As hospitals go its gorgeous - everything smells new and clean. Everything looks so modern and like theres a good chance it will work haha. The staff here are the staff from the other premises - all be it with new uniforms. The new building seems to have given everybody a bit of the feel good factor as it seems a happy place to be. Appointments always seem to be running to time as nobody ever seems fed up. There is a small chemist here and a big bonus to this local hospital is that it has a doctors surgery on site as well. Although newton seems a small place to have a hosptial such as it is now - it is very easy to get to as the local bus into st helens runs every ten to fifteen minutes.

The service they provide is very efficient and they are highly organized in maintaining their appointments.If the doctors are not available then they arrange another doctor for you and try to ensure that the patient gets the appointment for example once my GP had fallen ill so they directed me to another GP on the same day. The surgery is quite big and also has a clean and quite environment which takes in to account of the needs of patients and assures them that they will get a good treatment.
