Kids bacon cheeseburger with half fries
    Dawn K.

Everything. Everything we got was delicious. Burgers. Shakes. Fries, rings, taters. ALL GOOD! Here are the burgers we ordered The monthly special, Wix way, so freaking good. Two thin charred patties, caramelized onions, Get it. Garlic burger, oh my, yes, egg, yes! Bbq bacon cheeseburger, again they nailed it, delicious. Kids bacon cheeseburger- my son gobbled it up. The buns are perfect, they have this toasted buttery flavor, so good. Tater tots, fries, and onion rings are all are so good! The sweet potato fries were probably our favorite! Chocolate peanut butter shake - so yummy, my personal fav! Caramel biscoff - delicious, and the special of the month, the peppermint shakes was incredible. We can't wait to go back!! Loved Chom!

I've been going to this restaurant for years and I wanted to preface by saying I have been eating here since I moved to Utah county. The service at this location is almost always top notch, they are kind and friendly and have a great understanding of the menu without making you feel rushed. Now that being said I didn't have the greatest experience this time but the girl who took our order is was very helpful but she left because her shift was over after helping us with our order. The first negative thing was the drink machine. It has not been cleaned in years. There's a layer of filth on it that has been there since my first time at the restaurant and I'm not even exaggerating. We told them their machine was dirty years ago. We told them that it was very dirty and the machine smells a little. Also it looked like mold and mildew was growing out of the top yuck! So we've brought our own beverage for years because of that. Normally the restaurant is cleanish minus the drink machine but you can visibly see the dirt on the floors. Which I understand happens with the flooring material it's just not the best. It just seemed so grimy in there. We originally were going to sit outside because of this. We mainly sat inside because after waiting about ten minutes I went back in to check for my order which no one checked to see if we were outside like we mentioned to the staff. They maybe just didn't hear us but by the time we got our food it was cold. Which I get miscommunications happen all the time. I'm sure that was what happened. The food was decent, the fries were lacking any flavor but salt and they were cold. The burger was good well seasoned, it was little but that was to be expected since it was a kids meal. The tater tots were great and would have been out of the park if they were hot but they were still good as is. They have my fave tots in all of Utah County so far and I enjoyed them. Overall, I enjoy this place but it just missed the mark. I think I may just continue to frequent the American Fork location. This one seems to have seen better days lately. Luckily for them the college crowd is looking for reasonably priced delicious eats. This restaurant foots the bill. However it is not it for me and my husband. Especially when we tip and get cold food. ( I happily tip, but when I have to get my food and it's cold that's just a big ol bummer) I hope they take some time and invest in 1. Cleaning the drink machines, 2. Cleaning the floor, 3. Maybe fixing the roof distressed is a look that looks better on pants. Their food is still good just kind of bummed out after this experience.

CHOM is awesome!! We have heard a lot about this place and were excited to give it a try. First of all, LOTS of different burger options. There is a flavor profile for everyone! The building is clean, new, and modern. Totally my style!! I love it. The colors work well together and the buildout is fabulous. These guys know what they're doing. They offer sweet potato fries and regular fries. Whichever you choose! Can't decide? Go with a mixed tray of fries! Milkshakes are thick and awesome. The flavor options are incredibly delicious. Can't end this review without mentioning that they have GLUTEN FREE BUNS!! And they're pretty good!!! Give this place a try, it's awesome!

Solid burger place! Would definitely go again when I'm in the area. I thought the burger size was perfect. Enough to finish in one sitting and be very very full. Especially if you order the combo. I ordered the garlic burger and it was delicious. Really liked how the egg was cooked. Perfectly cooked so the egg is slightly jammy. Super juicy patty, fresh veggies, and well toasted buns. Also really liked how crispy the fries were. Overall a really good dining experience :)

While visiting family a couple weeks we stopped in for lunch. The sandwich options were good. I split the BBQ chicken sandwich with my 15 yr old daughter. It was good, I really loved that we could order the sweet potato fries 50/50 with the regular fries. There is indoor seating and outdoor seating. It felt a little loud inside and felt like the tables could use a wipe down even though it wasn't terribly busy and it wasn't much past opening. We opted to eat outside and it was nice they had covered seating because it did end up raining. The milkshake was basic, not bad but not remarkable. We got the chocolate and the cookies and cream.

These are the best burgers around! Now anytime I visit I have to come here for the bleu bacon burger! Service is great, music is fun and it's a relaxed atmosphere.

Overall it was okayish. I got the Mini CHOM plus bacon and cheese. The lettuce or pickle was really wet and as soon as I picked it up about 3 tablespoons of watery liquid dripped on my tray. Not great. The burger itself was a bit pink but overall it was fine. The Oreo shake was disappointing it was icy and mostly crumbs. There were not large pieces of Oreo or whip cream as pictured in the menu. The 50/50 fries were pretty good and the sauce was excellent. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here. But it was fine to go with friends.

I'd driven past this place dozens of times and I'm glad I finally got to stop in and try it. The shared parking lot behind the restaurant is your best bet for parking. There is a ton of seating in the restaurant and it is tastefully decorated. There are a ton of fun movie quotes on the walls. The food was really good and was prepared pretty quickly. The guy who took our order was nice and willing to chat and give recommendations. For a burger and fries, it's a little pricey, but the flavor is great and the food was filling.

Great burger! Everything was perfect, from the toasted bun to the burger itself, the bacon, blue cheese, grilled onions, and lettuce and tomato. Not normally a fan of skinny fries but these were faultless.

The restaurant was fairly busy, and despite not having reservations, we were seated immediately. I started with the Yanabah iced tea ($5), a Navajo herbal tea. It was light, refreshing, and not overly herbal. We shared a wedge salad to start, which came with a chipotle mayo dressing that was excellent. It had more heat than the chipotle flavors I am typically used to, and I really enjoyed the extra kick. For my entrée, I ordered the Navajo taco with BBQ pork ($15)? which was outstanding. The taco is served on freshly made fry bread that was fluffy, slightly sweet, and had subtle honey notes. It was piled with a generous portion of perfectly cooked pulled pork coated in a sweet glaze, along with some fresh vegetables and herbs that added both crunch and more flavor, with chipotle sauce on the side. The fry bread was fresh and flavorful, the pork was tender, and the combination of herbs, vegetables, and sauce created a great balance of sweet, savory, and spicy flavors. Black Sheep Café offers a unique menu inspired by Native American and Southwestern flavors, and I wish I had more time to come back and try more of the menu. If you're in Provo, I highly recommend.

But then came the steak, which was flat-out the best I've had in years. No notes. Here's the thing though, I'm not a gnocchi person. Never have been. Our server talked me into it anyway, and I'm genuinely grateful. It's a short rib and stew situation with gnocchi that somehow hits every note perfectly. Total convert now. And the s'mores pie to close out the night? Simply perfect. Don't skip it. The service was great too, our server clearly knew the menu inside and out and steered us exactly right.

However, we did have one drink server where we had some issues with, but our main waitress was lovely. For starters, our table shared the baked ricotta, balsamic glazed brussel sprouts, and bread rolls with honey and butter. The brussel sprouts were good, but the bread rolls were my favorite! They were so incredibly soft and pillowy. They honestly didn't even need the bread and butter! I was most excited for the baked ricotta, but unfortunately it was a disappointment for me. Ricotta is a very mild cheese to begin with, but I tasted absolutely zero flavor from it and it was mostly just adding a textural element to the bread. The fig walnut guanciale jam was overpoweringly sweet and the guanciale was also nonexistent. Overall, what I expected to be a flavorful combination, fell pretty flat and bland for me. Onto the main, I got to try the Block burger and the house made gnocchi. The burger was a standard burger, nothing too crazy. I was surprised the patty was actually moist because it was cooked well done. The same jam from the baked ricotta was used, so wasn't a big fan of it because again the overwhelmingly sweet didn't do much to elevate the burger. I also missed any flavor from the truffle cheese sauce. So it was a pretty average burger. My gnocchi definitely tasted better than it looked. Another friend also got the same dish and it looked like they just split our portions in half and served it on two separate plates. In general, I wasn't a big fan of this dish. The braised short rib was very tender, but the whole plate sat in a pool of salty sauce. I couldn't really make out any other flavors. The scoop of crème fraiche tasted exactly like sour cream and was not the consistency that I expected. The gnocchi's were made well, but I prefer mine a little firmer. However, this is complete personal preference. Overall, service was good, but food fell severely short of what I expected. I was so excited for all of these elevated flavors and ingredients, but, sadly, none of them came through.

The server was attentive to my needs, took enough time to have conversation, but also left me to enjoy my meal. Being a restaraunt in a hotel the decor was pretty plain. Open with tables closer together than most would prefer. I really wanted the buffet to get started. Most companies are not as generous as mine giving me a $25 allowance for breakfast, but even at that a $22 buffet does not leave room to leave the server a reasonable tip. They should take this into consideration when pricing. There are many other breakfast buffets that are priced much more favorably and usually have a bigger selection. I opted for the western omlette. It was served with potatos which were fine. The omlette taste fine but was really scrambled eggs with ham and veggies mixed in, cooked, then folded in half and topped with cheese. An omlette with the veggies and cheese stuffed inside a thin egg base is always so much better. Hotel food is usually about convenience, so I got what I expected, decent service, acceptable food and a price point higher than average.
