Robin (Licensed Midwife) is super sweet, soft spoken, always has a natural remedy for little symptoms throughout the time. The receptionist, Kat, is ON IT and also super sweet every time you arrive and is super helpful with anything insurance/money/ documentation - and she genuinely has your back with all of that stuff. I was blessed with a (relatively speaking) easy pregnancy but Robin answered 2/2 of my late night SOS calls that I had during that time frame. And when I called thinking labor was starting she was ready to get there and support me, no hesitation, despite it being a seemingly fast timeline (and thank goodness she trusted me and was ready, because I was 8-9cm by the time I got there). I am very fortunate in that my health insurance covers much of the cost for reproductive care. The clinic completed a complete and full workup on me and my husband that took a few months to do. They also helped get him set up with a reproductive urologist to work through his stuff. While at first, the online portal felt a bit informal and challenging to navigate, once I got through to working with the IVF teams I have felt that the communication has been fantastic. They give me a calendar with videos and what time to take all of my medications, explanations in messages to why things are done the way they are and nearly always answer my question the same day if not early the next day. I feel very taken care of and am grateful that I am able to access care like this.

I had one 30 minute virtual Telehealth session where they tell you what to expect, and I got a bill for $700! I could have gotten the exact same information from simply doing a Google search, and they gave the audacity to charge $700 for a Telehealth visit. I understand my insurance doesn't cover this, but $700 for a 30 minutes chat on basic information is absurd. Don't make the same mistake I did. Do your own research and decide if you want to freeze your eggs before ever going near a clinic. They aren't there to help you make an informed decision, they are there to make sure they get your money regardless of if they get your business or not. It is just a business profiting on peace of mind and hopes and dreams, after all.

The front desk ladies are oh so nice and conversational... my midwives are so friendly and understanding... they have an excellent billing agent, so any insurance weirdness I had from my old state she was able to figure out which was amazing. 100% if you want a birth center, choose here. I give birth in 2 weeks (or more, or less) and I owe my sense of calm about it to TOL! I can't wait to give birth here!

I am new to the area, and out of all the doctors and midwives I had talked to, this place was definitely my favorite! They listened to my concerns, helped me with my birth plan, and really let me be in control over all my options and decisions. They helped guide and prep me for the natural unmedicated birth that I wanted, and gave me plenty of information to take home and look over. Pregnancy and delivery can be an overwhelming experience, but they made it so much easier. When it came to delivery, I wouldn't have been able to follow through with my birth plan without them. They kept me going when I felt like giving up, and they made sure that they did all they could to keep me and the baby healthy. I am forever grateful for their hard work and patience

My daughter's annuals are super easy because they get right to the point and focus on my daughter. They are always happy to answer and concerns I have but it is so nice to run through the appointments smoothly. I have been to other offices where the NP just had a generally slow pace about them and it drove me crazy! It is evident that staff cares for each other and I have seen this extended towards my daughter several times even in the MA's interactions with her. I highly recommend Lake Pediatrics for anyone looking for compassionate and supportive care for your child because I trust them with mine.

While signing in there was no greetings, my children were new patience and I didn't receive any paper work until I returned to the window to inform the rude receptionist that we were new patience. She has no social graces. Once taken back the M.A. was wonderful and I thought, maybe the receptionist was having a bad day. But once the Nurse Practitioner came into the room and started judging me for being a single parent and telling me how I should and should not raise my children, I quickly realized this was not a good office for my children or myself. After all the rude remarks from the N.P. I opted to give my children the Hep A vac. and the nurse who injected my children wouldn't even converse with them in any way, shape or form, She didn't answer any of my questions and then barked at me to hold my children down or she will have a nurse do it for me. Needless to say, it was the most outrageous Dr. visit my children or I have ever experienced. Upon leaving I wanted to discuss my disappointments and concerns, but there wasn't anyone to be found to talk to. I called and left messages for the office manager, but there was and still is no response. Except for a call back from a nurse who wanted to argue with me and who didn't want to hear any of my concerns. Her theory was the "it's a business" and nothing was done incorrectly. Save yourself some time and just avoid them altogether.

Chelsea ended up being our Doula when I went into labor and she went above and beyond, showing up at the hospital and being exactly what we needed in the moment. Her calm, reassuring presence made all the difference. We felt well-prepared going into the birth thanks to the time she spent with us beforehand, answering every question and walking us through what to expect. When labor began, we felt ready--and during the birth, her support and knowledge were invaluable. What we really appreciated was the ability to reach out with questions both before and after the birth too. Having that level of access and guidance was incredibly comforting during such a life-changing time. If you're considering hiring a doula, this was the best decision we made and I can't recommend them enough! We will definitely be using that again.

I was hospitalized for a night and without my consent, Candy came into my house and took my newborn baby into my bedroom and had the door closed without my permission that whole night. My mother in law was there and she didn't even allow her to carry her own grandson. She dismissed her and treated her like a servant, told her to make her coffee. Thank God my brother came and took over. Candy try to take control of my household and was instrusive. She slept in my bedroom invading my privacy. God forbid she did something to my son. They would also contradict each other causing a lot of confusion. Anesthesiologist punctured my wife's spine and blamed her...another had to come and finish. What took the first provider five pokes in 30 minutes took the next one about 90 seconds. Clearly operator error. Very unprofessional. Due to this my wife had to have another procedure after giving birth to twins...he had severe back pain, was leaking spinal fluid and was have headache so debilitating she couldn't even get up to use the restroom. None of this is related to giving birth... all of it was related to the epidural and due to the incompetence of anesthesiologist. The only good doctor we experienced was the one who delivered our twins. She kept checking in with us, communicated a plan with us and was very positive. We were there for 5 days and only saw a doctor when we requested one about 2 hours before you were discharged. no one can answer our questions... The nurse has tried their best, but weren't getting much answers from the doctors above them. Again, shout out to the delivery unit, nursing staff, lead nurses, charge nurses and entire nicu staff. Oh! The food staff and cleaning staff was also very nice and did their job well. Doctors? 2/10 We considering contacting an attorney.

First, it is so cold in the maternity area that I had to get blankets to keep myself warm, as well as my son in law who was also freezing.My daughter was covered and she was cold, even being in labor! Secondly, when it was time for the baby to be born, the nurse told my daughter she would have to wait as the doctor was delivering another baby.....what???....another nurse grabbed the house phone and said that unless a doctor came to my daughter's room immediately, the nurse was going to deliver the baby. Two doctors showed up rather quickly. My grand daughter made her entrance into the world! The nurses were fantastic,patient, and spent a lot of time explaining what was going on with my daughter's labor. The hospital is clean and well maintained. Food was just okay. Breast feeding support seemed to be good. There was a lag in time when my daughter and her husband were told a room would be ready in the NICU (baby needed some blood work follow-up) would be ready in an hour. It took several hours.They were exhausted as my daughter had been in labor for quite some time and just wanted to get settled so they could rest a bit before bringing the baby home. Anyway, the little family is fine!
