of town (Texas), this was a legit question from someone who is from out of state, so her attitude was not warranted and she needs to fix her face. Anyway, my husband handed her the magnet, which I told him to go somewhere else to get it because it costs extra for her to be nice, but he just bought it to save himself the hassle later. He first walked in front of the register so he could pay with his Apple Watch, and she slammed the magnet on the opposite counter, so he walked around to the counter with the magnet. He then asked where he needs to go to use his Apple Watch to pay, and she pointed back to the area he was just standing at originally. Sigh! After the transaction, there was no thank you, appreciate it, or have a nice day. Apparently we interrupted her quiet time and that warranted her crappy attitude. The sad part about this is the store next door (Drift Mercantile) that is owned by the same person, but had a different employee (blond girl) who was super friendly and didn't act annoyed when we came in. She could teach the short brunette girl with long hair something about customer service or just how to be a good human. So my rating of one star was given because they did have some neat shirts in there, but honestly, the employee working at this store was such a jerk, I lost my will to want to buy anything. I rarely give a one star because I don't ask for a lot when I shop, eat, or go out to public spaces, but this girl pissed me off enough to warrant this one star review. Don't shop here until they get their attitudes in check.

We bought some strawberry rhubarb cream cheese that we thought had a bit too much sugar bc it was more like frosting, but it was wonderful frosting! Cute gift shop, kitchen tools, cheese, meat sticks, wood work. Just a great place. Will make it a stop on our trips to visit mom. Open year round at 8am.

The old clerical shirts that hehad worn and really liked had been discontinued by Toomy. She explained that if we drove down Mr. Noelke would take my husbands measurements. My family set-off on a snowy Saturday, we lived three hours away from La Crosse. Mr. Noelke was in the store and took my husbands measurements. We ordered two new Roomy Toomy shirts from Mr. Noelke. When the shirts arrived at our home, the neck was to small. I called Toomy, because the shirts came from them, but they stated we needed to go back through Noelke store in La Crosse. When my husband called the La Crosse store he was told they would only take one of the shirts back! We admit that we were human, it made us angry that we were out time and money. I did not rewrap the shirts as I should have done but placed them in the box and placed the plastic inside the box. We paid Noelke $114.45 and received a little over $55.00 back. Plus he kept both shirts. I don't think we will be visiting Noelke's on our return visits to La Crosse. God Bless You

My daughter's wedding was last weekend, and her feet still have not touched the ground. Before she set a date, we called Monet Floral to make sure that THEY would be available. Her sister's wedding in 2008 was a fabulous demonstration of how daisies could elevate the somewhat austere ballroom of the La Crosse Center. Daughter #2 knew that the venue would be different, but she hoped for the same drama and artistry that only Monet could deliver. And boy, did they deliver. Ben and Pat have led the team for as long as I can remember, and working with them is a dream. "Creative" and "full service" is only the start. Because of their years of experience, they have established working relationships with most of the vendors in town, which makes planning SO MUCH easier. Ben was endlessly patient with us as we had to plan, postpone, and pivot due to the virus. He was able to incorporate the bride's love of candlelight and roses, along with her very personal color palette and her custom logo. The results were STUNNING. She could not have been more pleased, and she commented that the floral design met or exceeded any display that she has seen in New York City. The staff at Monet worked seamlessly with our wedding planner, and together they were able to put all the pieces in place with very little direction from us. Brian, on staff at the shop, was quick to volunteer to help, and he was able to use his own personal tools to add to the ambiance. Summer has been a valued designer for a long time, and her attention to detail and artistry are legendary. Patrick sourced foliage from his own garden to help out with a project at the last minute. They are able to source rental items to supplement their already ample inventory of staging pieces. They sought input from us and were receptive to my daughter's ideas, but were very capable of forging ahead without a lot of direction when the actual day approached. The flowers were carefully chosen and were of such high quality that I am still enjoying many of the stems. Ben was able to use silk flowers that I had collected to keep them out of the landfill, for we both are all for recycling and re-using whenever possible. As an artist, he maintained the beauty of all-fresh flowers in the reception area, but used the artificial stems for outdoor embellishments, where closeup scrutiny was not an issue. The staff did all of the delivery and setup in the short time they had, no small feat, considering that there were MULTIPLE weddings scheduled for the venue. They really must have worked quickly. I cannot think of any floral design group ANYWHERE that could do a better job. I could not recommend them more highly.

This is for an inhouse sewage sump pump for our lower level. Here is a quote from their email... "then our materials or any business that sells materaisl has a mark up, ours is 55-65% (depending on the material , large items are a little less than smaller itmes such as fittings) so a little more double the actual cost of the materials is a good rule of thumb so your bill was 1750 600 in materials so 1400 there then the 300 an hour ( thats a minumum charge for a site visit) so thats where the 1750 came from" If the material was even marked up just 65% it would have only came to $990 not $1,400. Please check other plumbers before using Advanced Plumbing.

I contacted Coulee Region Ecoscapes (CRE) and they sent out a landscaping architect to assess my situation. A couple of weeks later I was presented with a full-color mitigation plan to repair the erosion damage and install landscaping features and native deep-rooting plants to slow the water drainage and retain the soil. We are selling our home and CRE was able to get us on their busy schedule in time to meet our closing and I could not be happier with the results of their work (kinda made us sad we were selling the house now with the beautiful landscaping job they did). I would recommend Coulee Region Ecoscapes to my friends and family in a heartbeat. My next-door neighbor was so impressed with my results, they are having CRE provide an estimate for some improvements they would like to make to their landscaping.
